Ye Jiuyue just felt like there was no need for Shen Weixing to explain in such detail, so he nodded and conscientiously said, “Then I’ll go back by myself.”

Ye Jiuyue said, “It’s fine.”

Shen Weixing said, “Then call a taxi.”

Ye Jiuyue nodded. “Okay.”

Shen Weixing thought about it. “Nevermind, wait for me a little, I won’t take too long over there. In the afternoon, I’ll drive you back.”

Ye Jiuyue said, “There’s no need.”

“Don’t worry, I’m not asking you to accompany me and show your face. Even if you were willing, I wouldn’t be.” Shen Weixing said, “I’ll first bring you to a room downstairs to rest awhile, you can take an afternoon nap.”

Ye Jiuyue was speechlessly pushed by him to walk out of the room and along by him.

Shen Weixing frequently came over here for filming, and was a little fussy about his living quarters, so he booked a guest room long-term. The interior decor and furnishing had all been changed. Ye Jiuyue looked around the room, then carried his backpack over to the desk.

This hotel guest room’s decor was most likely changed by Shen Weixing; the table had been moved in front of the window, so there was plenty of light. There were even a few books stacked on the table. Ye Jiuyue picked one up and took a look, only to find that it was actually a prep book for the civil service exam, and a lot of the questions had been very seriously answered by someone.

Well, the main thing was that it would be cost-effective. If he went out with Shen Weixing, then the hotel room would definitely be a single room. Everyone laughed and didn’t push it.

But CEO Bing asked again, “How come Shen Laoshi didn’t bring anyone along? Is it a private matter?”

“Not quite, but I’m on a rare break, so I’m taking advantage of that to give my assistant a vacation. Normally, if I don’t rest, they can’t rest either.” Shen Weixing said.

“Recently, it feels like you’re really busy, but you haven’t had any recent jobs, though? And you always let Xiao Tang off on a break, when I ask him what’s happening, he’s not willing to say anything.” Xia Qiu worriedly asked, “Is there something wrong? Although I might not be able to help you, don’t just keep it in by yourself, just talking about it is good too.”

“You over-thought it, aren’t I normally like this? When I’m resting, I often don’t show myself.” Shen Weixing said with a straight face.

Xia Qiu stuck his tongue out at him. “But before, when you rested you just didn’t show yourself in front of the public, you wouldn’t disappear in private as well. You aren’t even posting in the friend circle.”

But, this sort of method wasn’t suitable for Xia Qiu. Xia Qiu had grown up extremely sheltered; how could he stand those disparaging and harsh words? Shen Weixing had tried advising him a few times, then seeing that it had no effect, he didn’t do anything more.

“Na Lai?” Shen Weixing thought about it. “That happened eight hundred years ago, and that character I gave you was a minor side character. Wasn’t the role that he had deleted another character entirely? What does this have to do with you?”

“They all said it’s because they added me that they deleted his character.” Xia Qiu said.

Shen Weixing pressed the elevator floor button for him, and accompanied him till he went in, “You go down first, I’ll go back to my room. I have some stuff to do.”
