Chapter 9
I'm Trapped in a Bloody Reverse Harem Game
I laughed at Ardal, and he smiled at me, but there seemed to be tension in his eyes. There were only two people here who knew what I needed to do to become a Holy Daughter: the pope and Ardal.
Ardal was not in charge of education, but he knew what the popeâs education was like.
âMr. Haniel, education isâ¦â
Ardal looked at my face. He shook his head as he pulled his lips closed.
âOh, nothing. I will guide you to the office.â
Ardal guided me to the office but continued to look back at me as I left the garden. I laughed brightly, constantly waving until he walked out of the garden.
Other paladins guarding near the popeâs office looked at Ardal, seeming to think his attitude was strange. Ardal bowed his head briefly and turned to leave.
Ardal truly cared about me. I laughed contentedly and knocked on the office door.
âCome in.â
As soon as I knocked, I heard an elegant voice resonate from inside the office. As I opened the door, the pope rose from his seat.
âYou donât have to be so awkward. Come on in.â
âI heard that the Holy Father wants to start my education starting today, but wonât I be a bother?â
âTaking on Sister Hanielâs education will be the happiest part of my temple life. It will not be a bother at allâ
The Popo poured tea into a cup at the table in the middle of the room. He beckoned me to walk towards him, so I followed his gesture.
As he whispered, he swallowed his saliva as he watched the car. That was a tea mixed with apolysis. If you drink that, you will fully follow the Popeâs order and be completely obedient to him.
âFirst of all, please relax as you enjoy tea. I heard this is a very good tea leaf, and it is an honor for me to be able to serve Sister Haniel this.â
He filled his teacup with more tea as he whispered that sweetly to me.
I knew that the tea had a medicinal effect, but what would happen if the Pope drank it?
Suddenly, I looked carefully at the teapot of the same color with curiosity. I donât think he will notice it if I change it.
âSister Haniel?â
âThank you, Holy Father. I have a questionâ¦â
âYes, you can ask me anything.â
I didnât sit straight, instead, I leaned towards the popeâs side and secretly moved my hand, switching the two teacups. I pointed elsewhere, diverting the Popeâs attention to a painting he wasnât very interested in, and asked who the painter was.
The Pope answered with a smile and led me back to the table.
âThank you for the tea.â
âYes.â
I brought the tea that had been switched to my lips. The Pope drank the tea as I did. His expression changed the instant he took a sip of the tea.
When I drank the tea in the past, I would feel a burst of excitement coursing through my body. I felt so itchy between my legs that I couldnât stand steadily. I would obediently listen to anything the person in front of me would say.
Will the Pope react the same way?
ââ¦Sister Haniel.â
His voice rang. He swallowed the tea completely and held his forehead as he sighed loudly.
âYou changed the tea. Why did you do that?â
âOh, thatâs becauseâ¦I think the tea that the Holy Father gave me is betterâ¦Iâm just fine with drinking normal tea. This is so delicious.â
âIs that soâ¦â
I laughed while raising my teacup, feigning tactlessness towards the Pope speaking in a groggy voice. He probably believed that I didnât do it with ill intentions in mind, so he only clenched his fist tightly and said no more.
Oh, itâs working.
His white skin was slowly turning red from the collars up to his neck. The Popeâs earlobes began to redden and his breathing became uneven. However, he remained calm and told me.
âPlease waitâ¦just for a moment.â
The Pope said as he walked towards the door. Paladins who were guarding the front of the office saluted to the Pope. The Pope told them.
