Chapter 27
Mr. Sallow's Sinful Wife by Maisie Chasey
Chapter 27 Nancy Kissed Him First Nicholas said, âYes, itâs very uncomfortable.â
Suddenly, he opened his red eyes and stared at Nancy lustfully. His voice was rough and low, âBut I will feel even more uncomfortable if you are here âNancy, I am not a gentleman. If you keep staying here, I canât guarantee that Iâll control myself.â
Nancy could only turn around and leave.
She pushed aside the blanket and laid on the bed.
But she didnât feel sleepy at all.
All her thoughts were about Nicholas. She listened carefully to every movement inside.
In half an hour, Nicholas changed the water three times.
He must be very hot and uncomfortable, so he soaked in cold water.
Nancyâs eyes turned red when she thought Nicholasâ eyes were red and his body was extremely hot.
When she thought of how uncomfortable he was, she also felt uneasy.
When he changed the water for the fourth time in the bathroom, Nicholas couldnât help but call Lynn. âSend me the antidote right now.â
âMr. Sallow, what antidote do you mean?â
âMy mother wants me to sleep with Nancy. What antidote do you think?â
Nicholas yelled over, and Lynn opened his mouth in shock, âMadam is great! She just tried her best.â
âCome here immediately after you get the medicine. Donât blame me for not reminding you to hide the antidote. Otherwise, youâll cry when you come later.â
âHow can I cry? Mr. Sallow, you underestimate me.â
After hanging up the phone, Nicholas breathed a sigh of relief.
Now, Nicholas hopes that Lynn will bring the antidote over quickly.
But the longer he waits, the stronger the effects of the aphrodisiac become. He feels more uncomfortable.
1/4 Listening to his muffled groan, Nancy couldnât bear it any longer. She got off the bed, didnât even bother to put on her shoes, opened the bathroom door, and went in.
Nicholasâ eyes were scarlet, and he was holding back desperately, with sweat dripping from his forehead. Nancy suddenly didnât care about anything and poured the water from the bathtub.
Then she replaced it with hot water.
âNancy, what are you doing?â
âI am...â
Nancy couldnât speak but went straight into the bathtub and hugged Nicholas. She whispered in his ear, âI know you are suffering. I donât want to see you suffering so much.â
âIf I want...â Her face was already blushing, and she almost used all her courage for the remaining words. âIf I want to do it, you donât have to endure so hard.â
Nicholas suddenly raised his head, holding back his anger, and looked at her, âNancy, get out immediately.â
âWhy? Is it because you feel uncomfortable?â
She couldnât bear it.
She had given up her pride and self-esteem for him.
She kept telling herself that it wouldnât harm her baby if he could do it gently.
She used so many words to convince herself, but she got his ruthless rejection in the end.
âIf youâre worried about the divorce tomorrow, donât worry. I promise I wonât bug you. After tonight, Iâll act as if nothing happened.â
âIâm not that bastard yet. Get out!â
His voice was so loud and fierce.
Nancy couldnât hold back her tears after all.
I heard people say that this aphrodisiac is very potent. If it canât be relieved, it may be fatal.
Ignoring her tears, Nancy suddenly leaned over and kissed Nicholas.
Her arms wrapped around his neck, and she hugged Nicholas tightly.
âNancy Nicholas held back his anger and pulled her away.
2/4 Those scarlet eyes were filled with great anger. He said, âDonât let me repeat it. Get out now!â
âWhat if I insist on staying here?â Nancy suddenly looked at him and asked stubbornly.
âDidnât you say you loved another man for ten years? Donât you feel wronged that you gave yourself to me? Besides, I canât do anything that makes Madelline sad.â
How can Nancy tell him that another man is not someone else, but itâs him?
âItâs you, Nicholas.
But she wonât say it anymore.
At this moment, she already lost her self-esteem.
No matter how courageous she is, she has no way to try.
She was already embarrassed enough in front of him.
âDonât make excuses from me. I understand. Itâs not that you donât feel uncomfortable or that you are afraid of wronging me. Itâs just because the person you want is Madelline.â
âItâs all because you donât want me.â
Nancy turned around and took her mobile phone. Then she came in again and said, âWell, since you want Madelline so much, Iâll just ask her to come.â
Since what he wanted was Madelline, she just wanted to let him 1.
Itâs all her fault that she loves him so much and canât watch him die.
She desperately told herself that they were going to divorce tomorrow anyway.
Nicholas and Madelline will be together sooner or later. So, there is no difference between one day earlier and one day later.
Even if they donât do it today, sooner or later, they will be doing those intimate things together.
As long as Madelline came and she left far away. Maybe she wouldnât feel pain again.
âHello, Madelline. Iâm Nancy, Nicholas is...â
Just as Nancy got through, Nicholas suddenly walked over, grabbed her phone, and hung up.
He stared at her sullenly and asked, âNancy, be good. When did I say Iâm looking for Madelline?â
She has to be good?
3/4 Nancy raised her head and started to cry.
Isnât she good enough?
Isnât she obedient enough?
She was being good and obedient, but he still blamed her.
So, this is the difference between love and not love.
âNicholas, if you are a man, admit it boldly. We are going to divorce anyway. Since Madelline, there is nothing to hide.â
âYou can go and meet her now.â
you want âI donât want a man to die violently in my room because of love. I canât afford such a crime.â
Nicholas gritted his teeth and looked at Nancy. His eyes could almost burst into flames. âNancy, is this how you look at me?â
âIâll ask you again. Do you want me to spend the night with Madelline?â
Nancyâs heart bleeds as she listens to his words.
Itâs not that she wants him to go, but he loves Madelline.
He didnât want her even though she gave herself. He swore that he would protect Madelline. His love even moved Nancy.
They spent two years of marriage and slept in the same bed.
But in the end, she couldnât even compare to Madelline.
Nancy closed her eyes and nodded heartbrokenly, âYes, I let you go.â
âOkay, you said it yourself.â
Nicholas got up from the bathtub, changed his clothes, opened the bathroom door, and went out.
Nancy suddenly lost her strength when she heard the door closing. She fell to the ground in embarrassment.
She hugged herself tightly, covering her lips desperately with tears dripping down. She felt terribly uncomfortable.
It felt like someone was cutting out her heart with a knife.
âNicholas, you jerk! How could you do this to me?
