Chapter 27

Author's pov:-

"Arey Advik bhai isn't here yet? Do you know why?" Inquired kiara, glancing around.

"Oh yeah, Maa sent him to order some gifts or something. I guess he'll be here soon." Replied samaira, glancing at her phone.

Kiara made a 'O' face.

Then suddenly, "Advik bhai's here" Says kiara, glancing at the exit.

Samaira gaze followed her gaze and found Advik entering the hall.

"Yeah he is here. Maybe he completed the task assigned by mom" Spoke samaira, still scrolling through her phone.

Advik's outfit:-

Advik entered the hall with his usual bright and enthusiastic smile, his presence radiated confidence and elegance grabbing everyone's attention in the hall.

"Hey guys! Hello, I'm here!" Exclaims Advik, grabbing a chair beside Dhruv.

"Where were you until now? Got a work?" Questions Pranav, glancing at Advik.

"Uhm- Badi maa wants me to order some gifts for guests and also I had a personal task to complete" Replied Advik, comfortably settling on the chair.

Pranav nodded his head in response.

"By the way, We always sit with samaira and kiara right? Why are you guys sitting separately now?" Questioned Advik, glancing at Aryan, pranav and dhruv.

Three of them exchanged glances, "Yeah! Let's go! I don't feel comfortable here either" Replied pranav quickly. His tone laced with excitement.

Saying this, Pranav made his way towards samaira's table followed siut Aryan.

"You're not joining us?" Inquired Advik, glancing at dhruv, who is still seated in the chair.

Dhruv was about to reason out but he stops, when he heard samaira's words.

"Hey Akshara's here!" Exclaims samaira, glancing at the exit. Her tone tone laced with excitement.

Making all of them look in her direction.

Samaira quickly made her way towards Akshara.

"Hey! I'm coming too! Wait!" Saying this, kiara followed samaira.

Dhruv frooze in his place looking at Akshara. No words came out of his mouth.

He felt some unknown connection spark within him. His heartbeat fastened glancing at the beauty infront of him. His gaze never leaving her innocent face.

"If she's anything, Then she's an angel who is born for me, just for me." Thought dhruv, his features softened.

Akshara dressed up in a long mint-green frock-style anarkali suit with a satin velvet duppata. She completed her look with minimal make-up and some matching accessories.

Akshara's outfit:-

Samaira waved at Akshara, who is still nervously looking around.

A broad smile spread across Akshara's face glancing at samaira. Who is coming towards her.

Dhruv's heart skipped a beat glancing at her heartwarming smile.

"Akshara you are here! I was waiting for you to arrive!" Stated samaira, a broad smile adorning her face. Making Aryan get lost in her smile.

"Uhm- Thanks. I'm glad to meet you again." Says akshara, glancing at samaira.

"Wait! I'm here too! Let me introduce myself, I'm kiara bedi also your friend from now on!" Chims in kiara, offering a bright smile.

"Hello! I'm akshara sharma, also I'm happy being your friend. Thanks for having me" Replied akshara, offering a bright smile.

Three of them started chatting while standing at the entrance.

"Oh so, She's Akshara. The one who saved my sister" Mutters advik, glancing at akshara.

Dhruv came out of his trance and glanced at Advik.

"Alright, If you're uncomfortable, Stay here, I'm going to sit with them" Saying this, Advik was about to move but dhruv grabs his arms, making him startled.

"I was about to say that, I'm not comfortable either! I'm going to sit there" Saying this, Dhruv quickly made his way towards samaira's table.

"Gosh! He needs to grab my arm for this? I don't know what happened with this people! Weird" Mutters advik, dusting off his arm.

Advik made his way towards samaira's table and was about to sit on a empty chair which is beside kiara's seat.

"Hey move aside, I need to sit here" Says Pranav, settling on the seat before advik can sit.

"Dude there are so many empty chairs, but still you want to sit in my place?" Questions advik, glancing at pranav, his tone laced with frustration.

Suddenly pranav started searching something on the chair.

Advik's brows furrowed, "What are you searching for?" Questions Advik, glancing at pranav, who is still searching.

"Oh you said, It's your place right? So Just in case, I'm searching, if there's your name on the chair." Replied pranav casually, his tone laced with sarcasm.

Taking a deep breath, Advik spoke, "Shut the hell up. I'm going! You sit in this chair and also die with that chair"  Exclaims advik, utterly frustrated by pranav.

A chuckle escaped pranav's lips glancing at frustrated Advik.

"Alright, I'll sit here" Saying this, He was about to drag a empty chair, which is beside Samaira's chair.

But he stops abruptly, glancing at Aryan. Who was about to drag the chair too.

Aryan stood folding his arms across his chest, glaring at him.

"What happened? Why are you staring at me? I was just about to sit here!" Stated Advik with a done expression.

"I want to sit here" Says Aryan casually and before advik could reply, he settled on the chair.

A scoff escaped Advik's lips.

"Ajeeb log (weird people)" Murmurs Advik before going towards another seat.

Settling on the seat, Advik spoke, "Finally, I got a seat. I'm tired of this people" Before he could say further, he glanced at dhruv and found him staring at him.

"Dude, Do I look too handsome that you guys are always staring me?" Stated advik with a confused expression.

Dhruv doesn't respond but still stares at him, making him groan.

"Fine you want this seat right? Here sit and have dinner with it" Saying this, Advik rose up from his seat and sat beside pranav, which is on pranav's left.

"Alright! She's standing since she arrived. Let's go and sit, Also I'll introduce you to my all family members" Says samaira, offering a warm smile.

"Yeah! Let's go" Added kiara, her tone laced with excitement.

Akshara nodded her head offering a wide smile.

Three of them made their way towards the empty chairs.

"Hello!" Spoke pranav, waving his hand at akshara.

"Hello, I'm akshara" Replied akshara, offering a polite yet nervous smile.

"You guys are here? You guys were sitting there right?" Says samaira pointing at the previous table, they sat.

"Just like that. Seems like the chairs had some malfunction, it's not comfortable to sit" Replied pranav casually.

Samaira and kiara exchanged glances and samaira spoke, "Alright then, You go and sit beside Dhruv bhai, Cause we three are going to sit together!" Declares samaira, her tone demanding.

Aryan, Dhruv, Pranav exchanged glances.

"But- but" Before pranav could continue, kiara interrupts.

"That's final" Declares kiara, her tone laced with authority.

A defeat sigh escaped pranav's lips as he made his way towards the empty seat beside dhruv.

"Akshara come here!" Says samaira tapping on the chair beside her.

With a hesitant smile, Akshara settled on the chair beside samaira.

"Shit! I thought, I could sit with kiara" Spoke pranav, his tone laced with utter frustration. His tone low.

Aryan, Dhruv exchanged glances.

"It's okay, Sit beside me" Replied dhruv with a playful smile.

"Shut the hell up dude! I don't to hear nonsense right now" Snaps pranav barely controlling his tone.

"That's what you spout, when you are with me" Retorts dhruv, his tone laced with sarcasm.

"Whatever" Replied pranav with a nonchalant look.

"Stop fighting guys" Says Aryan staring at them.

Pranav, Dhruv became silent, feeling Aryan's burning gaze on them.

"Akshara you remember us right? On that day on terrace, we were there too" Spoke Advik, grabbing their attention.

Aryan, Pranav, Dhruv shifted their gaze towards them.

"Yeah. Even I couldn't remember your faces clearly, I can still recognize you" Replied akshara, glancing at everyone.

Dhruv's gaze is still fixed on her, his eyes scanning all her features.

"I'm sorry to ask but I observed that, on that day, You were not wearing the same uniform as samaira and kiara, So, I got a doubt that you're not from our college right?" Questions advik, glancing at akshara, who is listening to him attentively.

Glancing at samaira, Akshara replied, "Yes, I am not from your college. I'm from a different college. I had a reason to visit your college" Her tone low yet audible to others.

Dhruv listened to her every word attentively.

"Alright. I don't need to know that reason cause my sister is already staring draggers at me" Jokes Advik, trying to enlight the atmosphere.

Everyone burst into a fit of laughter at his statement.

"Alright! Akshara, We didn't introduce you to anyone right? This is our group, we were friends since childhood." Stated kiara, glancing at akshara.

Akshara nodded her head in response.

"This is pranav, Aryan bhai, Advik bhai and lastly Dhruv bhai" Stated Kiara, pointing at everyone.

Pranav and Advik flashed smiles, when Kiara was introduced them. while Aryan and dhruv still remains their straight faces.

When akshara's soft gaze met Dhruv's intense gaze, she felt her heart skip a beat. His eyes never leaving her eyes since they met.

His expression was determined and something deeper, making her heart race.

"Same eyes" Thought akshara nervously averting her gaze away from him.

A smirk appears on Dhruv's face glancing at Akshara's flushed face.

"Alright! Now you know them, Let me introduce you to my mother, she'll be grateful to meet you" Says samaira, her tone laced with enthusiasm.

Akshara nodded her response, her expression laced with excitement and joy.

"Let's go" Saying this kiara, akshara and samaira made their way towards mahima and the elders.

Advik's phone buzzed, making him excuse himself.

"Samaira and Kiara are joyful, I can see it in their faces" Spoke pranav, glancing at the three of them.

Aryan nodded his head in agreement, his eyes never leaving samaira.

"Even Akshara's happy too" Murmurs Dhruv, his eyes still on akshara, his tone low.

Yet Aryan and pranav hears it.

"Alright! Now I have a question for Mr. Dhruv singh rathore" Stated Pranav, his tone dramatic.

"What is that?" Questions Dhruv, his tone sarcastic.

Glancing at Aryan, pranav spoke, "Let me straight get to the point"

"You like Akshara right?" Says pranav glancing at dhruv.

Dhruv frooze and glanced at Pranav.

"Apun ko answer chahiye. Tumhara stare nahi (I want answer not the stare)" Spoke pranav, his tone demanding.

With a sigh, Dhruv replied, "Why do you want to know that?" He questions.

"Just in case" Spoke pranav.

Dhruv remains silent and didn't say anything on this.

"I'm taking your silence as a yes, but why? You've just met her right?" Questions pranav.

Aryan glanced at both of them.

"Don't ask me anything now" Says dhruv simply.

"Alright, I'll ask you tomorrow then" Replied pranav, his tone sarcastic.

Aryan shook his head observing both of them.

"Maa, This is Akshara. My friend" Introduces samaira, dragging akshara along with her.

Akshara being nervous, spoke, "Namaste aunty, I'm Akshara" Her tone nervous yet gentle.

"Namaste beta, I'm samaira's mother, Also thanks for saving my daughter. We're very grateful to you. Thanks a lot" Says mahima offering a warm smile.

"Yeah, Thanks Akshara beta. You didn't only save a life but the happiness of this house" Added Vijay. His tone gentle.

"You don't need to thank me for this uncle, aunty. Actually, I'm thankful to samaira for something, I couldn't forget it." Says Akshara, glancing at samaira and kiara.

A smile spread across everyone's faces hearing her statment.

"Akshara. You have a lovely name along with a kind personality" Says suguna grabbing akshara's attention.

"Thanks aunty" Responds akshara glancing at suguna.

"Wait! Let me introduce everyone to you" Saying this samaira introduced everyone to akshara.

"Namaste everyone!" Says akshara, offering a bright smile.

Everyone greeted her back, offering a warm smile.

"Alright! I'm gonna take her to Riya bhabhi, byee" Saying this samaira dragged akshara with her onto the stage. Kiara followed them with the same excitement.

Watching them leave, sobitha spoke, "Akshara's really polite and kind"

"Yeah I like her, She's pretty too" Added suguna still glancing at  Akshara, who is chatting with riya happily.

After some moments, Samaira, Kiara and akshara returned to their respective places.

"Alright, the auspicious moment has arrived, which means it's time for the rings exchange." Stated mahima.

"Yeah! Let's go." Saying this sobitha and mahima climbed onto the stage with some boxes.

The atmosphere was filled with anticipation as everyone's attention lingered on them. Their faces glowing with excitement.

"Finally my brother's getting engaged" Mutters samaira, her tone filled with warmth and affection.

Soft music played in the background, setting a romantic tone. Riya and Rajvansh stood at the center. Their smiles radiating happiness.

As the moment approached, the guests fell silent, and all eyes turned towards the couple.

"Rajvansh beta, here take this" Spoke mahima, handing him a small box.

"Riya, Here" Spoke sobitha, handing her a small box.

Both riya and rajvansh looked into each other's eyes, filled with love and sincerity.

Rajvansh took her plam into his and slipped the ring onto her finger.

Cheers erupted from the crowd, and riya beamed with happiness, her eyes sparkling with warmth and love.

Riya followed suit and slipped the ring onto his finger.

The crowd once again erupted into cheers and applause. Sobitha and mahima did a friendly hug, unable to contain their happiness.

"My brother's engaged woah!!!" Exclaims samaira beaming with happiness, Making Aryan smile at her.

"Finally he's engaged. My friend's getting married, I hope he have a long life waiting for him. " Spoke pranav while wiping his fake tears. His tone dramatic.

"You're talking like as if you're his ex, who got a invitation for his wedding" Stated Advik, making a face.

The group erupted into a fit of laughter including Akshara.

These are the moments that needs to be cherished.

We find happiness in these little things, so cherish every moment with your loved one.
