“Who’s that? Your goon?” The woman mocked as soon as she saw Serenity.

Serenity frowned and turned to her best friend. “Lisa, what’s going on?”

“Ignore her,” said Lisa.

The young woman instantly lashed out like a powder keg that was ignited, “What? You shameless b*tch! How dare you seduce my boyfriend! I bet if I hadn’t caught you in the act, you would have stripped naked and jumped into his bed!”

She pointed her finger at the cowering man. “I’m telling you, even if you gift-wrapped a man like that and delivered him to my bed, I still wouldn’t want him. “Really? What did you see?” asked Serenity.

“I saw her and my boyfriend having a private meeting in a fire escape staircase,” said Jessica.

“People pass by a fire escape staircase all the time. That doesn’t count as a private meeting; it’s just a normal chat. Do you have any substantial evidence? For example, video or audio evidence which proves that my friend behaved inappropriately towards your boyfriend? Otherwise, it’s slander,” Serenity explained methodically.

Jessica Jordon instantly became enraged. Serenity’s words were like a slap to her face. She yelled, “You must be a wh’re who seduces men left and right like her too!”
