Chapter 9

I woke up with Sophia and Maddie banging on the door.

"Amelia! Open up!" Maddie and Sophia shouts as they continue to bang on the door.

I get up from bed and open up the door.

"What?!" I shout at both of them as the door opens and they come into view.

"Get ready right this instant" Sophia says as she enters my room and pushes pass me.

"Why?" I ask as Maddie enters and I close the door.

"Today is girls day remember?" Sophia replies as she takes a seat on the bed.

"What time is it?" I ask as I stretch.

"10:00 in the morning" Maddie replies before sitting down beside Sophia.

My eyes widen at the time and I quickly gather my outfit for the day from my bag.

"I will just be quick" I tell them as I rush to the bathroom and I get ready.

Today I decided to wear a white crop top with black shorts and white sneakers along with my black sling bag and shades.

I get out and see Sophia and Maddie laying down on my bed while on their phones.

"So where are we going?" I ask as I take a seat and I put on my make-up.

"Can we eat first?" Maddie asks as her stomach grumbles and we all laugh.

"I saw a cute restaurant a few streets away, we can walk there" Sophia says as we all nod our heads.

"After?" I ask as I start to fix my hair.

"Shopping for tomorrow?" Maddie asks

Sophia and I nod at that due to all of us not having anything for the ball.

"Okay, I am ready" I say as I get up from the chair.

"Let's go" Maddie says as they both get up from the bed.

We all grab our things and we start our walk to the restaurant.

.....A Few Minutes Later.....

We arrived after about 15 minutes of walking, we enter and we take our seats and I must say it is a cute place.

We order our food and we all take  crepes, the difference is the flavor. I chose the Lemon and Blueberry, Maddie chose the Strawberry and Banana while Sophia chose the Mango with chocolate.

"How was your day yesterday?" I ask Sophia as we all start to eat.

"It was fun, good to catch up after some time" she replies and we continue with the conversation until we finished eating.

.....A Few Hours Later.....

We finished eating and we are currently on our way to the mall, however we had to go back earlier to the hotel to get the car.

We enter a shop and we look around. I find three different outfits that I like.

"Did you find anything?" I ask them both while I hold onto the ones I am considering.

"I found four to choose from" Sophia says lifting one of the dresses to show us "How do I decide?"

"I found two" Maddie says

"I found three" I say

"Let's take turns trying each one" Maddie suggests "then let's have a voting at the end about which outfit looks best for each of us"

"That's a good idea, who wants to go first?" I ask them both.

"Me" Sophia quickly says as she makes her way to the fitting room.

She tries each one and we would give our opinions about the dress.

The same thing happened with Maddie and I when we tried ours.

After about 2 hours we already found the 'perfect' dresses for tomorrow.

We decided to have a snack in the mall after all the shopping.

Sophia takes a croissant while Maddie and I take a muffin along with iced coffee for all of us.

After our snacks we start the search for shoes and other accesories. Which ends up taking another two hours.

When we were finally done we decided to go back to the hotel and just relax until dinner time.

.....A Few Hours Later.....

I wake up with the sound of my alarm and I check the time on my phone and I message Sophia and Maddie.

'Are we going out for Dinner?' -A

'Nah, lets order room service in Sophia's room' -M

Maddie is usually the laziest from the three of us so it is no surprise why she would rather order room service than go to a restaurant.

'Okay' -A

I get up and make my way towards Maddie's room while in my pajamas, her room is in between mine and Sophia's so I decided to pass by hers.

"Come on" she says in her pajamas as well and we make our way to Sophia's room.

We knock on the door and it takes time before she opens.

"Finally!" I say and barge in her room and I sit at her bed.

"What took you so long?" Maddie asks sitting down beside me.

"I was asleep, what else do you think? What are you both doing here anyways?" She asks rubbing the sleep of her eyes.

"We're going to have dinner here" Maddie replies

"Let's order, I'm hungry" I say without waiting for Sophia's reply.

We ordered two pizzas and a bottle of wine for the three of us to share while we binge watched some shows on Netflix.

Maddie and I return to our rooms at around 4 in the morning and I immediately fell asleep as soon as my head touched the pillow.

.....The Next Day.....

I wake up and I look at my phone to realize that it is empty. This is what I get for forgetting to charge my phone last night before going to bed.

I plug in my charger and I realize that today is the day of the ball.

We all decided to get a manicure and pedicure today before we get ready.

Finally after a few minutes my phone opens and I see a message from Sophia.

'Change of plans girls, we will be getting ready somewhere else" -S

'Where?' -M

'You will see when we get there just get all the stuff you need and be ready by 10:30' -S

I check the time and it is 9:45 already. I grab my outfit and I head straight to the bathroom.

I decided to just go with a grey crop top with denim shorts and my brown sandals.

I grab all the things that I will need for the ball later and just in time I hear a knock on the door.

I open it to see both Sophia and Maddie with the things they need, I grab mine and we all make our way to the car.

.....A Few Minutes Later.....

We drive for about 30 minutes and we finally made it. I look out the window and I see a salon.

We all get out of the car and in to the salon. Sophia approaches the lady at the front desk while Maddie and I just follow behind her.

"Hi, Sophia Reynolds" she says

"Ms. Reynolds I am Elise nice to meet you, we have everything prepared, you girls will be at the second floor"

"Alright, Thanks" Sophia says

We make our way to the second floor. Thankfully we didn't have to completely bring everything, some people helped us out with all our stuff.

We all made it to the top and a bunch of people started crowding the three of us.
