Vidya anxiously asked Nataraj, who was packing his clothes for moving out of City."Look. Don’t ask like this. Our grandmother used to tell that no one should ask ‘where he is going’, when someone is going out for an important work. Then the work we set out to do will not be succeeded" scolded to Vidya."That's all superstitious things or the wrong belief you developed in your mind, without any logic. An educated person like you shouldn't   keep all these things in your mind. When you are going out, you should think positively and then definitely you'll succeed in your work. At least tell me now. Are you going far?" Vidya asked again."I don't like this Bangalore. I am moving out to Mumbai, to settle there. There will be a lot of opportunities for my talents in that big City. A few days back, a producer called me to come there immediately" replied Nataraj."That means, you are leaving me now? If you leave me alone here, shall I have any respect here, Nataraj?" Vidya asked him."But, shall I happy, if I am continuing to be with you? I want to achieve something big in my life. I don’t have any patience to work from morning to night. If I am depending only on you, I may earn a few thousand or lakh. But, my ultimate goal is to earn in hundreds of Millions. One day, I want to become a famous personality, to be recognized by everyone. This is my ultimate goal in my life.  If I am with you, all these are will remain as dreams only” told Natraj."If you can't have a happy life with me and you don't need me, why did you go through all the troubles to bring me with you?" asked Vidya."See, I don't have time to answer all your questions. I just had chosen you to full fill my mother's wish. I have to reach to Airport  for catching afternoon flight. I am in a hurry and I will talk to you later" he said and  called his mother.His mother Sharada Devi came and asked "why did you call me, Nataraj?""Mom, I am going to Mumbai, very urgently.  Please bless me" he bowed to her leg for blessing."My blessings are always on you, son. What is the matter of going to Mumbai so urgently?" Sharada Devi asked."A film producer from Mumbai called me last week and told me to come there immediately. He had informed that there is a lot of opportunities for my talent in a new movie" he said."Nataraj, if you leave Viday alone here, what about her situation here?" when she asked with  Nataraj, the same answer came from him  "Mom, tell me,  if I stay here with my Vidya, how much money I can  earn, even if I work from morning to night?. But, I can earn crores of rupees in the film industry. I am having a lot of talents. We should use our intelligence to grab the opportunity".  Sharada Devi was very upset with his answer.“What Nataraj?  Then, why did you bring her in your life, when you are not interested to live with her? Do you know how much money your father spent? You could have told us earlier, if you didn't like her. This Vidya would have joined with someone else to prosper in that someone’s life"."Mom, how many time I told you before?. My goal is different. One day I want to become a very famous person to be recognised by all in the society. I should use my talent and earn crores of money without struggling for that. Yes, my dad forced me to accept this Vidya, mainly to fulfill your dream and it also for pleasure of your both. Let her stay with you if you want" said Nataraj with a confirmed mind.Now Sharada Devi’s eyes became wet. But she relaxed and said, "Look Nataraj, even though you are grown up, you did not understand the society properly. Cinema, TV, modelling and entertainments are all glamour field...that is the world of illusion. It is not forever. It is impossible to predict when it will rise and when it will fall. There, human relationships are just like a contract.  It is measured by monetary value and there is no emotional attachment. You think once again about your decision and don't give up your Vidya for any reason.Vidya was silently listening to the conversations between mother and son. She was thinking about Nataraj’s future and started to talking to herself "Nataraj,  now you may be ignoring me and running behind the world of illusion and going to Bollywood, a wonder world. But, you should remember one thing in your life. It is true that, you had already accepted me as your companion for your life and one thing keep it in your mind that, “I will be with you forever"."Nataraj, have you informed your father that you are going to Mumbai?" Sarada Devi asked."I have already informed him, Mom.""Did he agree?""You may be knowing better than me, Mom.. what he would have said?.  He also told what you said now.  Finally he said that, my future is in my hand and  I can do whatever I want to do and he don’t want to interfere in my life” Nataraj replied. "Yes, It is true also. Whatever you like, mould your life from that. But, never compromise with your principles and moral ethics. It will always save you. Dharmo Rakshathi Rakshthah” finally she told.......Finally Nataraja went to the airport on the same day and boarded the flight to Mumbai.  Now, his Vidya is sitting alone,  silently in his room. Again and again in she used to telling herself in her mind ‘I will be with you forever....and always keep this in your mind. . .Nataraj . .”Five or six months passed like this. Nataraj, who went to Mumbai, used to call his mother once in a while and inquire about her health and father’s business etc.  Nataraj was very enthusiastic during initial period. But recently when Sarada Devi asked, "How are you, son?"  he used to give an elusive answer  “I am fine, Mom” and keeping quite.The man who invited Nataraj to Mumbai had introduced him to several directors and producers saying that, he would give him a chance to play the lead role in new movies. He had extorted a few Lakh of rupees from Nataraj. While Nataraja was in Bangalore, he had taken a personal loan from a bank and sent to him. Even while going to Mumbai, there was a balance of around four to five lakh rupees in his bank account.  Now balance in his account is reducing to zero. Whenever he requires money, he used to borrow from some of his close friends.At last he had realised that the producer who had invited him to Mumbai is a big cheater. Even after six months, he could not get a single opportunity to act either in the cinema or in TV Serials and now he became mentally depressed.In the midst of this, the Covid-19 virus outbreak started in the country. The film and entertainment industry ground to a halt as the lockdown was announced across the country. Now, Nataraj totally depressed. He started to feel that, father and mother would be very much worried, if they come to know about his real situation.  One day he called his one of his old friends and classmates Dr. Suparna and explained her all his difficulties and his present situation. But, after six months  realised that, he was cheated by that persons and by that due to Covid-19 virus outbreak lockdown was announced in the country and film industry ground to a halt. Finally he called his old friend Dr Suparna to help him.continued to Part No. 2  of 2Dr. Nataraj  was well known  to her since the day Dr. Suparna joined the medical college. Nataraj was a very talented student. He was not interested to go for higher studies after completing his MBBS. However, his father Prakash Rao, who is very rich industrialist, wanted his son to become a Psychiatrist and got him a seat in a prestigious medical college in Bangalore to  study  M.D., by paying  a huge amount of Donation.  Dr. Suparna also got a MD seat in the same college. Both of them were good friends as they were continued to study in the same college.She knows that Nataraj is studying medicine without any interest.  Since his student life, he used to actively participate in various cultural programs like drama and entertainment programs etc in schools and colleges without fail. He was well known as a good actor and director. So his focus was mainly on acting, modelling, movies and entertainment rather than his studies. However, he never falls behind in studies, as he was so talented.“M.D. in Psychiatrics….. I don't like this profession” he was generally used to inform Suparna, whenever he meets her.  I have to live with these  crazy people. Our father is very rich...... why all these jobs for me?” he was always thinking negatively about his medical profession. “I don't want to continue this profession, even after qualifying. I am doing this M.D. only to fulfil the wishes of my parents. I will finish the course to fulfil their dream”.  He always used to tell “my aim is totally different. I want to become a good actor and get a name and fame in the film industry”.  One day Dr Suparna told him, “Nataraj, a Doctor can become an Actor. But, it is not so easy to an actor to become a Doctor. You should keep in this mind”. She tried her level best to change his mind set, but all become futile. After completing their MD, while Dr. Suparna working as a Psychiatrist in a renowned hospital, Dr. Nataraj worked as visiting consultants in various hospitals and he could not settle down in any one place. Finally, he decided to give up on his medical profession and go to the film world in Mumbai to become a good Actor.The day when Nataraj finally decided to go to Mumbai, he met Dr Suparna and had a detailed discussion with her."Suparna.....I don't like this medical profession. Both of my parents wanted me to serve people as a doctor. I got a doctor's degree to fulfil their wishes. How much money can I make by working from morning to night?" He was expressing his boredom."Don't tell like that Nataraj. We should not evaluate everything in terms of money. This medical service is really the royal profession to serve the people. All are respecting us as 'Vaidyo Narayano Hari'. It means that a good doctor is equal to God. Our soldiers who guard our border work for day and night, struggling in extreme hot and chilled cold atmospheres, serving for the country. In what way, are we are great or struggling  as compared to them?"  she asked hime.He said "You are right, Suparna. But how much do they get paid even if they work so hard? A soldier fights bravely in the war land and becomes a real hero. But people worship the “Reel Hero” who acted in his name as a "Great Hero". The remuneration of a “reel hero” is in Crores. They calculate  it in crore of rupees. What do you say about this? Please tell me" he asked."Yes, this is the real irony of today. The reason for this is young people like you, being attracted by the glamor world, noticing only a handful of people who have succeeded there. Some young people like you are dreaming of becoming the like them. But even there, no one can remember a number of persons, those who have tried and failed in their life. Finally no one could notice those who have been cornered in field" she warned him."What you have said is also true, Suparna. But, some people don’t have any talent and also not having any clear vision, how to succeed in their life. Such types of people cannot reach their goal.  I have money, looks, talent, education and knowledge. I am confident that I can succeed in this film industry and achieve something great in my life" he replied with confidence."Nataraj, I know the talent you have. You have the graces of both Lakshmi and Saraswathi and it is a very rare combination. Along with this, you are also having the talent of acting. However, listen to me. Your wealth is not eternal. But the knowledge or the education that you have learnt is eternal. Your wealth dissipates when you spends or donates. But, your knowledge grows when you spends or donates.  It is the education that stays with you forever. The medical profession you learnt can be useful to thousands of people in the society. The patients who cured from you treat you as a God. So don't forget your medical profession gained by putting a lot of effort to get it.  Apart from this, you can continue your other talents like acting, directing and modelling as a passion. If you are very successful in it, make it your main profession and also continue your medical profession as a passion to serve some poor patients. Once again I am repeating Nataraj, the Education which you learnt you know, it will be with your forever” concluded Dr Suparna.Dr. Nataraj, decided to leave everything and go to Mumbai. Although Nataraj was totally confused with her last words, he did not change his decision. However, in his subconscious mind, Dr. Suparna's last words were kept echoing.At last, when he was preparing to leave for Mumbai as he had decided  earlier, Vidya's words  “I will be with you forever” echoed in his subconscious mind. Here, Vidya is not his wife or any other girl. That's the name given to his hard earned medical degree or professional education. Even though he spoke so much on that day, Dr. Nataraj,  got caught up in the whirlwind of the glamor world and flew to Mumbai's Bollywood.When Dr. Nataraj called himself again to help him, that he is in a lot of trouble today, Dr. Suparna was the first person to feeling happy, after receiving a call from him for a help.With a good intention to bring him to main stream of his medical profession, Dr. Suparna has immediately approached the Chief Doctor of the hospital she is working.   She informed about her friend Nataraj's case and asked for an opportunity for providing counselling services for patients who are taking treatment in the hospital, for mental depression.But. Because of lockdown announced everywhere, calling from Mumbai to Bangalore was an impossible task. Finally, her senior decided to give an opportunity to Dr. Nataraj,  by setting up an online medical counselling service through video conference under virtual platform. During the lockdown period, the patients who could not visit the hospital got the benefits of counselling service from their home itself. Doctors, who could not come to hospital are also largely benefited from this online service. It was helped Dr. Nataraj too, who could not come from Mumabi to Bangalore.Along with his acting, Dr. Nataraj is also a good speaker and also having very good oratory skill. Within a short period of six months, Dr. Nataraj, became an excellent counsellor for a large number of mentally depressed patients.  He got the name and fame for his counselling skill and became famous by treating thousands of mental patients, by giving a fresh life to them. All these became possible because of  lock down announced all over the world and opened a new era of medical services through virtual mode.That day, the words “I will be with you for ever”  uttered by his companion Vidya, no other than his “Medical Education or degree” became true today.The End.V.
