Chapter 302 - Siyun Is Back With Vengeance

Mu Xingyu’s knees went weak as she was shocked. She quickly ran towards Li Tongzhi and helped her up from the ground.

“Wake up, mom. What happened to you?”

However, Li Tongzhi showed no sign of waking up no matter how Mu Siyin shouted.

Mu Xingyu panicked. She failed to carry Li Tongzhi and had no choice but to put her down again. Then, she took out her phone and dialed 120 before she ran down to look for Old Madam Mu.

“Grandma! Get up and take a look at my mother!”

Mu Xingyu banged on the door continuously and instantly awakened Old Madam Mu who was sound asleep.

Old Madam’s anger turned into shock the moment she heard Mu Xingyu’s words. She hurriedly got out of bed and put on a coat before she came out of her room.

“What happened to your mother?”

Mu Xingyu shook her head as she flustered. “I don’t know. She went up to look for Mu Siyin but never came down after a long time. So, I headed upstairs to have a look and found her passed out in Mu Siyin’s room. I tried to wake her up but nothing works.”

“Where’s your father?”

“My father’s not around, he went out.”

Old Madam composed herself. “Quick, let’s go up and have a look.”

Old Madam Mu kept up with Mu Xinyu as they rushed upstairs. When they reached Mu Siyin’s room, they hurriedly helped the unconscious Li Tongzhi up from the ground.

Old madam raised her hand to check her breath. Then, she lifted her finger and pinched Li Tongzhi’s philtrum at the middle of her upper lip.

Mu Xingyu frowned and said, “I’ve called an ambulance, grandma. It should be here in a while. Why not we…”

Before Mu Xingyu finished her sentence, Li Tongzhi suddenly let out a soft mumble and slowly opened her eyes.

Mu Xingyu was very surprised. “You finally woke up, Mom! You scared me to death!”

However, Li Tongzhi widened her eyes and shrieked in horror as she saw the two of them. “Ah! Don’t come here! It’s not my fault! I didn’t do it!”

She screamed and pushed Old Madam away. As Old Madam Mu did not expect that, she fell to the ground and almost broke her bones.

Mu Xingyu was shocked to see Li Tongzhi clutching her head frantically and hiding in the corner of the wall.

She did not understand what Li Tongzhi had just experienced. Why was she acting that way?

“I’m Xingyu, mom. Tell me what happened. What did that b*tch, Mu Siyin do to you?”

Just as Mu Xingyu took a step forward, Li Tongzhi screamed even louder. “I was wrong. Please, let me go. I didn’t want to kill her. I didn’t mean it.”

As soon as she said that, Mu Xingyu stood frozen on the ground.

When Old Madam Mu finally got herself up, she fell back to the ground as she heard Li Tongzhi’s shocking words.

She stared at the crazy Li Tongzhi in shock.

Mu Xingyu frowned and asked softly, “What are you talking about, mom?”

Li Tongzhi burst into tears as she clutched her head. “Let me go, Siyun. I really didn’t mean it. I didn’t want to kill her. Please, let me go.”n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

Mu Xingyu was shocked as if she was struck by lightning.

Her eyes widened in disbelief and stood frozen on the ground. She did not dare to move an inch as shivers went down her spine.

Old Madam Mu suddenly had the strength to get up from the ground. She walked up to Li Tongzhi at the corner and said sternly. “Cut the cr*p and take a good look at who we are, Tongzhi!”

When Li Tongzhi heard Madam Mu’s voice, she raised her head unbelievingly. Then, she crawled up to Madam Mu and cried out as she grabbed onto her legs. “Siyun is back with a vengeance, mom. Help me. Please, you have to help me. I’m scared.”
