Chapter 194
The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage
Frank sliced his steak as he said, âWe can switch houses if you like.â
âNo, there are plenty of rooms in your mansion. Just let me stay in one of the guest rooms.â Vicky smiled, resting her chin on her hands while winking coquettishly at Frank.
âIf youâre not too busy, you could give me a fullâbody check up. Iâve been feeling so tired lately Frank stayed silent, and Vicky looked up to realize he was staring fixedly in the distance instead of her.
âWhatâs got your attention now?â Vicky asked, following his gaze to find another person sitting in the spacious restaurant.
It was a woman, dressed in a formâfitting Tâshirt, a pair of skinny jeans, and a pair of black heels.
Her figure was voluptuous and ample and slender where she ought to be.
Even Vickyâs eyes straightened, actually impressed by the womanâs perfect form. âMy goodness⦠Are they really that big? Thatâs a real hourglass figure if I ever see one!â
Never one to shy from staring at the good stuff, Frank nodded in agreement. âNot bad.â
Vicky lowered her gaze at herself. âIâm no slouch myself.â
Frank glanced at her for a moment. âNope. She beats you by a country mileâ
Vicky pouted and huffed with jealousy. âHers are fake.â
âNope,â Frank shook his head. âI can tell theyâre natural.â
âHowâd you know?â
Frank said confidently, âThanks to my years working as a healer.â
He had seen so many women that he basically encountered every figure type-he could tell right away if they were fake.
âYouâre that experienced? Youâre such a scoundrel,â Vicky frowned as if she lost out big time.â No, I wonât stand for thisâpants down, I havenât seen yours.â
With those words, she started to reach for his belt.
âHey, what the hell?â Frank was speechlessâwas she usually this aggressive?!
As they jostled around like a playful couple, the woman stood up and called out to a waiter, Iâd like to change seats. Iâd rather not sit that close to idiots.â
âHuhâ¦â
Both Frank and Vicky did a double take, embarrassed and surprised that the womenâs ears were that sharp.
Did she overhear their earlier conversation too?
âItâs all your fault.â Vicky pouted.
â
âHow was that my fault?â Frank rolled his eyes. âYou started it.â
âBecause you were staring at her.â
Later, as the woman finished her meal, she quickly paid the bill and started to leave, just as a group of men entered.
âAll alone, Ms. York?â their leaderâDustin, who wore shades, asked. âYou were so hard to find!â
The woman scowled as soon as she saw the men. âWhere I go is none of your business.â
âCalm down, Ms. York.â Dustin chuckled. âCome with us nowâthe boss has been waiting for a while now.â
âAnd I told him itâs not happening. Donât bother me ever again,â the woman snapped.
She turned, ready to leave when Dustin caught her wrist. âThatâs not up to you to decide, Ms. York.â
âWhat are you doing? Let me go!â the woman shouted as she struggled.
Vicky scowled right then. âBullying a woman in broad daylight?! This is an outrage!â
