Chapter 25

Author's Pov:-

"I'm alright. Also you guys have to be grateful for Akshara. She's the one who saved me from getting hit" Stated samaira, her tone steady.

Making dhruv look in her direction.

"Yes, I totally forgot to ask about her. Tell me, Did you invite her to riya's engagement? I want to meet her. We're very grateful for her." Stated mahima, nodding her head.

"Yeah I did!" Replied samaira, offering a smile.

All of them nodded their heads in response.

"So, Tomorrow I'll see her." Thought Dhruv, thinking about something. His expression softened. Which didn't go unnoticed by pranav and Aryan.

"Dude! Look at Dhruv" Whispered pranav while nudging his shoulder.

Just to earn a glare from Aryan in response. "God blessed me with two eyes, I can see that" Replied Aryan, his tone laced with sarcasm.

"Just in case, If you didn't observe" Stated pranav, offering a innocent smile. Making Aryan roll his eyes in response.

"Alright, Let's go everyone. It's time for dinner already, Also Tomorrow it's rajvansh and riya's engagement. We have to wake up early tomorrow." Announced suguna, grabbing everyone's attention.

All of them exchanged glances and nodded their heads in response.

"Yeah, That's true. Let's head to the dining area." Stated Veerendra, walking towards the dining hall.

All of them started following suit.

While Aryan, Advik, Rajvansh, exchanged some knowing glances. As if they are communicating something with their eyes.

"Meet up at garden after dinner" Announced Aryan, glancing at rajvansh, advik. His voice above a whisper. his tone cold and demanding.

Rajvansh and Advik nodded their heads in response. Their expression reflecting Aryan's.

"Maa, I'll join you guys shortly. I got a call from my assistant, I'm should take this one" Stated pranav glancing at his phone.

"Okay, Be quick" Stated pragati, while joining the others.

"Hey! Samaira come with me." Whispered kiara dragging samaira along with her to a corner. While the others made their way towards the dining hall.

Frowning, Samaira followed kiara.

"What?" Questioned samaira, glancing at kiara. Her tone steady.

"Yo! Atleast you should have called me! I would have come to pick you up! And would have able to meet Akshara" Replied kiara, folding her arms across her chest. Her tone demanding.

With a sigh, samaira stated, "I'm sorry babe. It's just that my brain isn't functioning properly. I'll inform it, when I'll again meet with an accident okay?" Her tone playful yet calm.

"Shut up! Dare to say that again and I'll kidnap you!" Exclaims kiara at her playful words. Her tone firm.

Prompting a chuckle from samaira followed by kiara.

"Alright now tell me, What happened with Akshara? Questioned kiara, glancing at samaira. Her tone serious.

"I invited her to Rajvansh bhai's engagement, I'm not sure if she'll attend it. I just hope that she attends, so that I can introduce her to everyone" Replied samaira, her tone steady.

Nodding her head, kiara stated, "Let's see. Now tell me, What happened with Aryan?" Her tone serious. Making samaira groan.

"Dude! Stop it. What will happen with him? Nothing! Let's go. I'm hungry already" Replied samaira, not meeting her gaze. Her tone stammering.

Kiara narrowed her eyes, still not believing samaira's words. Maki to samaira sigh. "Alright, Listen" Saying this, samaira everything that happened earlier.

Kiara's eyes widened in surprise, "What? Like he lifted you and what? Threatened to make you sit in his lap? Woah that's awesome! " Exclaims  kiara, her tone laced with astonishment.

"Awesome? Huh!" Scoffs samaira, making a face. Her tone laced with disbelief.

"I mean-" Kiara was about to say something but dhruv interrupts.

"Kiara & Samaira, All are waiting for you. Let's go" Stated Dhruv with his usual straight face, his tone gentle.

"Uh- We're coming bhai" Replied samaira, while dragging kiara along with her.

"Uhm- Samaira" Calls out dhruv, turning towards samaira.

Kiara and samaira stops in their track and turn towards him. Their brows furrowed in confusion.

"Uhm- I need to ask something" Spoke Dhruv glancing at samaira, his tone hesitant.

Observing his hesitation, Kiara says, "Samaira, I'm going. Both of you continue" Saying this, Kiara left leaving them alone.

Watching her leave, Samaira spoke, "Yes bhai, What do you want to ask?" Her tone laced with confusion.

"Uhm- You said you met someone today right? Her name's Akshara right?" Questioned Dhruv, his tone hesitant.

Samaira raising her brows, replied, "Oh yes bhai, Her name is Akshara."

"Also the exact place you met her?" Presses dhruv, his tone steady.

"There's a cafe near my office. The name of the cafe is ****." Replied samaira causally.

"But why do you want to ask that? Do you know akshara bhai? Added samaira observing him thinking about something. Her brows knitted together.

His features softened,  "Uh- No, I've also seen her on the roof top with you guys on that day. So, I've been just curious about her" Replied dhruv, observing her being suspicious.

Samaira made a 'O' face hearing his excuse. "Alright! Do you have any more questions bhai?" Stated samaira, glancing at dhruv, who is lost in thought.

Coming out of his trance, Dhruv replied, "No, Also you're okay right? You didn't get any injuries right?" His tone laced with concern.

Observing his concern, Samaira spoke, "Dhruv bhai, I'm completely fine. There's no need to worry about me" Her tone assuring.

Nodding his head, He spoke, "Alright samaira, You go on. I'll join you guys shortly" His tone gentle.

Nodding her head, Samaira about to leave but her phone buzzed.

Pulling her phone out of the pocket, her brows furrowed looking at the caller I'd.

"Alright bhai, I'm going to take this" Saying this, samaira made her way towards the garden to attend the call.

Dhruv nodded his head in response.

Watching her leave, he thought, "Akshara sharma. I'm waiting to meet you" Thought dhruv, his expression softened.

Thinking about something, Dhruv pulled out his phone out of his pocket and texted something on his phone.

After sometime, Dhruv headed straight towards the dining table.

Upon reaching the dining table, he was met with a sight of his family members discussing about the event that is going to held the following day.

He settled in a empty beside Aryan.

"Also, Advik already booked a venue yesterday for engagement. I'm sure the decorations must've been completed" Stated vijay, glancing at Veerendra. His tone steady.

"That's good. Also Aryan, What about the arrangements? You settled all the things right?" Questioned Veerendra, glancing at Aryan.

"Yes papa, I've already settled the arrangements. Don't worry about it." Replied Aryan, nodding his head. His tone calm.

Veerendra nodded his head in response.

"By the way, Where's samaira?" Questioned kavitha, glancing around.

"Uh- She got a call to attend dadi ji" Replied dhruv, glancing at kavitha. His tone steady.

"Here she is" Spoke Kiara, observing samaira coming towards them.

Only two seats are left. Which is beside Aryan and kiara.

Glancing at the unoccupied seats, Samaira decided to sit beside Kiara.

She was about to walk towards Kiara but pranav sprints and settled beside Kiara.

Grabbing everyone's attention. All of them shifted their gaze towards pranav and kiara.

Kiara made a face, "Pranav ke bacche, Samaira will sit beside me. Go and sit beside Aryan bhai" Stated kiara, glancing at pranav. Her tone laced with irritation.

Flashing a playful grin, He retorts, "Oho, I'm bored sticking around him. Let me sit beside you. I swear I'm a good company" While winking playfully at kiara, making her more irritated.

While the others chuckled at his antics.

Pranav secretly winked at Aryan, making him suppress a playful smile threatening to form on his lips.

Having no option left, Samaira made her towards the empty seat towards Aryan.

Settling at the empty seat, she glances at Aryan, who is already staring at her since she arrived.

Averting her gaze, she started eating not wanting to meet his burning stare.

A smirk spread across his lips, observing samaira.

"He's smirking at me? Huh?" Thought samaira, stealing a quick look at him.

The elders engaged in discussion about the wedding rituals and all. While Rajvansh and Riya secretly held hands beneath the table as they are sitting beside each other.

"Rajvansh, Leave my hand. Someone will observe" Whispered Riya, trying to get out of his strong grip.

"Let them be, I don't care about it, since you're going to be my wife" Replied rajvansh, glancing at riya, who is blushing like a mess. His tone a bare whisper.

Samaira observing their whispers, peeked under the table, only to found them holding hands.

With a mischievous thought, Samaira signalled kiara, indicating her to look under the table. Furrowing her brows, kiara peeked under the table and riya and rajvansh holding hands.

Straightening her back, kiara nudged pranav's shoulder and whispered, "Hey, Look under the table" Her tone low.

Following her signal, He peeked under the table. A playful smirk formed on his lips. He signalled Aryan, Advik, dhruv to do the same.

Following his signal, They peeked under the table and found riya and rajvansh holding hands under the table.

A mischievous smile spread across Advik's face. While Aryan and Dhruv shook their heads with a small smile.

Samaira, Advik, Pranav, Kiara exchanged playful glances. Signalling something with their eyes.

Clearing her throat, Samaira stated, "Um- Rajvansh bhai! Can you please pass me that tissue?" Spoke samaira, her tone laced with a playful glint.

Rajvansh was about to pass the tissues to samaira but kiara interrupts.

"Samaira! Lemme pass that to you. Cause Rajvansh bhai's busy with something very important, Here take this" Retorts kiara, handing the tissues to samaira. Her tone playful yet steady.

"Yeah, Ask me if you need anything. Rajvansh bhai is holding something precious in his hand. Don't disturb him" Added Advik, glancing at Rajvansh. Who is shooting sharp glares at him.

All of the elders exchanged confused glances at Advik's statement.

Samaira, kiara, Advik, Pranav suppressed their laughter looking at riya, who is glaring hard at rajvansh.

Rajvansh made a innocent face in response. As if he isn't doing anything.

"What do you mean by holding something precious? It's just a spoon in his hand right?" Questioned mahima, her tone laced with confusion.

"Yeah, Just a spoon right? What's so special about it? I don't see anything special on it" Added suguna, glancing at advik. Her tone reflecting mahima's tone.

"There's something special about it aunty, but not the spoon, but something else" Spoke pranav, glancing at rajvansh. His tone playful.

"I don't understand anything about this children talks, Better not to interfere" Spoke nalini, focusing back on her plate.

Everyone erupted into chuckles at the light-hearted conversation.

"Seems like Rajvansh is having his best time. I can see that" Whispered pranav, glancing at kiara. His tone low.

"I don't know, When is my time? Oh god bless me" Added pranav dramatically, glancing at kiara.

Kiara rolled her eyes in response.

Everyone finished their dinner and gathered at the living room. While Aryan, Rajvansh, Advik made their way towards the garden.

"I informed my personal hacker about the driver of the truck, Who was about to hit samaira. I'll get his details in ten minutes" Stated Rajvansh, his tone serious.

"I'm sure, I'm not going to leave him. His name is enough for me to sue him" Stated Advik, his tone laced with fury.

Glancing at them, Aryan spoke, "I've already informed my hacker to work on that, I'm not going to leave him." His tone laced with pure rage.

"I've already got his information" A voice is heard in the background, Three of them turns to see the source of voice and found dhruv coming towards them.

"He's drunk, when he was driving the truck also the truck was in a bad condition with failed brakes. The location he was about to hit samaira was, A cafe near samaira's company" Announced Dhruv, his tone steady.

Three of them exchanged glances, "How do you know that?" Asked Advik, His tone laced with confusion.

"I've asked samaira about the location and checked the cctv of that road according to the information from her" Replied Dhruv, showing a recording to the others.

"You did a great job dhruv. Thanks" Stated Rajvansh, his features softened.

"She's my sister too. Of course, I have the responsibility to look after her" Replied Dhruv offering a smile.

Three of them smile at his words.

Pulling his phone out of his pocket, Aryan dialled someone's number. At the first ring the person picks up.

"Check the cctv footage of a cafe near 'SA' industries. I want full information of the person, who's driving the truck" Spoke Aryan, his tone laced with authority.

He hung up the call without listening to the person on the line.

"Message me his details afterwards" Stated Advik, glancing at Aryan. His tone serious.

Aryan nodded his head in response.

"You guys are here? What ya'll have been discussing without me? I've been searching for you guys" Stated pranav, coming towards them.

"Nothing, just getting some information about someone" Replied Rajvansh, glancing at pranav. His tone casual.

"Oh that's cool, By the way, Mahima aunty's calling you guys to discuss about something" Spoke pranav casually, pointing at rajvansh and advik.

"Oh then, We're going. You guys continue" Spoke rajvansh, his tone steady.

Rajvansh and Advik left leaving Aryan, pranav and dhruv alone.

Watching them leave, Aryan questioned, "So, Tell me. What did you ask samaira?" While raising his brows, His tone steady.

"Dude calm down, I just casually asked something. She's my sister, As her brother, I'm just looking out for her" Replied Dhruv, glancing at Aryan. His tone steady.

"Also brother, You're making it too obvious, Control it" Added Dhruv glancing at Aryan, his tone playful.

Aryan's brows furrowed in confusion followed by pranav's.

"What do you mean by that?" Questioned Aryan, maintaining his emotions.

With a sigh, Dhruv replied, "I already knew everything dude. I know you like samaira" He replied, his tone casual.

Pranav's eyes went wide, "Woah! That's insane!!! How do you know that? I never revealed anything in front of you? How?" Questioned pranav, his tone laced with disbelief.

Aryan stood with his usual face, as if he isn't shocked to hear that from him.

"Remember, we visited a amusement park? On that day, I followed you since you took time calling them. I saw samaira confessing her feelings to Aryan, but our dude being cold, gave her a cold shoulder even though he secretly likes her."

"I don't know what happened in the meantime, that made samaira leave for New York and returning after whole six years" Added Dhruv glancing at Aryan. Who stood still, lost in thought.

"It's my fault that she left for New York and I'm going to fix that" Stated Aryan with a determined look.

Dhruv looks confused for a second but nods his head.

Observing his expression, "That's a long story to explain. Anyhow, Now that you know, I don't have to worry about covering him! " Exclaims pranav with a wide grin.

"About you and kiara? Why are you always hitting on her? I'm sure she's going to push you from 23rd floor, if you are going to do this things" Stated dhruv, folding his arms across his chest. His tone playful.

Pranav gasped in disbelief, "You! You're prying into my personal life! Have some shame to look into others life" Exclaims pranav covering his self, with a dramatic expression.

Making Aryan and Dhruv slap their foreheads in response.

"You're never going to change" Stated Aryan glancing at pranav, who's being dramatic.

"Whatever" Retorts pranav with a grin.
