Chapter 30

After all the guests left the venue hall, the atmosphere shifted. The once-bustling space was now quiet, with only the soft sound of chairs being rearranged.

The family members gathered at the empty seats, forming a close-knit circle. They exchanged smiles and shared stories about the evening, their voices filling the hall with warmth and laughter, creating a sense of togetherness in the stillness of the post-event calm.

"Now haldi is going to held in Riya's house right?" Questions kiara, her tone laced with excitement.

"Yeah! Its after two days! I'm excited for it" Added samaira, her excitement palpable.

Everyone chuckled at their excitement for the event ahead.

"Now, Riya and rajvansh wedding is gonna take place in few days" Spoke sobitha softly. Her eyes sparkled with warmth.

Riya and rajvansh exchanged shy glances while all the youngster started hooting making them blush even more.

"Papa, All are teasing us!" Stated riya with a shy yet playful smile.

"Hey! Don't you dare to tease my daughter again" Spoke veerendra, his tone playful.

"Hayee! Papa ki pari (Dad's angel)" Retorts samaira, making everyone chuckle in response.

"Their wedding is finally gonna happen, I wonder who's next?" Spoke nalini, her tone gentle.

Everyone fell silent and their gaze shifted towards samaira. Her eyes narrowed observing their gazes on her.

Aryan stares at samaira, waiting for her response.

"What? Why y'all looking at me?" Questions samaira, raising a brow.

"Maybe it'll be you" Replied mahima with a playful smile.

Making a face, samaira spoke, "W-What? No never" While folding her arms across her chest playfully.

Mahima stares at samaira, making samaira wince in response.

"Dadaji! Look! They all want to send me away already!" Says samaira rushing towards yashodhar.

"Hey! Whatever my granddaughter is what's going to happen in this house. She's the boss here. Her happiness is our happiness" Snaps yashodhar, glancing at everyone, his tone playful.

Samaira feeling his support pokes her tongue out in a playful gesture at mahima.

Mahima playfully rolls her eyes in response.

"Ab yeh dada ki pari nikali. (Now, she become dada's angel)" Whispers kiara, making riya chuckle in response, as she's beside her.

"This mother & daughter, They never change" Says vijay, glancing at both the mother and daughter, while shaking his head.

Everyone burst into a fit of laughter on his statement.

After few moments of chatting, everyone parted their ways to their respective homes, still excited for the event ahead.

The next day:-

*Rathore's mansion*

"Hey, Are you gonna make yourself out or should I drag you outside?" Snaps Aryan, utterly annoyed by pranav's presence.

"It's been two hours since you been resting in my room. Don't you have a home for yourself?" Added Aryan, folding arms across his chest. His tone calm.

"Hey dude, Calm down man. I'll definitely leave after 5 minutes" Replied pranav while munching snacks. He comfortably laid on Aryan's bed, as if he owns it.

"You've been saying this since past two hours" Spoke Aryan rolling his eyes, while settling on the couch.

"Alright. I came to ask something important" Says pranav, straightening his back, while dusting off the remnants from his mouth.

Aryan raised his brow in response.

"Actually......" Pranav starts and trails off glancing at Aryan.

"What?" Curiosity pipped, Aryan questions.

Pranav took a brief pause before continuing, "Do you some water?" Questions pranav, glancing around.

Aryan rolled his eyes and lets out a exasperated scoff.

"Alright. Now, You can get out" Saying this, Aryan was about to drag pranav out of the room.

"Dude! Dude! I'm sorry! I was just playing around, I'm sorry!" Defends pranav, his tone playful.

"I'm definitely gonna talk about something serious" Adds pranav, getting out of Aryan's grip and settling on bed.

Aryan stood still, with his usual cold face, folding his arms across his chest.

"It's about Samaira" Adds pranav observing his expression.

Hearing samaira's name, Aryan marched towards the couch and settled on it.

"What do you want to say?" Questions Aryan, his tone calm.

"It's about samaira, That's the reason he's listening quietly." Whispers pranav, glancing at Aryan.

Aryan raised a brow, waiting for him to continue.

Clearing his throat, pranav spoke, "I just want to ask that, you had a proper conversation with samaira right? I don't think you did it?"

Aryan got lost in thoughts, making pranav frown.

"Oh hello! I asked you something?" Says pranav.

A sigh escaped Aryan's lips. "She isn't giving me a chance. Whenever I try to talk, she just runs away or just gets furious. I don't think she is the same as before" Replied Aryan, his tone low.

"It's totally makes sense cause it's because of your stupid behavior on that day. Also, Does she likes you now?" Questions pranav.

"She doesn't even like talking to me, let alone liking me." Replied Aryan, his tone low.

"It's okay dude! Don't worry just have a proper conversation with her and try to impress her, when you are around her" Says pranav, glancing at Aryan.

"Using your tricks? It's not possible. Kiara doesn't say anything to you, but samaira will kill me, if I use your tricks" Retorts Aryan.

Pranav dramatically gasps in disbelief.

"Y-You're insulting me! Mind your business" Snaps pranav with disbelief look.

Aryan rolls his eyes in response.

"Alright! Alright! I'll help you, if i can with anything. Also, Riya and rajvansh haldi is gonna take place, that's the best time for you to have a nice talk with her" Spoke pranav.

Aryan nods his head in response.

"Alright then, I'm leaving! Call me if you need me around. I'm available anytime" Saying this, pranav winks at Aryan.

"Just get out already" Says Aryan, pushing him out of the room.

"I hate you- I" Before pranav could complete his sentence, Aryan pushes him out of his room.

Slamming the door behind him, Aryan laid on the bed thinking about samaira.

"Samaira, you're always on my mind." Sighs Aryan.

Aryan's phone buzzed grabbing his attention.

Straightening his back, he grabbed his phone and glanced at the caller I'd.

Pressing the phone to his ear, he spoke, "Yes Mr. Sharma?" His tone cold.

"Sir, I've already mailed the documents you asked me. Please check it once" Replied rakesh, his tone professional.

Aryan hummed in response and hung up the call.

Aryan got himself busy in checking mails without even a break, he continues his work as he's working from home.

Even he took leave for Riya's wedding, he still works, when he gets time.

*Haldi day*

"Samaira! Come down! We're ready! We're getting late beta!" Exclaims vijay from the hall way.

The haldi ceremony is gonna held in Rathore's mansion, The Aggarwal's are ready to head rathore's mansion. The mens dressed up in yellow kurtis with embroidery works on top of it.

While the ladies dressed up in vibrant yellow sarees with some jewelry adorning their outfits.

Rajvansh's outfit:-

Advik outfit:-

"I'm here!" Exclaims samaira, marching towards them.

Samaira dressed up in a vibrant yellow choli lehanga, the lehanga made of net fabric and featuring gold embroidery and sequin work. The outfit is completed with a yellow net dupatta, which is also embellished with gold embroidery and sequin work.

She completed her look with a simple diamond necklace around her neck and a sliver bracelet adorning her wrist.

Samaira's outfit:-

"Madam's finally ready?" Says advik, his laced with sarcasm.

"Of course, I'm ready" Replied samaira with a sheepish smile.

"Alright then, If you are ready, Let's head to riya's house" Announced mahima.

Everyone started to move but halts in their place.

"Wait! Wait!" Exclaims samaira.

Everyone's confused gazes met her concerned gaze.

"What happened beta?" Questions kavitha.

"Akshara's gonna join us too! She must be on her way! Let's wait for her too" Says samaira, her tone excited.

Everyone made a 'O' face.

Then suddenly Akshara enters the mansion grabbing their attention. "I'm late! I'm sorry" Says Akshara marching towards them. Her tone apologetic.

Everyone's gaze shifted towards her.

"Akshara's here too" Says nalini softly, glancing at akshara. Her eyes sparkled with warmth.

Akshara dressed up in a yellow lehanga choli set. The lehenga and choli are a vibrant mustard yellow, while the dupatta is a contrasting deep pink. She completed her look with matching jhumka.

Akshara's outfit:-

"I'm sorry everyone, I'm late!" Apologies akshara with a apologetic expression.

"No need to be sorry akshara beta, Samaira just got ready too. We were already waiting for her to get ready" Says mahima softly.

Akshara smiles in response.

"Alright! The cars are ready! Let's go" Saying this, everyone made their way towards the cars.

Yashodhar, kavitha settled in a car while Advik, nalini and Ashok are settled in a different car.

Rajvansh, Mahima and vijay settled in a separate car while Samaira and Akshara settled in samaira's car.

The cars left the Aggarwal's mansion and headed towards the Rathore's mansion.

After some time, They reached the Rathore's mansion.

"They are here!" Exclaims kiara, her tone laced with excitement.

Kiara dressed up in a yellow crop top, with matching high-waisted palazzo pants, and a long, open-front cape. The outfit complemented her figure perfectly. She completed her look with some minimal makeup and matching accessories.

Kiara's outfit:-

"Yeah, I couldn't see it until you announce it" Says pranav with a mischievous glint in his eyes, his tone playful.

Pranav's outfit:-

Kiara glared at him in response. Making him chuckle.

"Alright! Pranav stop irritating kiara and welcome them" Says pragati, glaring at pranav. Making him shut his mouth.

"I was about to do that" Says pranav, quickly marching towards the Aggarwal's.

A chuckle escaped kiara's lips glancing at pranav and she followed suit.

"Samaira, Akshara! You guys are looking beautiful OMG!!" Exclaims Kiara, making them chuckle in response.

Smiles blossomed on Aryan, Pranav and dhruv's faces glancing at them.

Aryan's outfit:-

"Where's my bhabhi? I want to meet her!" Says samaira, her tone laced with excitement.

Everyone chuckled at her statement.

"I'm here!" Replied riya with a flushed face. Her cheeks red.

Riya dressed up in a vibrant yellow lehenga choli set, the outfit complements her figure perfectly. She completed her look with matching jewelry.

Riya's outfit:-

"Aww! My bhabhi's pretty!" Exclaims samaira, pulling riya into a warm hug.

"My sister-in-law is gorgeous too" Replied riya, making samaira blush in response.

Everyone looked at them with awe.

Aryan's eyes never leaving samaira.

"Hello? We're here too. Let us join that of hug yours" Says kiara, referring to herself and Akshara, her tone sarcastic.

Akshara chuckles glancing at kiara.

"Akshara's here too? Come here" Saying this, riya pulled akshara with her. Three of them did a hug leaving kiara alone.

Aryan, Dhruv and rajvansh eyes fixed on them.

"Hey? I'm the one who asked it. Dude show some mercy" Scoffs Kiara, folding arms across her chest. Her tone playful.

With a smirk, pranav leans toward kiara and says, "Don't worry. You have me, you can hug me as much as you want. I won't disobey you".

Taking a step back, Kiara glances around and found everyone busy in glancing the hugging trio.

"Pranav, You never leave a chance to tease me right?" Whispers Kiara, her tone laced with slight frustration.

"Who told you that, I'm just teasing you? I can make it happen if you will" Replied pranav with a playful smile.

Kiara sighs in response. "Whatever" Says kiara with a done expression.

"So? You agreed to hug me infront of everyone? I'm ready for this" Says pranav, taking a step forward. His tone laced with slight amusement.

"I never said, I will. Move aside" Saying this, Kiara sprinted towards pragati, who's chatting with aadhya.

Pranav chuckles glancing at her flushed face.

"Alright now, It's time for haldi ceremony! The arrangements are already done, let's go" Announced sobitha, glancing at everyone.

Everyone exchanged excited glances and made their way towards the garden.

Upon reaching the spacious garden, Everyone glanced around with awe. The garden is perfectly decorated as per the theme of ceremony.

The decoration:-

Riya and rajvansh settled on the designed seats as per mahima's and sobitha's order.

There's a curtain in between them, preventing them to look at eachother.

"Yaar, I just wish that, This thing between us can be removed" Whispers rajvansh, glancing at the  curtain. Due to the curtain, only the shadow of riya is seen.

"Just dream on that dude. Cause no one's gonna remove that" Whispers back dhruv, as he stands close to rajvansh.

Rajvansh sighs hearing his statement.

Dhruv chuckles observing his expression.

"You can laugh as much as you want, I'll see you in your haldi ceremony. I'll get my time and I'll laugh on your face" Challenges rajvansh glaring at him.

"Let's see" Replied dhruv with a playful smile.

"Samaira, help me hold this" Says mahima, handing her a plate, which is filled with small size bowls with the haldi paste on it.

Samaira quickly helps her by holding the plate. Everyone gathers around, their faces beaming with happiness and warmth.

Kavitha and yashodhar are the first one to apply haldi to rajvansh. "We're happy for you beta" Says kavitha, lovingly applying the paste to his hands.

A broad smile spread across rajvansh face hearing her statement.

After the couple, Mahima and Vijay applies haldi to rajvansh. "My son is finally getting married" Says mahima, her eyes glistening lightly.

"Oh hello madam. Even the bride's parents are smiling and here you are sheding tears for your son's haldi. Woah" Says vijay, trying to enlight her mood. His tone playful.

"Hayee papa! You got a point! My mom got a taunt for the first time, so this needs to get applause. Everyone give a big round of applause" Adds samaira, glancing at mahima, with a playful smile.

Everyone burst into a fit of laughter at their light-hearted banter.

After them, Everyone followed suit. And now only the youngsters are left.

Samaira, Kiara, Advik, and Pranav stood infront of Rajvansh offering innocent smile with handful of haldi on their palms.

"So? Can we start?" Says samaira taking a step forward.

Rajvansh sighs, "Guys, don't I have any other option?" Says rajvansh, glancing at them.

Then suddenly, The group showered him with haldi, applying it to his whole body.

Akshara smiles as she watches their antics.

Dhruv's gaze shifted towards akshara, His gaze fixed on her smiling face.

"Aryan, dhruv and akshara. You guys should apply it too." Says sobitha, her tone laced with warmth.

"But it seems like, He's already done with them" Says Dhruv, his tone playful.

"It's alright! You can still apply haldi to him" Says Riya behind the curtain, while barely controlling her laugh.

The elders chuckled at the youngsters antics.

After everyone being done with applying haldi to rajvansh, mahima collected some amount of haldi from rajvansh and mixed it into Riya's bowl.

"Oh it totally slipped out of my mind" Says sobitha, her eyes widening in realization.

"What is it, sobitha?" Inquired mahima, observing her concern.

"Actually there isn't sufficient amount of haldi here, I've kept the ingredients in the kitchen, I guess I need to go and get it" Replied sobitha.

"Samaira beta, If you don't mind, can you please go and get it?" Requests sobitha, glancing at samaira.

"Yeah, Until then, we can apply the remaining haldi to Riya" Added mahima, glancing at samaira.

"Alright, I'll go and get it!" Replied samaira. She made her way towards the hall.

A mischievous thought popped in pranav's mind as he listened to their conversation.

"Yo! I got a idea" Saying this, pranav whispered something into dhruv's ear.

"You think this gonna work out?" Questions dhruv, his tone uncertain.

"Of course! Just let's do it! Let's go" Saying this, pranav and dhruv followed samaira.

Not knowing that, Aryan heard their secret conversation and with a smirk, he thought, "This is the perfect opportunity, I better utilize it properly".

"I just have to wait for them to call me" Thought Aryan, thinking about something.
