Denver's heart stopped for a milli second as he said the word “join” again. “You are Adeline right? Adeline D'Sa? ” Neville said in a form tone. “Neville you know her?”  Denver asked. Xavier was intently looking at the woman. “Yes I am Adeline, Neville, your junior. Remember? ” Adeline said, with her heart beating fast. “Oh Adeline! ” Denver exclaimed, “You look different, you are the top model right after Elena? I heard your name, but had never seen you after college. ” Adeline blushed hard, she turned red, her stunning face looked even more elegant as she made herself comfortable. “After having a glass of brandy we will leave... ” Denver said with a firm tone, indicating to Adeline that they didn't want to include her. She understood that and without saying anything she left. “Sweet voice, ” Xavier said with a loving expression for her. “Will you shut up Xavier? Didn't you see how directly she approached us?” Denver said in a firm tone. The waiter came to Denver's table and took the order. Adelines order had come on her table, but she had already left. “Maam  ... Maam? ” he yelled but she didn't turn back and left. Denver and Neville looked at each other baffeled by what just happened.  Xavier looked at Adeline seeming extreamly infatuated by her. OUTSIDE THE CAFE:“I guess I made him hate me. Elena! ” Outside the cafe Adeline was crying bitterly, narrating a piece of her agony to Elena. “Oh shoot Addy! Sis you go there? Top Cafe De La Riva?” “Yes.” Adeline said in a soft yet guilty tone, knowing that she had spoilt everything. “He wont love me, Eley! ” She added and began crying loudly. “I guess I am not worthy of him. ” she said and cried again. “Addy  ...  ... Addy wait, darling you had to be patient, one needs to be patient with guys. I mean in the matter of getting guys. ” “I  ...  ...  ... Never approached any one, there were guys, who came to me, and I rejected them, I only loved Denver! Since college days. ” Adeline spoke and started crying. “Listen Addy, you didn't lose him, I'll help you, don't worry. I'll tell Nev ... And work something out for you. ” “No Ele no, I messed it up  ... It's okay. ”  “Okay if you need any help them do call me and think again shift me talking to Neville about you and Denny. ” “mmm. ” Adeline replied in a remorse filled tone, and hung up the call. She was feeling as though she had lost everything in life. Denver was who she wished for. About an hour later, Denver, Neville and Xavier finished their talk and left the cafe. Adeline was home by then sipping a cup of hot coffee with tears in her eyes. It was raining heavily that night. Neville reached home late. Elsa was sitting near the window and waiting for him, in their room. He parked the mercedes in his garage and got off the car. It was still raining heavily, as he closed the car door, Edward came running towards him with an umbrella. “Thanks Edward, I phone called you and you came. ” Neville said in a polite tone. He  entered the house and ordered Nancy top prepare a hot cup of coffee for him. She quickly goes to the kitchen and brings one cup in no time. He drank the hot black coffee quickly and rushed top his room upstairs where Elsa was waiting for him. He entered the room, “It's almost 12, and you are still awake? ” “Yes.” “Why? ” “We are not divorced yet! ” “I never asked you about divorce, are you insane? ” “whatever! ” “and? How was your date with Elena? ” “Date? Elena? When? Wait what? ” “here look, its your engagement tomorrow! ” Elsa approached Neville, handing him over her phone. “Anne? What the f*** ! Is that old lady insane! Wait! Does Elena know about this. ” Neville clenched Elsa's phone in his hands and looked at Elsa. He gave Elsa back her phone and walked out. He tried calling Elena but she didn't pick, finally he called Anne, “Do you know what you have done? Elsa and I haven't divorced yet! Are you crazy? ” “oh so you have checked your phone! That's why you managed to dial my number, just check in son in law, how many times I dialled you up. ” Neville hung up the call and saw out through notifications that Anne had called him almost 50 times. He called her up again. “ Does Elena know about it ?” “yes she does, she is very excited about the evening with you. It's just a normal engagement dear, you get the divorce and we will arrange for a fine wedding for you two. " “I won't come! Until grand dad agrees I won't take a step forward, he doesn't know about me divorcing Elsa, so shut the topic up for now. I'll tell you when I am ready. ” Neville said in a wild angry tone, and hung up the call. Meanwhile Anne looked composed, happy and satisfied with what she had done. Anne had invited all her friends for the engagement party. All the preparations had been done easily. Allen heard the conversion between Anne and Neville. “He said he will come. ” Anne said in a happy tone. “ don't you know Anne that, I can hear it all from your phone? He clearly said that he won't come. ” “I will make sure he comes, in return you will, give me a son, the heir of Rosewood family deal! ” Anne said in a well composed tone, Allen seemed to agree. As he thought that after Elena's wedding with Neville, her surgery could be done in a better way. “only after the engagement. ” Allen said to Anne. After her meet with Dr. Cyril, she decided to give it a last try in convincing Allen, and she had succeeded in it. ... Inside Neville's room, Elsa got a text  from an unknown number, reading it her heart pounded and her jaw dropped open.
