Back to the present

Janvi realised that birds were chirping... That means it was early morning...But Janvi was too afraid to look around...She tightened the hold on herself...She was cold but she couldn't help herself now in this situation....She buried her head more into her knees...She had to suffer...

"SO, HERE YOU ARE ..."

Janvi's grip on herself became harder hearing the cold voice....Her heart started to beat rapidly....

"DIDN'T I TELL YOU TO TAKE THE RIGHT WAY...?

He asked rudely and anyone could feel the anger behind his voice...

"LOOK UP, DAMN IT...."

Arjun roared and that made Janvi shivered in fear....She raised her head slowly and looked at him....

Tears were booming from her eyes...She was feeling many emotions together...She didn't know how to react which made her cry...

Arjun tried to be calm looking at her face...Her eyes ,nose,cheeks everything was red... Her eyes become puffy from crying for a long time...

He knows all this chaos was new for her....She doesn't know about her family involved in the Mafia...

But she has to be a little more wise....He did all the arrangements before this mission...He arranged her safety before taking any action against his rivals...

When he was informed that Janvi didn't reach out to his men then he immediately left the operation area...He and his men were searching the whole forest for hours...

He was never ever that worried for anyone... passing each and every minute he was becoming crazy....He didn't want to imagine anything bad about her....

After almost four hours of searching when he saw her ,he felt relieved as a thirsty person felt after drinking water being thirsty for hours...

How irresponsible she is!... Anything bad or worse could happen with her...But she has to disobey every time...He felt a burning rage inside...He tried to act calm but couldn't control it for a long time and shouted at her...

Arjun took a deep breath and ran his hand through his hair...He informed his men that he found Janvi through sms...

"GET UP..."

Arjun asked Janvi to get up as they needed to leave as soon as possible...

Janvi tried to get up...when she put her weight on her legs, she hissed in pain and sat down on the ground again...

"WHAT HAPPENED?...."

Arjun sat down infront of Janvi and scanned her fully but didn't find any injury....He then pulled her legs towards him and lifted her saree upward...Then her blood stained feet came to his view...He took her blood stained leg in his hand to find out the reason behind that blood...It still has some thorns and they were deep inside her flesh...The blood dried long ago...

Arjun realised that she didn't have any footwear when they left the wooden house and she couldn't see well in the dark and stepped on those thorns...

Janvi removed her legs from Arjun's hold and covered her legs properly...

"It's fi--fine now..."

Janvi meekly told Arjun...Janvi rubbed her hand on her arms to provide some heat...

"YEAH....I CAN SEE HOW FINE IT IS..."

Arjun removed his jacket and wrapped it around Janvi's body...Then without any warning Arjun scooped up Janvi in his arms... Janvi flinched and grabbed Arjun's shirt tightly in a reflex...She didn't say anything as she was tired of everything....She let him take her wherever he wants...

Arjun had to carry Janvi for almost 1 hour to reach the highway, where his men were waiting for them with cars...

He carefully made her sit in the backseat of his car and then he sat beside her...

"BRING SOME WATER..."

Arjun asked his men to bring water for Janvi...One of his men came with a water bottle... Arjun took the bottle and opened the cap....Then he offered the bottle to Janvi.... Janvi took the bottle with her shivering hands and emptied the water bottle within sometime...

"WANT SOME MORE WATER?..."

Arjun asked while taking the empty bottle... Janvi nodded her head in the negative...

"WORDS..."

Arjun asked sternly which made Janvi reply immediately...

"N--Noo..."

Arjun nodded and asked his men to drive them to the hospital...

Arjun was busy on his phone while Janvi looked outside at the jungle which made her remember about last night...She started to breathe heavily and unknowingly started to twist her fingers which were on her lap...

She came back to reality when she felt someone grab her knees firmly...She immediately looked at the owner of the hand...

"STOP DOING THAT..."

Arjun had an annoying look... Janvi was looking at him confusedly...

"W-w-what?..."

Janvi didn't have any idea what Arjun was talking about...

"STOP SHAKING YOUR LEGS..."

Janvi realised that her antics made him annoyed..

"S-s-sor-ry....I didn't know what I was d--doing.."

Arjun nodded his head but didn't remove his hand from Janvi's knees.... Janvi couldn't ask him to remove his hand either....His hand was giving her foreign feelings which she was unable to understand...

It was so painful when the nurse was removing the thorns...The nurse made Janvi cry in pain...

"IT'S JUST 3/4 THORNS...YOU CAN'T EVEN REMOVE THEM GENTLY....HOW DID YOU GET THIS JOB?...

Arjun scolded the nurse and the nurse gulped down her saliva....

"WHAT WILL YOU DO IF ANYONE COME HERE WITH A BIG CUT OR INJURY?

Arjun's loud voice made the nurse tremble in fear...

"So-sorry siii-r....It won't happen a-again..."

The nurse was too scared to talk infront of Angry Arjun...

"YOU WON'T HAVE THE NEXT CHANCE...GET OUT FROM MY HOSPITAL BEFORE I CHANGE MY MIND AND DO SOMETHING WORST TO YOU..."

The nurse ran from there as she didn't want to make him more angry....Janvi was shocked to know that Arjun was the owner of this hospital...

"ASKED ANY SURGEON TO COME HERE IMMEDIATELY...."

One of Arjun's men ran to call a surgeon... Janvi's eyes widened in surprise...

"We don't need the surgeon fo--for this.."

Arjun gave her a "shut your mouth " look and Janvi kept her mouth shut...

The surgeon removed the thorns and Arjun asked him to bandage Janvi's feet...The surgeon did his job and left the room...Arjun gave Janvi's breakfast and made her finish the whole plate...

Again, Arjun scooped up Janvi in his arms and made her sit in the car backseat but that time he didn't get in the car....

"MUSA, DROP HER TO HER HOUSE..."

Without saying anything Arjun got into another car and left from there....Janvi was looking at him relentlessly until his car was out of her view...She is feeling empty....

Musa helped her to get inside the house...Janvi thanked him for his help....Her Mansi Di helped to reach her room....

At that time everyone was out of the house and for that Janvi was thankful...

Mansi Di was very worried for her as her phone was not reachable....She asked a lot of questions to Janvi if Arjun hurt her or not as she saw her rashes on her neck... Janvi told her everything and also told her that Arjun saved her from being shot...

Mansi left the room and asked her to rest.... Janvi was feeling restless... Arjun didn't even say a bye to her ....He didn't even glance at her for the last time.... Thinking about Arjun she drifted into sleep....

At night Janvi couldn't sleep.... She got flashbacks from last night whenever she closed her eyes....Guns and bloods make her feel nausea....She always frightened violence...Now those are going to be a daily part of her life...

She was going to ask Mansi Di to stay with her but she couldn't when Mansi told her about her project which needs to be done by tomorrow...She didn't want to bother her....

She thought not to sleep tonight....She will pass the night somehow then she will try to sleep in the morning....She didn't have her phone with her...She forgot to ask Arjun about her phone...Now what will she do?...

She thought to spend sometimes in the balcony....She sat there for hours and stared at the stars...At that time there was no moon but the sky was full of stars...

She felt some noises but didn't get what kind of noise those were....She was too afraid to look for the source of the noises...She hurriedly got up and was about to leave the balcony but suddenly someone jumped on the balcony...That was male but she couldn't see his face because of his black mask which was covering his face fully...

When Janvi was about to scream that person immediately pressed his palm on her mouth and pinned her against the balcony door....
