Chapter 28

Author's Pov:-

"Akshara! Samaira! Let's go for a walk, I'm getting bored sitting here" Stated kiara, grabbing everyone's attention.

"Yeah! Let's do that! The rings are exchanged right. Also, The photoshoot is going on. So let's go" Says samaira, glancing at akshara.

"Alright then, Let's go" Saying this, The trio started to leave from there.

"Kiara, Do you want me to accompany you?" Spoke pranav with a teasing yet sincere smile.

"No thanks, please accompany your friends instead" Replied kiara glancing back at him.

"Alright as you say" Retorts pranav with a playful grin.

Kiara rolled her eyes in response.

"You both fight later! Kiara join us" Stated samaira, dragging Kiara along with her.

Akshara follows with a chuckle.

Dhruv stares her with a smile.

"Dhruv! Kya dant faad ke has raha hai! Wapas aao apni duniya se. Kya ghor rahe ho? (Come back to this world, what are you staring at?)" Spits  pranav, waving his hand in a dramatic way.

Rolling his eyes, dhruv replied, "Tujhe kya fark padta hai? (Why does it matter to you?) There's a sentence called 'Mind apna wala business' Do that. Instead of bothering me" Snaps dhruv with a frown. His tone laced with frustration.

Aryan and Advik exchanged glances.

"Yaar! I can't understand a single thing! Somebody please take god's blessings by explaining it to me" Chims in Advik, utterly confused by their banter.

A sigh escaped Aryan's lips observing them.

"Guys, This is the last time, I'm asking you to be quiet." Announced Aryan, glaring at them.

Advik, Dhruv fell silent hearing his statement.

While pranav dramatically zips his mouth.

Earning silent chuckles from Advik and Dhruv.

Dhruv's phone buzzed, grabbing their attention.

Watching the caller I'd, Dhruv spoke, "I'll be right back" Saying this, Dhruv excused himself from there.

Three of them nodded their heads in response.

Exiting the hall, he walks towards a corner, "Yes, I'm Dhruv. Oh yeah, I'll send you the details" Spoke dhruv with the person on the other line.

Dhruv was typing something on his phone, his attention shifted Akshara, samaira and kiara. Who are strolling and chatting continuously, unfazed by the surroundings.

Three of them started walking towards dhruv's direction, unaware of him.

"I don't know what they even talk about. They just met right? They're behaving like they are long lost friends" Thought dhruv, a smile remains on his face observing akshara's smile.

"Also, I've never thought that, I'll meet you guys." Spoke akshara, glancing at samaira and kiara.

She turns around and starts back walking in a playful manner.

"Yo Akshara, Make sure you don't bump into anyone cause I already experienced it" Stated kiara, observing her antics.

A chuckle escaped samaira's lips.

"Yo, Stop it. Things like that only happens in books" Replies Samaira with teasing smile.

"Yeah, I know it also, Don't worry. I won't bump into anyone" Added akshara with a chuckle.

Suddenly kiara and samaira halts and their eyes widened in utter astonishment.

Akshara unfazed, still continues to back walks and started talking about random things.

"Aryan, Where's dhruv?" Questions sobitha coming towards them.

"Maa, He has gone to attend a call. Is there anything, I can help with?" Replied Aryan, glancing at sobitha. His features softened.

"Uh nothing beta, Just rajendra bhai needs him, Can you please call him?" Replied sobitha, her eyes sparkled with affection.

Nodding his head, Aryaan rose up, heading outside to call him.

"Aryan! Let me come with you" Saying this, Pranav followed suit.

Sobitha and advik exchanged glances and burst into chuckle, observing his enthusiasm.

"When he arrives, I'll inform you aunty" Spoke Advik with a polite smile.

"Haan jii beta, main chalti hun fir (Yes son, I'm leaving)" Replied sobitha, offering a warm smile.

Advik nodded his head in response, reflecting her expression.

Sobitha left leaving advik behind.

Watching her leave, Advik thought, "Pata nai yeh pranav kab sudhrega (Don't know, When he's going to change)" While shaking his head with a smile.

Meanwhile outside, "Where he is?" Spoke pranav nonchalantly.

"I'll call him, maybe he's somewhere" Replies Aryan, pulling his phone out of his pocket.

Pranav casually looks around, his gaze settled on dhruv. His expression reflects a slight amusement.

"Yo dude! Look over there!" Exclaims pranav, tapping Aryan's shoulder.

With a frown, Aryan follows his gaze, and met with the sight of Samaira, who stood wide eyed. His features softened.

"Abe o pyaar ka phool thoda age dekh. Akshara is about to get collide with dhruv. (Oh flower of love, look a little further)" Snaps pranav, observing his gaze on samaira.

With a frown, he shifted his gaze towards Dhruv and akshara.

"And also-" Before akshara could continue, she felt a strong chest right behind her, which felt like a wall to her.

Startled, she jerks around quickly. Her open hair swings around like a curtain, splashing across his face.

For a brief moment, Dhruv closes his eyes, taken aback by the sudden warmth and sweet scent of her hair.

He feels a rush of warmth as her soft hair brushes against his skin, and it's almost as if time stood still. The noises of surroundings fades away, all he can focus on the softness of her hair and the closeness of their bodies.

Akshara realizing what happened, freezes for a moment, her cheeks flushed. "I'm- I'm sorry! I didn't- It was unintentional" Stammers Akshara, observing dhruv, who stood in front of her.

"Kya kare?(What should we do?) Dhruv bhai gets furious, if any girl touches him. My poor akshara is going to be yelled now?" Whispers samaira to kiara, her tone laced with concern.

Kiara stood still, her expressions reflecting samaira's.

Dhruv took a step forward, making akshara bow her head down in embarrassment. Her cheeks flushed, her heart raised at the sight of their closeness.

Before Akshara could say anything further, Dhruv interrupts.

"Are you okay? I'm sorry, I startled you" Spoke Dhruv, observing her nervousness.

Samaira & Kiara exchanged looks of disbelief. Their eyes wide in astonishment.

Aryan, Pranav stood still, observing him apologizing to her.

"H-He's apologising to her? Woah damn! Didn't expect this from him. I thought she's going to get yelled. She got saved woah!" Exclaims pranav with a teasing smile. His tone laced with disbelief.

Aryan absorbing his words, replied, "Alright, Let's go. It's late already". Saying this, Aryan started walking, leaving pranav behind.

"Yaar! I'm coming! Wait!" Saying this, Pranav followed suit.

"I'm f-fine, Thanks and sorry, I was just-" Dhruv interrupts akshara.

"It's okay. As long as you are fine. Also, Let's go, It's time for dinner already. All are waiting for you guys" Spoke Dhruv, his tone calm.

Feeling the weight of the moment, Kiara spoke, "Yes, Let's go guys!" Saying this, Kiara started walking dragging samaira along with her.

"Let's go Akshara" Whispers samaira, dragging akshara along with her.

"Ye- Yeah. Thanks" Saying this, Akshara quickly follows samaira.

Observing her leave, A chuckle escaped dhruv's lips.

"Her flushed face will be the death of me one day" Thought dhruv, observing her disappearing figure.

After some moments, Dhruv follows them.

"Guys? Where were you?" Questions Advik, observing all of them entering the hall.

"Why? Anything happened?" Questions back Dhruv.

"Nothing happened, You all left me alone. I've been sitting here, since you guys left" Replied Advik.

"Oh now that, I'm here don't worry. I won't leave you alone" Spoke Pranav patting Advik's head.

"Shut the hell up you bacche (kid)" Retorts advik with a frown.

"Yaar! I'm not a kid" Snaps pranav.

"But I'm the one who makes them" Whispers Pranav. which didn't go unnoticed by Aryan, Dhruv, Advik.

Aryan, Dhruv, and Advik looked at him in a strange way.

Kiara brows furrowed, "What? I couldn't hear it? What did he say?" Questions kiara, her tone laced with confusion.

"I was saying that-" Dhruv, Advik drags him before pranav could spout anything.

Samaira, Kiara and akshara exchanged confused glances.

"Nothing, He was just saying something" Spoke Advik, nudging pranav's shoulder.

Three of them shrugged their shoulders in unison.

"You all are here? Alright let's go! It's time for dinner, we're the last ones left, The guests are leaving already" Announced mahima, marching towards them.

"Uhm- Yeah, The photoshoot is over, It's time for dinner. Let's go Akshara" Spoke Kiara, grabbing everyone's attention.

"It's okay, I'll leave early. It's late already, also seems like my brother is late again" Replies akshara, glancing at her wrist watch.

Dhruv halts hearing her statement.

"Oh, it's okay! I'll drop you, Come with us for dinner now" Spoke samaira, glancing at akshara. Her tone gentle.

"Yes Akshara beta, I'll arrange someone to drop you. Join us for dinner" Added mahima, supporting samaira's statement.

"It's totally fine aunty, I'm really fine on my own. Also, It's late already. I'll book a cab for myself" Replied Akshara offering a polite smile.

Mahima looks unconvinced, spoke, "Alright, I'll arrange someone to drop you! That's final! No arguments further" Her tone demanding yet gentle.

Akshara hesitantly glances at samaira, Samaira nods her head, signalling her to agree.

All eyes shifted towards her waiting for her reply.

Feeling everyone's eyes on her, She hesitantly nods her head in response.

"Alright, I'll call our personal driver to drop akshara, Advik call him" Stated mahima with a bright smile.

Advik nods his head and was about to dial the driver's number but, pranav interrupts.

"It's totally fine aunty, Dhruv can drop her. He said that, he have to meet a important client. He can drop her, it's on his way anyways." Stated pranav, glancing at dhruv.

Pranav signals something to dhruv with his eyes.

Dhruv looked confused for a moment, but it only took a fraction moment for him to understand "Yeah, It totally slipped out of my mind, It's on my way". Spoke Dhruv, glancing at pranav.

"Yeah, That's what I am saying" Supports pranav with a smile.

Nodding her head, Mahima spoke, "Alright then, Dhruv beta if you have no problem with it, Please drop her home" Her tone gentle.

Dhruv nods his head in response.

"Alright, Now you guys are getting late. Start early, drive slowly, reach safely. Look even there's a slogan on this. Start now" Spoke pranav, playing winking at Dhruv.

Aryan, observing their silent talks, suppress a smile, threating to form on his face.

"They never change" Thought Aryan, shaking his head.

"Okay then, Have a safe journey Akshara! I gave you my number right? Call me, when you reach home okay?" Spoke samaira, glancing at akshara.

"Yeah, I will" Replied akshara, offering a bright smile.

Glancing at Akshara, Dhruv spoke, "Tho chaale? (So, Let's go?)" His tone gentle.

"Uhm- yeah, Let's go" Replied akshara, glancing back at him. Her tone soft.

"Alright byee, I'll call you tomorrow" Spoke kiara.

"Alright byee" Saying this, Akshara & Dhruv exited the venue hall.
