She overheard the conversation between Serenity, Zeke Shaw and Jenny Hall by accident, so she spent some time looking up various news articles about Zeke Shaw and Jenny Hall on the Internet. Peter Wall’s face turned red.

Quinn continued to mock Serenity. “But Zeke Shaw probably wants to puke when he sees Serenity now since she’s a sanitation worker. Tsk tsk, I wonder if Zeke Shaw throws up when he thinks of how intimate they used to be.”

Serenity looked at Quinn coldly. “Are you done?”

“What? Are you going to deny that you were in jail or that you’re Zeke Shaw’s ex-girlfriend?” asked Quinn condescendingly. “You’re an ex-convict! Stop acting innocent!”

“I am an ex-convict. So what? As for whose ex-girlfriend I am, it’s none of your business. Besides, who says I can’t date someone just because I’m a sanitation worker? Are you saying that being a sanitation worker will only make people puke?”

Serenity attacked her with question after question. “Quinn, you’re an office worker, but that doesn’t mean you can look down on my career!”

Quinn could find no retort.

There were many sanitation workers in the vicinity, and they were all staring at her! Usually, office workers like her tend to have a sense of superiority, but it was not something that could be spoken out loud, especially with so many sanitation workers around.
