chapter 31

Draco POV

Man, she is one hot little fairy and now she has to let me take her on a

date. I will show her a good time. Maybe charm her right out of her

corporate pants. Yummy.

“What was that about?” Lila asks.

I turn to see the minion of Craig behind me being nosey as usual. Why

does Craig keep her around?

“I do not think it concerns you, Lila,” I say.

“Sorry, Draco,” she says.

Nosey little bitch. She needs to mind her business.

“Just do what I asked. Get my prize out of the house now. I want her

loaded and on her way to my house within the hour," I tell her.

“I will get the guys on it. It might take longer than an hour,” she says.

This infuriates me.

“Why? Pick up the box throw it in the van and start driving. I want her

to be there when I get there. I expect you to personally make the ride

with her. Got it!” I demand.

“Yes sir,” she says.

Now I have to wait. Just wait on my prize to be loaded up and then I

will go get Tatina. Then I can have my way with little miss Jayne.

I watch Lila leave. She is headed to the house to get my prize loaded up

and on her way. What a good girl she is. I guess that is why Craig keeps

her around. She is obedient. Maybe I will keep her with me after I take

Tatina.

I walk out to my car. I will give them a few minutes and then I will go to

the house. I know they are planning to raid the house today. I need to

be quick. As long as my prize is out I do not really care. I would like to

help Jayne just to get my auction privileges back, but I will not risk

being caught up in all of this. I guess I am caught up in it. I need to

make sure Tatina does not know I am involved in any way.

I get in my car and start it. I check the time. I will wait five more

minutes. I look behind me and see Glenn. Shit. I have got to get this

party started. I cannot wait any longer. I put the car in drive and leave.

I will take the back way it is quicker. There should not be any traffic

right now. I need to hurry up and get to the house before the vampire

authority raids it. They better get my little prize out before the raid.

I take the back roads speeding to get to the house before Craig runs

with Tatina. He thinks he is slick. He forgets some of can read minds. He

is planning to run. He needed my money to run. Too bad for him. He is

not getting it.

I pull into the drive of the house. I push my code to get into the gate.

The gate opens and I drive up to the house. No one is outside. Good.

Lila is occupied. The van is gone so she and those idiots that work for

Craig are on their way with my prize.

Step one complete my prize is gone and the minions are away. Time for

Draco to play. I open the door. No one is around. I listen for Craig. I

hear nothing but rocking. I follow the sound of the rocking to an

upstairs bedroom

I try to gently open the door.

“Who is it?" I hear Craig call from the other side.

I push the door open. Damn. You sick bastard. I know I am a perverse

piece of shit but this goes beyond that.

“We need to talk?” I say.

He is rocking that fairy in a rocker with a bottle shoved down her

throat. She struggles and he smacks her leg.

“Stop it bitch,” he says to her.

I thought he was in love with her. This is not love. This is something

unnatural

“What do you want, Draco? The idiots have already left with your fairy. I

assume you paid Lila,” he says.

I walk closer to him and this disgusting scene playing out in front of

me.

“I know but there is something we need to discuss,” I say inching closer.

“Draco, as soon as I finish feeding this little bitch I am leaving. No more

auctions for me. I am going to focus on her and our family,” he says.

I step close to him. I can see the light in Tatina's eyes. She is begging

for my help.

“I see. But we still have something to discuss,” I say.

Tatina struggles to push the bottle out of her mouth. Craig smacks her

again. Her legs are covered in bruises. Dried blood and feces are

running down her leg. She smells like urine.

“What is it?” he demands.

“Her. I want her,” I say.

“You cannot have her. She is mine,” he says.

“The vampire authority is on its way here to raid you. They are going to

take her anyway. Let me pay you for her. You can get away clean. I will

take her and she will make me very happy,” I say.

“No, we are leaving,” he says.

Craig tries to stand with her in his arms. I push him back into the rocker.

I put my hand firmly around his neck. “You do not really have an option

here. Give her to me,” I say.

Craig releases his fangs and snarls at me.

“You are no match for me. I am much stronger than you. Take the

money and go,” I say.

He holds on to Tatina tightly. “She is mine,” he demands.

I tighten my grip around his neck. I pick him up out of the rocker by his

neck. He drops Tatina to the floor. She moans as she hits the floor. I

slam Craig against the wall. He is snarling and fighting me. He cannot

break free from me. I hold him in place. I look back to see if Tatina is

okay. She is not moving. I snap Craig's neck. I leave him laying for the

vampire authority to find.

I rush over to Tatina. She is breathing. I grab a blanket from the bed. I

wrap her up tight. We have got to get out of here before the vampire

authority gets here.

I cradle her in my arms. Sorry, love no time to clean you up. We will

take care of that later. I carry her down the stairs and out the front

door. Still no sign of anyone. Not even the vampire authority.

I place Tatina in my car. I buckle her in. I wonder how much of those

drugs he gave her. She is completely in another world.

I get in the car and begin to drive out. As we exit the drive I see them

coming. Shit. I cannot go that way. I turn to head to the interstate.

Sorry, Jayne looks like Tatina is going with me.

“Am I okay?” she mumbles.

"Yes, just rest. You are somewhat safe now,” I say.

She closes her eyes and drifts back off into sleep. I look behind me, we

are not being followed. I turn off on the interstate. Looks like I gained a

houseguest.
