Chapter 363
Daddy, Mommy had been in Prison
âYouâre going too far, Sierra!â
Marcel finally spoke.
âIvan is Robertâs brother. Heâs not willing to claim the inheritance, but heâs also a part of the Simpson family. You donât have the right to chase him out.â
âI already said it, Uncle. If Ivan still supports Georgia, I can only ask him to leave so he doesnât make trouble. Robertâs inheritance assignment has dragged on for so long. If we donât solve it today, at that point, the company stocks are going to ripple, and itâll affect manpower, too.â
Ivan and Georgia didnât speak, as if they had been heavily shaken.
It took Georgia a lot not to show her a mocking or gleeful grin, though, just in case they noticed. Joanna, on the other hand, had spoken up with a sneer.
âEach and every one of you are playing dumb. Robertâs mental state has always been normal, but youâre all choosing to believe the reportâs real. Iâm disappointed in you.â
âIf you are unwilling to discuss the assignment of the inheritance, Aunt and Uncle, please leave as well. Security, escort these few out there, and donât let them back in again!â
Sierra suddenly spoke, and guards surrounded Georgia, Ivan, and his parents.
Seeing them about to get the boot, Dora cackled mockingly to the side.
âYou were getting so full of yourself, you bitch. Now we see you for what you are!â
âThinking you could inherit the property but getting kicked out right after. If it were me, Iâd jump off the building before continuing to embarrass myself.â
Jeers sounded around them.
Smiling, Georgia looked up at the crowd.
âIf you think thereâs an issue with the psych report, thereâs an issue, and the will isnât binding. Iâll admit that, but I want to ask the lawyer one question.â
âWhat question is that, Miss Lane?â
Georgiaâs smile grew in depth of meaning.
âYou just said that, with no certain will, the inheritance is assigned in accordance with the first heir, in which the wife, mother, and child count by law, correct?â
The lawyer nodded, but didnât understand what Georgia meant by asking that.
Sierra didnât understand, either, but Elsie was already issuing muffled laughter through her hand.
Ivan, too, was dying holding it in. He didnât want to break his composure in this sort of scene. He had his cool reputation to keep up.
Georgia took out the marriage certificate sheâd kept to herself all along. A copy, of course. She wasnât about to produce the original just in case these people went and ripped it up.
âLawyer, this is my certificate of marriage to Robert. I believe itâs dated before Sierraâs certificate. Of course, as for which one of our marriage certificates are real? I feel like you can check with civil services first, then come back and discuss the assignment of the inheritance.â
At Georgiaâs words, the entire living room was in shock.
Even Sierra showed a stunned expression as she was struck dumb momentarily.
The lawyer, though, walked over in a model of professional conduct, looked over Georgiaâs certificate, and showed a complicated expression.
Georgia, though, smiled and handed the certificate to Sierra.
âYou have to look at it clearly, Miss Moon. Isnât this marriage certificate really similar to yours? If youâre willing to believe the will isnât legally binding, how about we divide the inheritance according to the first heir by law? Iâve long since had it up to here with you styling yourself as Robertâs wife. The only thing that kept me from revealing you for what you were because I wanted to see what youâd do. Right, pack your bags and get out of this mansion. Itâs mine now.â
With that, Georgia gave everyone in the room a copy of the marriage certificate.
Under everyoneâs astonished gaze, Georgia took Elsieâs hand and got ready to leave.
âI feel like all of you might still need to digest this news today, or maybe discuss it with each other with a meeting. Thatâs fine. Iâll give you some time.
Next time we discuss the inheritance assignment, remember to have me here.â
Finishing up, Georgia turned around and left with Elsie. Ivan left as well. Of course, his parents followed. They couldnât be bothered to stay in this living room anyway.
âWhat is going on?â
Dora asked loudly.
âWhy does Georgia have a marriage certificate with Robert? Which one of you two have the real one and which one the fake?â
The old manâs face was dark as he turned to Sierra and started his own questioning.
âYouâd better clear this up now, Sierra. Why does Georgia have a marriage certificate too? Whatâs going on between you two? What did Robert say to you in the beginning?â
Kenny walked over too.
âGive me a copy of your marriage certificate, too. Iâll take them to civil services and see which oneâs real and which oneâs fake.â
Everyone stood and asked their own questions. Sierra felt her ears buzz as if a multitude of voices were crowding around her ear. Finally, she couldnât take it and bellowed.
âGet out, get out, all of you!â
âWhatâs with the attitude? Weâre concerned about you. What if Georgia made a fake certificate? We can help you!â
Dora couldnât help but ask. Her attitude wasnât mocking at all.
After all, she was more willing to believe Sierraâs certificate was real. Then Sierra lost it.
âI said, all of you, get out! If you donât, Iâll have security toss you out.â
Sierra lost it completely.
âSecurity, get in here, chase these people out!â
Everyone looked strangely at Sierra, and Dora finally started sneering.
âReally, swaggering about like youâre someone special. Youâre even making a fake certificate now? So shameless.â
At that, Sierra pointed towards security.
âThrow Dora Simpson out of here and donât let her back in again!â
Dora scoffed.

The house belongs to Georgia anyway, and youâll be the one getting the boot sooner or later!â
The others looked on. Kenny took the copies of the marriage certification and walked out.
The old man shot a deep glance at Sierra.
âThink carefully on what to do yourself.â
With that, he took Randy with him and left. Sierra roared with rage inside the living room.
When she was done with her tantrum, Sierra turned to the servants in the room.
âWhereâs the young master and the madam? Bring them over.â
Those words were poisonous with hate, and the servants all shivered.
âHold on, my lady, Iâll have them bring the madam and the young master over.â
The servants fled. Sierra suddenly smashed everything in front of her, flinging the ceramic tea sets on the tea table to the floor, cackling madly.
Not long afterwards, the servant whoâd just spoken trembled and walked to Sierraâs side.
âMy lady, the madam and the young master have disappeared.â
