“Do you think she’ll want to stay with me?” Jackson asked.

Connor was slightly surprised. “Do you want Ms. Lewis to stay with you?”

“Isn’t the game over once Mr. Valor tells Ms. Lewis who he really is?” Connor thought. He wondered if Mr. Valor. Perhaps he had special feelings for Ms. Lewis?

Connor’s eyes grew wide at the thought. “Mr. Valor, are you…” Connor gaped and paused his question abruptly.

“What do you want to say? Say it!“Jackson ordered.

“Mr. Valor, are you in love with Ms. Lewis?” Connor asked honestly.

Connor thought that was why Mr. Valor had been so passionate about this game. Maybe that was why he had secretly done so many things for her. That would explain why he wanted her to stay with him even after the game was over.

Jackson’s expression gradually froze.

In love with Serenity? How could that be? How could he fall in love with a woman?

His father was already a good example. One should never fall in love with anyone. He should protect his dignity and not let anyone trample over it.

Just then, a woman dressed in beautiful clothes and elaborate makeup approached Jackson and started talking to him.

Caleb had thought that his friend would refuse. Who knew that Jackson would let the woman sit beside him?

Caleb’s eyes were popping out of his head. He thought Jackson was not interested in women. Why was he willing to let a woman get close? Had he changed?!

Caleb backed off in good grace and walked to the side as he looked at another man sitting on the couch. The man was playing with a silver bracelet in his hand.

“Hey, is Jackson finally interested in women now?”

The man with the silver bracelet raised his eyes and swept his gaze over Caleb indifferently as he said, “Why don’t you ask him about it?”

Caleb rubbed his nose, Clearly, he did not dare to ask.

“By the way, you’re a fully grown adult yet you still wear a silver bracelet all day. Aren’t you afraid of being laughed at?” Caleb tried to reach for the silver bracelet in the man’s hand as he spoke.
