Chapter 110
The Darling of the Paranoid Tycoon
Colleenâs head span, and she trembled all over.
Now, no one could save her.
Delbert threw the phone at her feet and glared at her.
He coldly commanded Cory, âMake her disappear from my sight immediately! The sooner, the better!â
Cory complied and moved forward to drag Colleen away.
Colleenâs face turned pale, and she crawled to Delbertâs feet, clutching. his pants and continuously begging for mercy.
âI'm sorry, Mr. Delbert. | was wrong. | shouldnât have bullied Miss Harriet or spoken ill of her behind her back. Please spare me.â
Delbert remained unmoved.
With a wave of his hand, he signaled Cory to remove this troublesome woman. He still needed to go on comforting Harriet.
Colleen had no choice but to plead with Harriet. âIâm sorry, madam. Iâve realized my mistake, and | promise this wonât happen again. Please show me your mercy!â
âI'm sorry, but you're a bad person. | will never forgive you!â Harriet reprimanded, pulling a straight face. âDo you want to stay and let me make a salad with your tongue?â
Unseen by Delbert, she smirked at Colleen. The murderous gleam in her eyes scared Colleen out of her pants.
âCory, you heard the lady,â Delbert said, growing impatient.
Cory didnât hesitate any longer. He forcefully pulled Colleen up from the ground, ignoring her struggles and cries, and prepared to escort her out of the villa.
Just then, a servant entered to report, âSir, Mr. Welch has arrived!â
Delbertâs eyes darkened slightly.
âWhy does Marc always show up at the wrong time? The situation here is already chaotic enough.â He thought.
However, the person who walked into the room wasnât Marc, but a woman dressed in luxurious attire, swaying as she moved.
âMom, Iâm here to see you!â The woman, carrying bags of various sizes, entered cheerfully.
Without needing a closer look, Harriet knew that the newcomer was Lula Becker, Marcâs first love and Molly's rival.
In her previous life, she had many encounters with Lula. This woman was adept at playing innocent while wielding power behind Mollyâs back.
There was even an instance when she helped Nora hire thugs to tarnish her reputation. However, in a twist of fate, it was Molly who had come to the scene..
To protect her honor, Molly jumped from the sixth floor and died.
Thus, Harriet owed Molly her life.
Now that Lula had taken the initiative to come, it was perfect. Harriet wouldn't let this woman off easily.
The smile on Lulaâs face froze when she took in the scene inside the villa.
âWho are you? Let go of my mother!â Lula snapped.
23 Having been protected by Marc all this time, she had developed an arrogant demeanor, looking down on everyone. Seeing Cory manhandling her mother, she flew into a rage and charged forward, intending to scratch Coryâs face with her nails.
âStop!â Delbertâs face turned icy as he shouted sharply.
Lulaâs steps faltered, and she finally noticed the man in the villa.
When she looked up, she met Delbertâs frosty and intimidating gaze, which made her skin crawl.
She had a feeling that if she dared to cross him even slightly, Delbert might kill her on the spot.
âWho is he?â She wondered.
