Chapter 29

Before you could read this. Some of my writing process has changed a bit as I'm using lines for time difference and change of scene, and I hope you could still understand the flow of this story.

The day of the accident

Nunew thought he would really make the things worst if he cancel the wedding, but to his surprise his father and grandfather who he was so concern about were so supportive of his decision.

If he had just been brave to face his fear he would not have to hurt himself like this. Now he is running after the man that's for sure would lose forever if he would waste his time.

He was thankful of Max that he decided to give it to him before it's really too late.

He immediately turned on his car and drove out to the place and went immediately to the airport.

He glance to his wrist watch and check the time. He still has time to stop Zee from leaving.

They were waiting for the car to move a meter away before they follow secretly, tailing him to where he would go.

Seo hyung was supposed to sneak in along with three of her men to take him as what they had planned, but it changes when Nunew suddenly cancel and run away from the wedding and they didn't expect that.

All they need to do is to find a way to get him.

Seo hyung won't come back in Korea not until he gets the other twin. That's the last option for her to stay sane.

When her son Song Rin died and they couldn't retrieve the body she had gone insane for a month as she couldn't take the truth that the only thing she wants in this world is gone. They all tried everything to find the body but all that leads to nothing, and her father wants her to accept the fact that he was already dead and gone.

They had been on the road for around ten minutes when they notice Nunew's car had stop.

"What happened Bomjong?" Seo hyung ask impatiently.

"He suddenly stopped Ms. Park." He replied.

The other car, where two of her men we're following along with her stops too. They move to the side of the road meters away from Nunew's car.

Nunew stops and frown when someone suddenly block his way. Thank God he was fast enough to step on the gas or he would have run him over.

The one who blocks him walk to the side of his car. Nunew frown in confusion as to why he was there.

His eyes went wide when the guy suddenly pull out a gun and pointed at him through his car window

"OPEN THE DOOR NOW!." He demanded angrily.

In fear Nunew unlock the car door still in shock and fear looking at him.

"Move over!" He demanded. He couldn't do anything but to comply and move to the passenger side.

"Wait! I don't understand this. What is happening. Why are you doing this?" Nunew asked in panic.

"SHUT UP!" The guy shouted in response making him shut his mouth immediately.

Then he continues to drive Nunew's car still holding the gun on his left hand.

He was so dumbfounded by everything that's happening in front of him. Why is he doing this all of a sudden. Why would this person threatening him with a gun?

When the car take a different turn than where Nunew is supposed to go, Nunew immediately panic.

He just remember that he was going after Zee.

"Wait where are we going. This is not the way to the airport." Nunew said in panic.

"Do you think I don't know what you're planning Nunew?" He smirked then giving him a death glare.

"I don't know what you are thinking but I need to go to the airport immediately. Please, I need to go to him right now or I might be too late." pleads

"There's no way I would do that!" He replied clutching more on the staring wheel going above normal speed. Nunew felt fear rushing through his spine. If they could go on in high speed they might have an accident

"Tell me what you want. I'll give it to you. Just please stop the car." Nunew pleads the guy again.

"Really? Who are you kidding Nunew. You may have everything and could give anything, but I know for sure that you won't give the thing that I want the most." Namping said in anger.

Nunew was confused. He had known him as a random guy who loves painting just like him. Nunew took art class as his hobbies and that's where he knows him, but they never got acquainted as the guy are too quiet at school and would never talk to him too.

But right now he was here in front of him. Very different as the quiet guy he knows. He is here in front of him threatening him with a gun, without him knowing the reason why.

"Then.. What do you want Namping?" Nunew ask in despair, wanted to cry as Namping speed up more.

"The thing that I like.. Is for you to die! as your life are too perfect for your own good." Namping replied. Nunew couldn't believe what he heard. He was too stunned to speak. How can someone wants him to die just like that.

(Namping's POV)

I had been living in this world where no one really cares and sees me as I am.

They treat me like I'm just nothing at all.

My family maybe have everything. Money business that any children would want to have, but even though I have that kind of things, they never really sees me as their son. They would always treat me like I never existed. For them I was born without a meaning at all. Like I only to exist and nothing more.

They may pay for everything that I have now, but that's just it. They never care at all.

Then I met Nunew.

The very bubbly, sincere, humble and pretty guy in the school. The will known student of the campus. The guy who's being love, care and admire by everyone.

The guy that I would never be.

Since I came to know him. I always question myself.

Could I be like him if I had just received love from my family and siblings?

Can I be like him, always smiling like the world favors him the most?

Can I?

Well, it's just wishful thinking. Because the truth I could never be like him. Most especially not him.

I always wondered why the god favors him so much while he had given me less than I always wanted. I just want to be happy just like Nunew. But how?

That's the problem. I can't find the answer to my every question, and that even breaks me so much.

Then one day. I got to meet this guy.

A guy that changed my perception in life. A very gentle kind of guy. He's helpful and kind that even if everyone would say his cold person I would always contradict that in my mind, and would always say he is but a warm person for me.

The very first time I met him was when I accidentally tripped and threw all my ice latte at him making him drench with the drink. I thought he would shout and make me pay for dry cleaning as I had expected, but I was wrong he was even the first to say sorry to me seeing he was the one who is not looking and it's not my fault. He even bought me another latte, and he never blames me for my obvious fault.

That's when I started to know about him.

That he is a second year student in humanities and his name is. .KENG

I never thought that stalking his identity and his life would change me. I started to fall in love with the guys secretly.

But then I found something that makes me regret falling in love with him deeply.

He is Nunew Chawarin's bestfriend. Not just a best friend, but I also found out that he is in love with him in secret, even though Nunew is betrothed to his older brother Max. He had been in love with Nunew since he was young.

Then on, I realized if I could just be Nunew my life would be perfect. But that would be impossible right or maybe I could gain something if I would be like him.

So I decided to make a change.

I changed the way I look and make it the same as Nunew Chawarin. Maybe that would make a different, I had thought. If I could be someone the same as Nunew people would think of me differently and maybe just maybe they could see me too.

So I did just as that. Slowly I learn to dress just like him. Cut my hair the same as him and act the same as him. Even if I detested the act of being all friendly. I did it for a change.

So does my plan really work?

Yes it did. People started to notice me. Praise me and even my siblings would notice me.

But the difference is that I was being compared. But that's okay as long as everyone notice me.

Some of the people would even mistaken me as him. Me and Nunew have the same belt so everyone would have thought of me as him as I act the same as how he does.

Even if I hate to be compare it's okay at least Keng would look at me.

At first that's what happened he notice me talk to me and smile at me but then he suddenly change and never talk to me again.

The next thing I know he doesn't notice me anymore.

Then days before the graduation. I happen to hear them that Keng bought a bracelet for Nunew. All along I thought he had learn to like me because I am like Nunew, but the difference was I am only a substitute and would never be Nunew.

Then on I started to hate Nunew. How can be his life to perfect. Even the people that he couldn't reciprocate the love is still loving him even if they would get hurt in the end. They would still choose him.

And I hate him for that.

I wish he would just die so no one would choose him and love him blindly just like Keng did.

So I decided.

If my life isn't going to be happy why would I let him be happy just like that. It would be too unfair.

So here I am riding his car determined to take him somewhere isolated so I could just shoot him to die just like I planned to do.

"What did I ever do to you?" Nunew started to cry asking me, but I didn't feel any remorse for him. I feel even more angry listening at him.

"Could you just shut up." I look at him in disgust. I haven't done anything yet and he's now making me want to kill him immediately.

"As far as I remember I didn't do anything wrong to you Namping." He said as tears started to fall in his eyes, and this time I deathly glare at him making me furious even more. I drove faster in full speed.

The fear and panic on his face doubled, and is making me want to laugh out loud. It's so fun looking at him getting scared just as this.

"That's the problem? Of course we know both that you didn't do anything, and yet again even if you didn't do anything or something everyone sees you, admires you, and loves you without you even trying." I started.

"And I hate you for that Nunew Chawarin!" I shouted as I look at him in anguish.

He was now holding at the passenger seat tightly as I still speeding up the drive.

"Let's talk this out calmly Namping . please.. slowdown the car." He shouted and beg but I don't want to listen to him. I'm really angry right now. Even more now that he cancel his wedding with Keng's brother.

That must be mean Keng would have a chance to have him. Or maybe that's why he run because of Keng.

"You cancel your wedding because of Keng right?" I ask him but he didn't answer so I look at him instead of looking at the road. He was looking at me confused.

"You answer me Nunew." I ask again.

"No.."he said.

I scoffed couldn't believe that he would lie to me.

"Liar!" I shouted at him as he immediately flinched.

"But I'm telling the truth. Keng wasn't part of the reason why I cancel my wedding." He said in all honesty.

"Is this all because of Keng?" Then he ask

Before I could say anything to him we both heard a honk. We both look at the front and to our horror we saw a truck running towards us. That's when I realize we were not in our lane.

"NAMPING....!" He shouted, and in an instant I immediately pulled to the left side doing all my might to avoid the truck, thankfully I did avoid it.

But when I thought I could sigh in relief, the next thing I realized we were heading to the cliff and I couldn't control the speeding of the car.

The next thing happened the brakes wasn't working and Nunew shouted and was pleading to stop the car.

"Nam... Please stop the car..." I was trying my best do as what he wanted but to no avail I can't make it stop. It's broken.

"Nunew the brakes is not working I can't make it stop." I said panic was taking me.

"No no no.." he shouted

The car was heading to the cliff on speed. His eyes went wide and so was I.

"Ooh God stop.. No, please stop this." He shouted at me again.

"I CAN'T!" I respond

"Turn the wheel on the right Namping!" he shouted panicky. When I couldn't turn it over he immediately tried to take the wheel from me and pull to the right harder as he could as he scoot me over try to step the gas.

"God this can't be..!" he shout trying to control the brakes but the speed of his car is faster than he was expecting and all I can do is to watch how we both couldn't do anything of what would happen in the next second.

"AAAAAHHHHHHHH"

The car hit all the signage that's blocking it's way.

It's like everything happens in a slow motion. Our voice echoed through the car as we both shouted. The car went down the cliff banging all the things blocking it's way tumbling down on big rocks at the bottom.

Then all I could feel was my head and body were banging and hitting the stirring wheel and on the side mirror harder that makes me dizzy, while Nunew hit his head on front glass window making him bleed profusely too.

I felt numb from the pain as I looked at Nunew who was now slowly losing his consciousness. I don't know where I was hit but I felt something dripping. It's a blood dripping from my head flowing to my eyes making my sight blur. I was also bleeding just like him.

Is this really it. Is it the end for me?

Is this the way of God in making me pay for the wrong things that I've done and would be doing? Is this his way of saying that I should never play at anyone's life?

I just wanted to be happy in life so why couldn't I get it?

I felt my tears streaming down my face. As my breath hitch as I struggle to breath. I looked at my left and saw Nunew shower on his own blood.

He looked at me trying to stay awake. He try to say something but he struggled to talk. He was catching his breath as well, as his hand was trembling trying to reach for me.

"N-namm.. are you..o- o..kay?" As he successfully found his voice to ask me worriedly as his tears started to fall.

Now I'm wondering why would he still care if I'm okay? I'm the reason why we are slowly dying here. So why would he still care?

"N-namm.. Namping .." he calls me again breathlessly. This time he was shaking me with his trembling hands. I try to respond but I couldn't talk anymore and my eyes is unconsciously closing on his own . I couldn't find my voice as I'm struggling to breathe. I look at Nunew in the eyes once again trying to convey how sorry I am for what I did to him.

Now I realize why he was loved by everyone.

He is the person who would never blame you for what you did. He is the person that would still feel sorry and care for you even if you did him wrong.

Now I realize I don't really want him to die.

If I could just undo what I had done.

How I wish I could tell him how sorry I am for what I did. I wish I could get him out of here so he would stay alive.

My eyes are starting to close as my breath slows down.

"Nam.. wake.. wake u-up."

The last thing I heard Nunew said as I succumbed to the darkness as the last prayer I made could reach to him.

'God give him a chance. Help him please! Help Nunew!'

If god was unfair to me. Can he just be fair to Nunew?

NUNEW'S POV

I tried to shake Namping but he is not responding to me. All I could do is to cry in despair. God! Is he dead already?

"I'm sorry.. G-od.. Nam- wake up.."

My breath is starting to take away. But I try all my might to be strong in that moment.

I wanted to find help. I need to find help for us. Maybe Namping could be save..I tried to open the door but it was blocked. I was trying all my might to push it open but it couldn't. A minute passed and I was starting to lose hope as my breath started to fade.

I know now that we can't be saved on time.

But I still want to see my Hia.

God I can't die without him knowing what I truly felt for him. I can't die without saying the word I love you m.

I looked down and saw my phone on the car floor. I tried to reach it but I failed many times. In one last try I finally took it.

There's only one person I need to talk to right now. I slowly opened my phone as my hands and my body had no more strength at all. while opening my phone my hands were trembling.

My phone was cracked but I can still use it.

My breath hitch once more as I was barely struggling to stay alive and conscious. I am losing my life at any minute and I know it.

I put the phone in my ears as I call Zee, but I felt my world spinning as I heard that I sent to a voicemail just like when Max was calling him awhile ago. I guess he had already turned off his phone. Maybe he was on the plane now.

But I still tried to call again in the second attempt and to my broken heart I still didn't reach him. I try to do it many times again not wanting to lose hope but to no avail it is always not reachable.

Now I lost him completely and lost my life too. As my consciousness slowly fading in the background. I called him one more time again but another voicemail was put on. Now I couldn't hear his voice. How I wish he could hear the last words I wanted to say to him. Even if I struggled to talk anymore I needed to try.

When I was sent to the voicemail again I immediately told the last message I wanted for him to hear.

"H- Hia.. I love you so much..hah.. I love you too.. so much Hia."

I felt my blood spilled in my mouth as I trembled trying to catch my breath.

Suddenly I heard a freckle of the wire in the back engine and in second I saw my car starting to burn by the fire that started on the back.

Before I could send a message through voicemail my phone shutdown. It's really too late for me. I couldn't even tell him how I really feel.

My tears fall in my eyes as the last hope is gone for me. How can life be so unfair.

All I wanted was to get to Zee but I can't. Now I was here in a place where my life is ending.

'I'm sorry Hia.. Maybe.. in another life we can meet again' as I said in my mind while I can feel my body envelope by the heat that comes from the fire in the back.

'I'm sorry.. mom..dad - grandpa.. I failed. Let's all see each other again. Let's see each other in another life Hia..' I lastly said as I take my last breathe and closed my eyes.

But before my consciousness could stop working I heard the door of my car opened and someone was checking the pulse on my neck.

"We need to hurry and take him out. He still has a pulse." The last thing I heard before I lost conscious and succumb into darkness.

It's like all happened in a speed of light. They all saw how Nunew's car falls down on the cliff.

"Aaaahhhh... Ohh God, they falls down the cliff Bomjong." Seo hyung shouted at him in fear. They stop and immediately went out of the car.

They all saw the car fall and tumbling down the cliff.

All this time they just follow the car after someone comes and stops it. They didn't think that the guy could lead them to that accident.

"Do something Bomjong..." Seo hyung shouted in so much horror and panic once again.

Bomjong looked around immediately to find a way to get down the cliff.

"Mr. Kim, I think that's the way down there." One of his men said as he was pointing at their right side and there's a road that leads down the cliff.

Then in an instantly they made a decision to go back to the car and went down to a narrow and bumpy road.

When they arrived they saw how the cars bumper were destroyed and over all the car was wrecked. Now they are thinking that the person inside could not possibly be alive.

Seo hyung gasp in horror looking at how damage and wreck the car was in front of them.

Without any instructions Bomjong got out of the car and so as the others on the other car. They instantly went to check on for the two people inside.

They notice that the left door was blocked by a large rock so it can't be opened inside.

"Everyone let's help take out this rock" Bomjong instructed his men.

They all help take it and when they successfully did it they immediately open the door. Bomjong immediately notice that a fire was starting to burn the backseat of the car.

Bomjong immediately check the pulse on Nunew's neck and sigh in relief when he found his pulse.

"We need to hurry and take him out. He still has a pulse." He tell his men.

"Let's take him out." Bomjong instructed his other men before they took him out and placed him meters away from the destroyed car and put him down to the ground.

"Is he dead?" Seo hyung ask in fear as she was holding the car door waiting for Bomjong to answer her question. Even if he's full of blood she could see her Song Rin in him

"Still has pulse.." he said in an instant before he place his hand on his chest.

Bomjong was a medical assistant and has medical profession before he started working for Seo hyun. So did an immediate and aggressive resuscitation to revive him back to life.

He was on it for a minute not giving up at any second when suddenly Nunew gasp for air. He was barely awake but now breathing.

They all heard Seo Hyung sigh in so much relief.

"Mr. Kim, this one is still alive and barely breathing." Bomjong who heard his men look up and frown to what his men said. He almost forgot that there's still someone inside with Nunew in the car.

Bomjong looked at Seo hyung immediately who changed her expression in just a second. Then he gets what she wanted to tell.

"Barely breathing.. He can't be saved anyway. "she said and grin with the idea came in her head and looked at Bomjong.

"I guess you know what I'm thinking about Bomjong." She said in a cold tone. Bomjong stood up slowly.

"We're supposed to take him with us anyway. Now we got the chance to take him without a problem and let's take that opportunity."

"Understood Ms. Park" he said blankly as he bow down to her command. He had done many unimaginable things for her. Why not do it once again for her. His heart was now made of stone and he can't feel any remorse in that moment and all he could is to do what he was supposed to do.

"You, help me take his clothes off." Bomjong said to one of his men, talking about Nunew, and the man did what he was told. "And you." He called the other who was checking the guy who was with Nunew. "Take off his clothes too"

The other guy was confused and couldn't understand what was happening. Bomjong sighs in frustration. He shouldn't take a newbie out here.

"Do what I told you before that car exploded along with you." He said and the man heard it go in panic and did what he was told to do.

In just a second they finish taking off both of their clothes. The other guy who striped Nunew stood up and immediately went to his colleague and handed the clothes.

"Put all of it immediately." He said.

Bomjong hurriedly knelt down in front of Nunew and took off his ring, earrings and emerald bracelet and handed it to the men to put it to the other guy.

They did all of that in a hurry. When the car starts to burn more they know they should hurry or it might explode and they'll be burn along with the car.

Within just a minute they successfully put all the clothes and all the accessories to the other guy.

When one of his men knew the car was about to explode they immediately ran away from it.

Then a loud explosion heard through out the place

They saw how the car burned along with the body of the guy they knew would be Nunew from now on. All of his family and friends would think that he is Nunew.

Bomjong looked down on Nunew who was still unconscious but now breathing. He immediately put the torn and blooded clothes to Nunew and cut a part of it to cover his bleeding head, but then he stops for a second when he realizes that he was still wearing a necklace.

Shit, he forgot something. He sigh in frustration and dissapointment.

"Bomjong hurry up or someone will see us." Seo hyung shouted.

He needs to calm down, no one would notice about it.

Bomjong leave the necklace and carry him immediately to the backseat.

"Where do we take him. He needs to be taken to a doctor Ms. Park or he might not survive with his wounds." As he faces Seo hyung.

"It's time for me to visit my old friend doctor, Bomjong. Let's take him there." She said before they went inside the car and so as his men who look back at the burning car first before they went inside there car, and without looking back again they went away from the place.

Minutes of drive they arrive in an isolated place. They came into a huge but old western house.

Seo hyung ring the doorbell and in a minute a servant went out.

"Who are you looking for ma'am, sir?" the manservant ask them.

"Tell Dr. Ivan Jones that his friend is looking for him. " The man about to talk and declined Seo hyung request, but the front door opens and a man looks older than Seo hyung came out.

"What are you doing here, Seo hyung?" He walk towards the gate and look at her in shock. He haven't seen her for ages.

"It's an urgent matter." She said and Dr. Jones frown in confusion.

When Bomjong opened the backseat to make him see what they came here for, the doctor gasp in shock to see a young lad full of blood.

"What happened here!" he ask immediately. But they stay silent.

"Seo hyung, who is this boy?"he ask again confusely

"My son." She replied and that makes him frown even more. He knows for sure Seo hyung never have a son.

"Are you kidding me Seo hyung? You-" he was about to say something when she cut him off.

"This is none of your business, Ivan. All you need to do is to save him." She said.

"But Seo hyung thi-" he talks again but cuts off once more but by Bomjong.

"No more asking Dr. Jones. Do what you must do to save him at any cost." Bomjong said as he took his gun in his waist and pointed it to the man.

"Just do it, Ivan. You've been a good doctor to me when I was still living here in Thailand, so do me a favor and help me once again." Seo hyung said. Dr. Jones sigh in defeat and look at the boy again.

"Take him inside immediately" Dr. Jones said before he walk back inside. He look at his manservant before he instructed him to ready the private operating room he had in his house.

Bomjong hurriedly carry Nunew and walk to the doctor's house and follow the doctor immediately.

They came inside a white room that full of every medical supplies.

"Place him in the operating table." The doctor said before he takes his stethoscope and check Nunew's heartbeat. He sigh in relief when he sees that he is still alive, but he needs to be hurry or the boy would lost to much blood and cause him to die.

The last thing he'll do is to not follow what Seo hyung request, and that is to save the boy in front of him.

He immediately put his gown before he turn and look at Seo hyung who was walking back and forth in the room looking at Nunew's situation every second she got.

"You need to step outside as this is an operation" Dr. Jones said.

"I'll stay here until I know he's fine."She replied in convection.

The doctor shook his head as he had expected her to say that to him.

He didn't say anything more and proceeded to what he was supposed to do. He is in a hurry and he can't waste time on arguing with someone like Seo hyung.

He immediately got ready and so as his manservant that's also his assistant. They put an oxygen and the heart monitor on him and injected him an anesthesia as they started to perform the operation and save the boy in the brink of death.

After an hour of operating finally Doctor Jones said that the boy is now safe, but they need to wait for him to wake up in twenty four or he might go into coma and they don't know when he would wake up.

And just as the doctor thought and predicted he didn't wake up after twenty four hours and doctor Jones immediately declared him comatose.

Seo hyung sighs deeply in sadness and disappointment as she look at the boy in front of her. The one that looks exactly like her son Song Rin.

"What are you gonna do now Seo hyung?" Jones ask as he looks at Seo hyung and his trusted man Bomjong back and forth.

Seo hyung had already think of a way already before the doctor ask her. She had been ready about this and no matter what he can't go back now.

"There's still a chance for him to wake up right?" She ask in hopefulness

"Yes there is, but we don't know when." He replied.

"Then that's enough answer for me." She said and the doctor was more confused. He had known that these things that happening, wasn't as simple as it is.

But all he could do is to accept her answers and not ask for more.

"Bomjong let's ready to take him back to Korea" she said and Bomjong nodded in response. Dr. Jones wanted to ask once more but Seo Hyung walked out of the room and took out her phone in the pocket as Bomjong stops him from asking again.

"You'll be paid multiple times for saving him Dr. Jones. As for your silence you will be compensated five times the amount and all of it would be put in your account today." Bomjong said in his serious tone.

"Five times for my silence?" He ask Bomjong in shocked. He knows for sure that everything he would get is a millions of baht and he didn't expected it.

And majority of all of that is for his silence?

"And so as your assistant Dr. Jones." Bomjong continue. "Anything that comes out from this room would be paid by your life." He said coldly making the two of them shiver in fear. Dr. Jones look down and nodded slowly understanding that nothing would comes out from his place no matter what happens.

"Do you understand." Bomjong's voice echoed as he ask Dr. Jones's assistant who nodded immediately in fear.

"Yes, sir. I understand." The man replied.

"Good.." then he looked at the doctor once again. "Dr. Jones we'll be needing a medical records and everything. So we won't have any problems on taking him out of the country." He said and the doctor nodded on agreement.

Before the midnight they had already leave the place and went directly to the airport.

They arrive there and with the help of Seo hyung's people and everyone she had contacted they didn't get any problems on taking Nunew to the private plane of their family and in an hour they've fly back to Korea with Nunew

Seo hyung thought, maybe his son had gone but there is the other one. She just hope that everything would turned out the way it was supposed to be.
