Chapter 203
The Beginning Of All Sins
Maisy was really sad to see Olivia looking so weak. She hugged her and said, âYou canât keep going like this, sweetheart. You need to eat more.â Then she turned to Tyler, âDidnât you promise to take good care of her, Tyler? Why has she lost so much weight so quickly?â
Maisy wasnât kidding around; she was seriously upset. Olivia squeezed her hand when she heard this.
âItâs me. I just donât feel like eating, Grandma,â Olivia explained.
Tyler took Maisyâs words seriously and replied calmly, âI was actually hoping to get some advice from you.
âAdvice? This is happening because you need to pay more attention to her. Youâve been neglecting her, and thatâs why sheâs feeling this way. You obviously didnât care that the baby was doing this to Olivia,â Maisy told him.
âMmâhmm, youâre right,â Tyler went along with her.
Maisy felt really upset. âWhy donât you let Olivia stay with us? Iâll look after her.â
Tyler thought about it for a moment. Meanwhile, Olivia didnât like that idea and looked at him, hoping heâd say no.
Seeing her look, Tyler said, âItâs peaceful here. Letâs keep her here so she can rest. Sheâs been very sensitive lately, and a new place might make her feel worse.â
Olivia was relieved to hear that.
Maisy could tell Olivia didnât want to move, so she didnât push the idea. âAlright, do what you think is best,â she responded.

Then, she arranged for her chef to come to Sandalwood Place and cook for Olivia.
Maisy hugged Olivia, feeling sorry for her. Olivia relaxed quietly in her embrace.
Noticing this, Tyler said, âStay with her.â
Maisy nodded and kept comforting Olivia.
Tyler watched them for a while before he left the room.
Maisy spent the afternoon with Olivia, giving her lots of jewelry. Olivia didnât know how to say no, even though she felt awkward.
Olivia felt a bit better the next morning. At breakfast, she asked Tyler if she could go for a walk.
Tyler poured her some orange juice and said, âOf course, you can go wherever you like.â He was still in his pajamas, sitting across from her, and he didnât have to leave yet.
âAnywhere will do,â Olivia said.
âDo you want me to come with you?â
She quickly said, âNo, thanks. Iâd rather go alone.â
âShould I get the maid to go with you?â Tyler asked.
Olivia accepted the suggestion. âOkay.â
Tyler gave her a gentle warning, âJust be careful not to go anywhere too crowded.â
Olivia looked a bit better today and nodded in agreement.
