Obsessive CEO’s Sinful Wife by Lil’ Bamboo
Chapter 380
Jackson walked up to her with the plate of food and placed it in front of her. âSis, if you want to know where your r buried, finish this.â
Serenity abruptly lifted her head and stared at him in astonishment.
What did he mean by that? Could it be..
âDo you know where my momâs buried?â
âIâll tell you after you eat your food,â replied Jackson
motherâs
Serenity was energized in an instant. She picked up the plate and began devouring everything on her plate. The sight of her eating like this made Jackson turrow his brows. She wasnât acting like her usual self.
Still, this proved how important her motherâs gra
was to her.
Wearing a slight frown, Jackson inspected the tear stains on her face, as well as her swollen eyes, which had become worse than before.
Did that mean she started crying again after he left the room earlier?
âSlow down, even if your motherâs grave was moved to the North Pole, Iâll still bring you to her!â assured Jackson. âOn the other hand, youâd waste more time if you chaled on your food.â

As if she was struck by lightning, Serenityâs body jolted, and her hands froze up. A moment later, she resumed eating, but at a considerably slower speed.
Jackson kept watch of her from the sidelines. When she finished her food, he pulled out a napkin and carefully wiped the comer of her lips
âIâve⦠Iâve finished eating. Tell me, where is my mother buried?â asked Serenity with urgency, expectation, and anxiety in her eyes.
She was worried that her expectation would be shattered once more and that Jackson wouldnât be able to locate her motherâs
Erive.
He raised his arm and gently wiped her cheek. His fingertips were wet from her tears.
âLetâs go wash your face. Your mother wonât be happy if she sees you like this,â he reminded her.
âBut
âWhatâs the matter? You donât believe that Iâd bring you to your motherâs grave?â jackson pouted his lips slightly. âAside from me, thereâs no one you can trust. Only I can bring you to the place youâre looking for so desperately.â
Serenity stared at him for a while before she got up and walked over to the bathroom. Inside, she tumed on the faucet and gazed into the mirror. She saw her red and swollen eyes, the tear streaks running down her cheeks, and the messy fringe that covered her forehead.
Jackson wasnât lying. She did look like she was in shambles. If her mother saw the state that she was in, she would definitely be sad.
But was Jackson telling the truth when she said he could bring her to her motherâs grave? Was he really going to help her without asking for anything in return?
She felt restless. Even so, she had no clanice but to follow him. After all, he really was the only person lett that she could trust.
After washing her face, Serenity walked out of the bathroom to find Jackson sitting on the sofa. He was swiping through her phone.
âSo your fatherâs asking for fifty million dollars in return for the whereabouts of your motherâs grave?â
âYeah,â replied Serenity as she lowered her head.
