EIGHTEEN

THEY ARRIVED AT the street where the attack is happening not long after getting into the car.

The street is almost empty, they seem to have evacuated everyone as soon as they noticed the men who were planning the attack.

Jimin is quite overwhelmed, it were too many different things happening, he saw everyone beside Jungkook and Taehyung, who are somewhere hiding to sniper if something happens.

The group consisting of Namjoon, Hoseok, Chan, Felix and a few other SWAT officers, are surrounding what seem three men.

„Stay here." Yoongi says before leaving the car to rush over to his team mates. Jimin frowns, as if he would stay inside. Of course he's going with Yoongi. As soon as the elder left the car, Jimin followed him, joining the others who are aiming at the attackers.

Jimin watched the scene from slightly afar because he's the only one without a weapon so he wouldn't be much of a help. Still he doesn't want to sit in the car and do absolutely nothing. Even though he's not trained enough and not even slightly good in shooting or fighting, he can't do nothing at all.

"Surrender now and no harm will come to you." Namjoon shouts, his gun pointing at the male in the middle, in his arms is hostage, some random man who happened to be there at the wrong time.

"Leave the man go und surrender!" Namjoon demands, his voice loud and strong.

"Come closer and I will shoot!" The attacker shouts back, pressing the gun against the temple of the man.

The attacker is wearing a black mask, covering the lower part of his face. The two men on his right and left side are pointing their guns at Namjoon and the other SWAT officers. They are clearly in the minority, but they have a hostage and saving him is the priority.

Jimin watches the scene closely, completely focused, at some point he feels like he stopped breathing because the tension is oppressive and tense.

Hoseok is now trying to talk to them, while Namjoon gives orders through their headset, Jimin looks to his right, where his partner is supposed to be. But he isn't.

The black haired male frowns, his eyes searching for the certain Sergeant, trying to find him between the SWAT officers who are all looking the same. At first he can't find him, a strange feeling arises in his chest - something between, insecurity, fear, adrenaline and worry.

Where the fuck did he go? When did he disappear?

The tension is so extreme, you could hear a needle drop, because no one dares to make a move or sound. Any wrong action could cause a disaster. Shooting, blood, screams - everything like in Jimin's vision.

His eyes find their way to Felix, the male who's supposed to be shot today, gladly he's surround by many officers, he's armed, he has a bulletproof vest, he's safe. At least it seems so. It's not like in his vision.

Once again his eyes scan the whole place, but he's looking at the wrong place - Yoongi isn't at the side of the other officers, he somehow made his way to the back, right behind the three men. Jimin is truly amazed, a big frown on his face as he tries to figure out how Yoongi got there, without being noticed by the attacker. He indeed lives up to his code name.

Namjoon and Hoseok noticed him too, but they didn't show it on their faces, it were just intense stares that they shared.

It's three men and one hostage, it won't be easy to take them down together. It has to happen fast, Jimin has never experienced something like that but he's a logical person. Sometimes he can see the things happening with different eyes, just like a plan or map appearing in front of his inner eye, but it's not another supernatural ability.

As he scans the situation, he slowly approaches the officers, but other than Yoongi, he walks to the left side, quietly and carefully so that no one notices it. There's a sudden urge inside of him, to approach the happening even if he's unarmed, but he has the strange feeling in his guts, telling him that something is about to happen, that he has to get to Yoongi, now.

And like always he can trust his guts, then just when Yoongi is about to grab the male with the hostage, the man on the left side, on Jimin's side, notices the Sergeant. Everything happens so fast and at the same time just like in slow motion. In the next moment, Jimin finds himself rushing to the attacker standing on the left, about to point his gun at Yoongi, he can hear Namjoon shouting but he can't understand his words.

All that he can see and think of right now is his partner, his partner who's in danger.

The emotion of anger, fear and worry is making his whole body tickle, everything gets hot and it feels like a fire is set inside of him, spreading within a second, as he reaches out his hand, focusing his emotions on the weapon that could kill his partner. The next second the black metal is being thrown against the wall of the building next to Jimin, everything happened so fast.

A loud shot caught his attention, followed by another shot.

Jimin's eyes scan the situation immediately, as if the time stopped, as if he could see it in slow-motion. Yoongi managed to attack the man from behind, he saved the passenger and is now holding his knife against the attacker's throat. So many things happened at the same time, because when Yoongi attacked and Jimin unarmed the other male, the man on the right side, tried to shot one of them, but got shot himself in the result.

A loud scream is leaving the attacker's lips as he falls down to the ground, holding his right arm tightly.

Jimin grabs the gun he took from the second man a few seconds ago, rushing to him, and before the man could do something, Jimin has already hit him with the shaft of the gun, now pointing it at him while he's lying on the ground.

The adrenaline is still rushing through his veins as he looks down to the male he unarmed himself. He did it. With his own power. With his supernatural ability, the one he never managed to control. He used it fucking perfectly, to save his partner. To save Yoongi.

As he looks up to his right, there where Yoongi is standing, he can see the elder already staring at him. The other officers has taken away the main attacker, it's just Yoongi standing there.

Jimin clicks his tongue, before winking at Yoongi, a proud smile on the younger male's lips. Yoongi just stares back at him, the expression on his face is hard to tell, but in the next moment his eyes are pointing down to the male who's lying in front of Jimin.

Jimin smirks, before hitting the man in the face once again, knocking him out with that hit. Soon officers rush to him as well, cuffing the male and carrying him away just like the other two.

Even though Jimin was proud at himself at first, for saving his partner, for being a help, for using his power for the good, he is quite confused why he's now being yelled at by the Commander.

The black haired male frowns, his team mates are standing in a half circle around him and Namjoon.

They arrived at the department and are now talking about their task. And even though Jimin thought he did an amazing job, he still feels wronged at the moment.

"That was really stupid of you, Park." The commander says with a stern voice, sounding nothing like the nice and kind Namjoon, "It was a big risk! You didn't only risk your life, but the life of the others too! It was a mistake to go to the front on your own. You weren't even armed and you're not even an official Officer. This could've gone so wrong."

"But it didn't, right?" Jimin interrupts, "Nothing happened. We unarmed them. No one got hurt, so what's your fucking problem?"

"Language, Park." Sergeant Jung adds, making Jimin roll his eyes.

"Your actions were reckless and risky. You could've gotten hurt, or someone else. This is not how we work here." Namjoon responds with a slightly calmer voice, but Jimin himself is feeling the anger inside of him getting bigger.

"I was only helping my partner. He was at danger, I saved him. This is how I work." The black haired male says, taking a step closer to Namjoon, looking straight into his commander's eyes.

"You're dismissed, Park." Commander Kim responds, returning the stare while Jimin just snorts, before turning around and heading to the door, passing his team mates and with that his partner.

For a second their share an intense stare, before Jimin looks away first, walking off to leave the office, slamming the door behind him as he exits the room. No one stopped him, no one followed him, of course they wouldn't. Because they know, what Jimin did, was against the rules, it's not how their team works. This is not how the Swat works. But how should he know?

He doesn't even feel like he's a part of the team in the first place. He was thrown into the group without getting to know them at first. Of course he gets along with them, but how is he supposed to know their way of working, working as a team, how should he know that? Ever since he started his training, he hasn't been involved in any kind of team activities or duties, how should he know it? Like Namjoon said, he's not even an official Officer.

It's making him extremely angry, he needs some fresh air and to get out of the department. His training for the day is over, he needs to clear his mind, to get rid of the anger inside of him.

How stupid of him to think the other's would be proud about him controlling his powers, or helping them out? All they did was nag on him for risking his life.

An angry shout leaves Jimin's lips as he left the building, passing a few parked SWAT cars. To let out his anger he approaches the one right next to him, kicking the tire, hurting his own foot in result. "Fuck you!" He shouts frustrated- once over the fact that he got scolded and second because of hurting himself by kicking that stupid tire.

With that he walks away, hoping to blow off some steam. Somehow.

I hope I did well with the action scene it was so hard I wrote on that chapter weeks I think :') it was back in July tho-
