Chapter 180
Mr. Sallow's Sinful Wife by Maisie Chasey
Chapter 180 Blissful Happiness (2)
âNancy...â Nancy called out again, but the living room remained empty. There was no one there.
Unwilling to believe this, she then checked the bathroom, the balcony, and the kitchen, but the outcomes were the same:
everywhere was empty, and there was no sign of Nicholas. Could it all have been just a dream? Now that Iâve woken up, itâs time for me to come to terms with reality.
In an instant, her heart sank, and her mood took a sharp downturn. I must have gone crazy to have such a vivid dream. She reached out and touched her lips. Last night, they had kissed several times, especially the final couple of times when Nicholas kissed her passionately, eagerly, and wildly. She even seemed to remember those tender sensations, his scorching breath, his attractive voice, and the low moans he gave when he was aroused. And yet, despite her vivid memories, everything was unreal after all.
âYouâre hopeless, Nancy.â She pounded her forehead, feeling extremely frustrated. But why did that kiss not feel like a dream to me? It felt so real and so distinct.
Suddenly, she recalled something and rushed into the bathroom. She remembered that she had let Nicholas take a shower after she finished showering yesterday. If he had showered here, he must have left his clothes behind.
However, after searching the entire bathroom, she didnât find any of his clothes. There are none of his clothes. So, he wasnât here before, nor did he take a shower here. I was really delusional and had a dream that felt so real.
Just as Nancy had lost hope and concluded that it was all a dream, the door suddenly opened with at click. The next moment, she saw Nicholas striding in wearing casual clothes.
The moment she saw him, she hurriedly ran toward him without a second thought and threw her arms around him. She ran so fast that she nearly knocked him over. It was only when she was holding him, leaning against his chest, listening to his breathing, and smelling his familiar scent that she finally believed everything before her was real. I wasnât dreaming; it really wasnât a dream! With this realization, immense joy filled her heart, like dazzling fireworks going off one after another. At this very moment, her world was incredibly beautiful.
âWhere have you been? I thought you had left me again,â she mumbled. Only after her mind calmed down did she look up at him, her bright eyes blinking animatedly, which was particularly soul-stirring. The hurt look in her eyes and the note of grievance in her voice truly melted oneâs heart. As she spoke, she tightened her arms around Nicholas as if afraid that he would leave.
âSilly girl, I was afraid that youâd wake up hungry, so I went to buy you breakfast,â Nicholas replied as he ruffled Nancyâs hair affectionately.
âBut you didnât tell me about it, making me think that it was a dream I had yesterday and that you never showed up here!â Nancy argued. The more she spoke, the more hurt she felt. She was really scared to death when she woke up without seeing or finding him just now.
Understanding how much he had scared the woman in his arms, Nicholas instantly apologized âAlright, I wonât defend myself. Itâs my fault for not being thoughtful enoughâ
Then youâre not allowed to do this again next time, Nancy replied with a pour in an adorable yet assertive 1/3 âOkay.â Nicholas nodded seriously. âI promise you that I wonât leave you all of a sudden without a word next time.â
âWell, thatâs more like it.â Only then did Nancy feel satisfied. Suddenly, she recalled something and added, âAlso, no matter what happens in the future, you canât leave me behind.â
âOkay.â Nicholas nodded.
Seeing him agree to it so readily, Nancy deliberately stomped her foot in displeasure. She said with a stern expression, âNicholas Sallow, I mean it, and Iâm serious about this. If you ever leave me behind. again in the future, Iâll never forgive you.â
âAlright, Ms. Nancy. Iâm serious about this, too,â Nicholas responded. What should I do? I suddenly find the woman in my arms becoming talkative. And yet, even when sheâs chatty, I find her so lovely that I want to kiss her. As he thought so, he acted accordingly, lowering his head and kissing Nancy on the lips to stop her from chattering continuously. Then, he deepened the kiss little by little.
Nancy was stunned at first before she was guided by the man to respond more naturally and skillfully. When their lips parted, her face was as red as a tomato, the color in her cheeks looking incredibly charming. âYou...â Her breathing was unsteady, and she took a moment to catch her breath. After that, she asked, âYou kissed me again?â
Nicholas smiled before leaning toward her again. After pecking her on the lips, he replied, âSilly girl, isnât that what couples do?
Theyâre always unable to control their desire to kiss and cling to each other.â
âBut you...â Nancy pointed to his lips and then to her own. âYouâve kissed me so many times these past few days.â
âIs that a lot?â Nicholas asked deliberately. Then, he answered his own question. âI donât think thatâs a lot, though. Nancy, thatâs what being a couple and being in love is about. Even if we kiss 30 or 50 times. a day, it wouldnât be too much, let alone three to five times. Or do you think thatâs too much?â
âN-No, I donât think so,â Nancy mumbled, her face turning even redder. She didnât admit it aloud, but deep down, she loved Nicholasâ kisses very, very much. It was just that she blushed every single time, whereas he could always remain calm and composed without blushing even once. Suddenly, she discovered something new-she noticed that while his face didnât turn red, his ears did.
Looking at his reddened ears, she suddenly found them extremely cute. She reached out and touched. his cars like a little rabbit, looking as if she had discovered something extraordinary. She exclaimed in surprise, âWow! Nicholas, your ears are really red.
Are you shy right now?â
âNo.â The man refused to admit it.
Nancy didnât believe him, though. She deliberately let out a soft snort, saying, âHmphâ Youâre lying to me. Youâre definitely being shy. This is the first time Iâve seen your cars turn red!â As she spoke, she reached out to touch his ears again.
This time, Nicholas became annoyed, so he reached out and pulled her into his arms. Then, he lowered his head and suddenly took her earlobe in his mouth.
Immediately, a warm, tingling sensation spread throughout Nancyâs body, causing her to melt weakly into his arms like a puddle.
âNicholas is such a jerk to tease me like this! But when did he become so skilled at at He knows Iâm inexperienced and wonât be able to handle this! Heâs doing it on purpose just 2/3 to watch me blush with embarrassment,â she thought. âYouâre a bad guy,â she whispered.
As sharp-eared as Nicholas was, he heard her immediately. He curled his lips, deliberately showing displeasure as he asked, âWho are you calling a bad guy?â
Meanwhile, Nancy wasnât afraid of him finding out. She held her head high and puffed out her chest, looking confident and unapologetic as she replied. âYes, Iâm calling you that.â
Nicholas smiled. Then, he bent down and nibbled on her earlobe. Instantly, Nancyâs ears turned deep red; not only that, but her heart felt like it was going to explode. She had to admit that she couldnât take it anymore. She turned her head to avoid him while softly pleading, âNicholas, please... Stop biting me. Let go of it, will you? Itâs itchy.â
