Chapter 145
The Beginning Of All Sins
Olivia didnât protest when Hillary spoke. Tyler then turned to Hillary and asked, âIs she agreeing to this on her own?â
âWhy donât you ask her?â Hillary replied, gesturing to Olivia.
Enduring Hillaryâs intense gaze, Olivia lowered her head and eventually approached Tyler. âIâm okay with it.â
Hillary smirked, Darren appeared torn with guilt.
Tyler showed no reaction. âYou know the sort of document an IVF needs, right?â
âI know.â
âAnd youâre still sure about this?â Tyler questioned, noting Hillaryâs watchful eyes on Olivia.
âYes,â Olivia replied.
Tyler knew Hillary was pressuring her, but her quick agreement also took him aback. âDo you realize how young you are?â
Was she aware of the potential consequences of jeopardizing her own future like this?
Hillary noticed Oliviaâs hesitation and intervened, âItâs just a certificate, isnât it? It can be annulled once Naomi recovers. The sisters are close, so of course Oliviaâs sure of her decision.â
But who would believe a young college woman suddenly having a marriage certificate? Olivia remained silent, realizing no one cared about her, not when Naomiâs life was at stake.
âMrs. Jones is right. Iâm sure of it,â she said.
Tylerâs expression darkened. âNo, you need more time to think.â
Hillary was frustrated by Tylerâs constant questioning. Why couldnât he just accept it?
The doctor approached ahd called for Tyler, who left without another word, brushing past Olivia.
Hillary stepped closer to Olivia, her tone harsh, âYou owe Naomi, donât you forget that!â
Feeling the weight of Hillaryâs words, Olivia closed her eyes. If glares could kill, sheâd be gone.
Ana watched everything from the end of the hallway, unnoticed.
She smiled. The marriage drew closer each day, a necessary sacrifice to save Naomi.
Turning away, Ana left the hospital.
That night, Olivia returned to Sandalwood Palace. Tylerâs assistant had been waiting for her.
âMr. Tyler wants you to reconsider carefully,â the assistant relayed.
Olivia understood it was Tyler giving her one last chance.
She trembled. âDo I even have a choice?â
