When she asked that question, her voice was hoarse, perhaps because of all that crying.

Although she didn’t push Xi Mubai away, she still refused to give him any answers and she allowed him to continue hugging her like she was a lifeless piece of wood.

“Luo Zheng, do you think... I’m not sober?” Xi Mubai asked with a wry smile as his heart sank.

He then continued softly, “I know... what I’m talking about... and I also know... that you’re Luo Zheng...”

If she weren’t Luo Zheng, he would have long left.

Perhaps, this was the only time that Xi Mubai had no choice but to admit... that he had fallen for Luo Zheng unknowingly, even though he had tried to push her away in the past.
