21. Mumbai Darshan(1)

Atharva's POV

My eyes fall on my butterfly when I stepped out of the bathroom.

She was looking super duper cute in her morning face with a bird's nest on her head, sleepy eyes and oversized shirt and pajama.

She was looking at my body so I asked 'like what you see?' Just to tease her.

She instantly turned and bang her head with the door.

I told her to turn around Once I was in my t-shirt. Her cheeks were crimson red from embarrassment and I was enjoying that scene.

I just love the way she gets annoyed by little things. But just hates her guts when she fires back. She has got some attitude which I have to fix. I have to remind her who is the boss here.

After talking to her I came to know that she is going on a tour of Mumbai that too alone. I will definitely not let her go like this.

I wore a casual and comfortable dress for the day and left my room to pick up my butterfly.

SHREYA'S POV

I was very angry with all the things that he said to me. I just hate him. I decided to go alone and booked a cab. I wore a simple dress and left the hotel.

The cab was on time, I settled myself in it and left to have some peace of mind.

After 10 minutes I felt a jolt.

"What happened bhaiya?"

"Don't know ma'am. Let me check"

"Ok"

After 5 minutes he returned and tried to start the cab multiple times but he failed completely.

"Sorry, ma'am. I think it has got some serious faults. You have to go by yourself now".

" But how could you leave me in the middle of the road. You should provide me with a different cab".

"We can't do anything. Sorry. You do not need to pay anything"

Why? Why? Why?

Everyone has ganged up to spoil my mood.

Hm Nahi hai (This is not done)

I left the cab and decided to search for a taxi.

But unfortunately, I was not able to. There was not even a single taxi to be seen.

I walked further

Beep beep

I gave way to the car that was behind me

Beep beep

What the hell do they want? I am already very much irritated.

I turned around to found none other than kukkad sitting in that car.

What is he doing here?

"Want a lift?" He asked

"No thanks," I said and turned around to move further. Oh God the heat from the sun is acting as a cherry on top.

Beep beep

"It will be beneficiary for you if you take my advice and come with me as you are not going to find a taxi here"

"Why?"

"Because today they are on strike".

"What, why?" I was literally shocked

"I don't know I am not a taxi driver"

"Were you following me?"

"Following you? Why would I follow you? I am not a stalker. I was just passing by when my eyes fall on you. If you want you can take my help if not then no problem, I don't have time to waste on you"

He started the engine.

Oh God, what should I do now? I am not able to tolerate this heat and then I am not getting the taxi too.

He moved the car ahead

"W..ww..wait"

He stopped. I sat in and tucked the seatbelt without uttering a single word.

I was hungry like hell as I haven't eaten anything yet.

I saw Jannat (heaven) on the roadside that was the stall of paw bhaji. Oh my...my mouth becomes watery and I become excited.

"Hey stop na please"

"Why?"

"I want to eat that" I pointed towards the stall. He stopped the car and looked outside.

"Are you mad? That is looking unhygienic"

"I don't care."

"But I care"

"You should also try that. All the dishes of 5 stars are nothing in front of it. You have never lived life if you have never tasted this street food"

"You are not going to eat this. That's it "

"I will". I left the car before he can put his favorite thing on that is child lock .

I went to the paw bhaji wale bhaiya ordered one plate and put a small bite with lots of bhaji in my mouth.

Oh God, heaven. This is so so tasty. I was not able to resist and took a big bite and put that in my mouth.

'Cough cough'

The food got stuck in my windpipe.

'Cough cough'

Oh God

Someone gave me a water bottle. I took it and was feeling better.

" I told you not to eat this cheap unhygienic roadside bhaji but you didn't listen to me" Kukkad scolded me while taking the water bottle from my hand.

"Don't blame my bhaji. That was my mistake, I was eating in a hurry"

"Are you a kid? Don't you know how to eat food"

"Let me eat my food" I started eating to change the topic.

He was starting me. I offered him food

"Want some?"

"No thanks. I am not going to even touch this filthy thing"

'Grr grr'

His stomach was churning. That means he is hungry too. A laugh left my mouth.

"But your stomach is saying something else. Haha"

He looked at me with so much seriousness like he is going to eat me right now.

"Ok so don't touch this filthy thing but you can eat it without touching too"

I extended my hand as much as I can to reach his mouth with a bite in it.

He looked at me for a few seconds and when I didn't remove my hand, he opened his mouth.

Yippie...I won. Finally, he ate street food.

"You know what?"

"What?"

"You are really an annoying and stubborn person"

"Thank you so much" I shifted my lips up for flashing a fake smile.

He moved his hands up and touched my lips and my smile got vanished in a second.

Atharva's POV

I told the cab driver to stop the cab in between the road and say no to take the journey further so that I can pick her up.

But she is very irritating person. She wants to eat that dirty roadside food. She is completely insane.

She didn't listened to me even 1% and left to eat that dirty food. And now she is coughing madly.

I took the water amd ran towards her. She drank it and started eating again.

I scolded her which she ignored again.

While eating she was looking like a cute little kid who has got his favourite chocolate.

My stomach churned and she laughed. Her laugh was feeling like a music to my ears.

She offered me the food. But I told her sternly that I am not going to touch that unhygienic shit.

She offered me the food with her hand.

I was fighting a battle in my mind to eat or not to eat that thing.

She was looking damn innocent while extending her little hand towards me so I accepted her offer.

"You know what?"

"What?"

"You are really an annoying and stubborn person"

"Thank you so much" Uff her attitude.

There was food on her lips so I moved my hand to remove it.

I felt a spark in my body when my thumb touched her lips.
