Jack.

"You're welcome here," Liam says, my body not knowing how to respond to what's going on. I've been alone for so long, and now I've been taken in. I'm only seventeen and I've been a rogue for so long.

"There are seven males. Now eight, including you," he tells me, coming upon a huge wooden cabin a short while later.

"This is the Alpha's house."

I nod and he leads me into the house, a huge man standing in the living room and looking out the window.

"He's talking to someone," Liam explains, the mind-link currently on the man's face one of a haze.

"That's the Alpha. His name is Harry," he says, my hands shoving into my pockets.

When we walk down a hall, I take notice of many pictures and the one girl in the picture is absolutely stunning.

"Who is this?" I ask, his body turning around as I point to the picture of the girl.

"That's Mae. She's the Luna, Harry's mate," he says, my jaw dropping.

"She's small for a Luna," I say, his lips releasing a small laugh.

"She may be small but she took out the beta of the Blue Moon a while back. She's out of town, however. Harry's been restless and was very against it all but she had to take care of something with her grandmother," he says, my eyes looking her over again before we walk down the hall and down the stairs. Multiple man and girls are down here and I awkwardly catch their gazes.

"Everyone this is Jack. He's a rogue but I've invited him into this pack," he says, my head nodding.

"Welcome," someone says, my lips curving. I'm introduced to everyone, but I freeze when the Alpha stands in front of me soon after.

"Who are you?" he asks, my body so small compared to him. Alphas are huge.

"Jack Riley," I say. "Rogue. I was born to a half-blood werewolf and she passed when I was born. My uncle raised me for a short time until I was left alone after my transition at thirteen."

He nods and tells me I'm welcome, his body stalking back upstairs.

The next week I'm finishing training and in the middle of fighting Niall, a white wolf walks onto the property. I lose focus, never seeing a white wolf before. But I'm taken out of the trance when the door slams, Alpha running at the wolf. The wolf shifts, a small girl standing tall and Alpha wraps his arms around her. She's easily lifted onto him and I feel a fist collide with my face.

"Jack, you can't watch them. They love each other and it's gross," Niall says, my face scrunching up. There isn't pain but I'm shaken up. I glance over, seeing the two mates so happy to see each other. I wish I had my mate; the wolf pleasure every wolf envies until they have one.

Harry.

Not a scratch is found on Mae's body, my inspection very thorough. It may or may not have involved clothes.

"I'm fine," she smiles, grabbing my cheeks. Her skin shines post-sex and her lips are perfectly kissable. I'm addicted to her.

"I can see that," I wink, squeezing her bottom. She laughs and I smile, kissing her cheek as she wraps her legs around me.

"We're going to have sex all night, you know?" I smirk, her hand covering my lips.

"Yes. But you don't have to say that," she playfully scolds, my eyes rolling.

"Okay, blue eyes," I grin, her body forcing mine to roll over.

We're laughing and having too much fun together to continue sex, but we remain without clothes because we're so comfortable with each other.

My fingers wind into her hair and I pull her down, kissing her lips. Her hands slide up my chest, my eyes closing. I carefully turn her to lie on her back, my eyes hands separating her legs. Forcing them to wrap around my waist, I push myself into her and she parts her lips. I kiss her lower lip and move through her in her favorite way.

Once we finish, I roll off her and lie on my back. She curls into me and I fall asleep as she runs her hand through my hair.

"Wolfie."

I'm pulled out of sleep when I see Mae kneeling beside me on the bed, my shirt on her body as she looks frazzled.

"What's the matter?" I ask, turning towards her. I move boxers onto my hips and she climbs into my lap, her fingers cold as she wraps her arms around me.

"Nightmare," she whispers, my arms wrapping around her tightly.

"It's alright. I'm here," I whisper, my lips pressing to her neck. I move to have her lay on me and she curls onto me, my hands grabbing her cheeks to kiss the top of her head.

"I love you," she whispers, eyes closing as I wrap her in my arms.

"I love you too, beautiful."

I wake up and see the bed empty, but I can smell Mae in the bathroom. She's showering and I get up, rubbing my eyes before I fall back. I roll so my head's in the pillows and I extend my arms as I stretch.

"That's a hot sight," Mae says, her body walking out of the bathroom a few minutes later.

"What?" I ask, her body climbing onto my back.

"Your muscles and your booty," she says, squeezing my bottom quickly.

I snort, amused at her obsession with my bottom. I love her to pieces though; wouldn't want to be without her.

Mae hides behind me as we confront the beta, James. His fingers are clenched together and he has a scar from where Mae had scratched him running along his face.

"We want to propose a treaty," Liam says, his eyes set on him.

"And I want to kill you all, but I guess we can't all have our ways," he states, my jaw clenching.

"You have no reason to threaten us. You were using cruel punishment against us and we have the right to form a compromise."

Mae squeezes my hands after my words, knowing her pain with this pack was the worst thing either of us has went through.

"Fine. You stay off our land, or we won't hesitate to kill," James grits, my eyes watching him suddenly pause. He stops, almost as if he's trying to hear something.

"It's you," he points, his forefinger directed to my mate. I shove her further behind me and he advances towards her.

"You don't hear that?" he says, listening closer. She shakes her head and I look at him, his lips releasing a laugh.

"Wow. Big, bad alpha can't hear that she's got two heartbeats. Either you have two hearts, or someone's pregnant," he directs to Mae, my heart thumping in my chest.

Mae.

"What?" Harry says, James looking between the two of us.

My heart plummets to the floor, the news something I had only recently found out. I never had a nightmare; I felt sick to my stomach. I then realized I hadn't had my period for two weeks.

"You don't know? How don't you hear the heartbeat?" James snickers, shaking his head. Harry looks shocked and I back away, unable to shift due to my pregnancy.

"Mae, no," Harry whispers, pulling me closer.

"Do we have an agreement?" Harry asks. "No going onto each other's land?"

James nods and they shake hands, Harry turns and pulling me into him. "Why didn't you tell me?"

His lips are pressed to my ear and I wrap my arms around him, his hand tight on my arm.

"Because I just found out and I didn't know how to tell you. I'm scared as hell," I whisper, his eyes looking at me.

"Don't be. You know I want one," he smiles, my lips curving. I'm nervous because I don't want harm to come to my baby.

"I don't want the baby to get hurt," I explain, his lips kissing my temple.

"The baby won't. We have a pack now," he whispers, my body completely flush against him.

He kisses me quickly and I smile, his hand pulling mine into our house. We go upstairs to our room and he shuts the door, kneeling down and putting his ear against my stomach.

"I hear it now. I don't know how I didn't before. It's very prominent," he says, kissing my belly button. I laugh and he smiles, standing up and grabbing my waist.

He kisses me and I smile, moving my hands to his arms. Our kisses are sweet and gentle, his bare torso warm to the touch.

"I love you. Remember that," he grins, my arms wrapping around him. I hug him to me tightly and relish in the moment.

"I love you too. I always will," I say, his arms lifting me carefully to lay on the bed. He changes me into pajamas and he gets ready for bed himself.

He climbs into bed and puts a protective hand on my stomach. He kisses me lightly before I fall asleep, scared to death of what our future will be like.
