08: Cousin's Meetup

(I'm really sorry for the late update. I was out of town attending a wedding and net there sucked so I was just waiting to return back home and start uploading so here you go)

Zaviyaar's pov:

I went for breakfast. Everyone was already there having breakfast.

'Zaviyaar bhai Aaliyana ke gharwalo ne jawab dedia hai' zayyan said.

(Zaviyaar Aaliyana has given her answer for the marriage proposal)

I was worried maybe Aaliyana had said NO. I can't even imagine that.

THINK POSITIVE ZAVIYAAR THINK POSITIVE.

'Balke main apko kyu bata raha hoon I think you are not interested' he said.

(Wait, why I am even telling you this you aren't even interested)

I just wanted to know her answer. I want to kill him.

'Hn Zayyan choru he isn't interested in knowing her answer' mom said.

(Yeah Zayyan leave he isn't interested in knowing her answer)

I couldn't believe my family. They are crazy.

"Arrey bas kardo kitana tang karo gaye meray bache ko" dadi said.

She is the only one who understands me.

(Okay now stop don't tease my child anymore)

"Aaliyana has said YES congratulations" mom said.

I was relieved plus I was happy.

I felt some tingling sensation in my stomach. I've heard people calling it butterflies but I wasn't sure about it.

Everyone started congratulating me.

Soon I left for the office. There I met Azlaan.

'Zaviyaar I need treat ASAP' he said when I told him Aaliayana had said yes.

'Per kis khushi main?' I asked

(But what's the occasion)

'Bro Aaliyaana has said YES' he said

'Okay fine we'll go for brunch tomorrow' I said at working at my laptop.

'Yayayayya' he said

'Now stop your drama and tell me when the meeting is. I said.

He told me about my schedule.

I finished all the office work and went home. Chachu's family has also returned from the wedding.

Chachu's Family will be soon moving to England because he always wanted to live there.

They congratulated me on my BAAT PAKKI. We all got seated for the dinner.

I had dinner and went to my room to sleep.

AALIYANA'S POV:

I went downstairs just to see my phopho sitting with her family. I know why she was here but I didn't want to meet anyone at this time. Ughhh

'Aaliyana kesi ho meri bachi?' phophu asked

(Aaliyana how are you my child?)

'Main theek hoon ap kesi hain uncle kese hain? Noor aur Arsal ko bhi le ati. Main jab se ai un dono se nhi milli' I said.

(I'm good. What about you? How's uncle doing? You should've brought noor and arsal with you. I haven't met since I came back)

My phophu isn't like the typical phophu. She is very sweet and loves me the way she loves noor (her daughter).

Noor is the sweetest girl I know. Our vibes match. Meanwhile arsal is the exact opposite. He is the mischievous one. Just like Daniyal.

'Uncle bilkul theek hain. Noor aur arsal bhi ate honge. Kahan thi tum main kab se intezzar karhi hoon main' she said.

(Uncle is doing well. Noor and Arsal must be on their way. And where were you I was waiting for you)

'Woh main phone per ba-' daniyal didn't let me complete.

(I was on the phone tal-)

'Hn hn bata jiju se baat karhi thi' daniyal said entering in the hall with noor and arsal.

(Yeah tell you were talking to bother-in-law)

I tried ignoring Daniyal and went to hug noor.

Keyword: tried

'Ab kyu mil rahi hai itane dino se wapis ai howi hai ye nhi ke apni cousin se hi milne chali jao' Noor said

(Why are you meeting me now? You are back for many days you should've come and met me)

"Yar bas busy thi" I said

(I was busy)

'Hn hn bhai ab tu busy hi hoon gi jiju jo mil gaye hain' she said. I rolled my eyes then I met Arsal.

(Yeah now you'll be busy as you've got brother-in-law)

'Daniyal kuch bata rahe the Aaliyaana kis se baat karhi thi phone per' arsal said looking at me mischievously bringing the topic back.

(Daniyal you were telling, aaliyaana was talking to someone on the phone)

NOT AGAIN

Arsal and daniyal always used to team up against me and noor. Ahmed bhai used to save us but unfortunately he had gone to go a business trip he left this morning.

'No I was talking to Malaika' I said.

I would never talk to zaviyaar I hate him.

The moment I took Malaika's name I saw Daniyal was trying to control his smile. Something felt weird

'Oh okay' daniyal said.

That was weird because daniyal never behaved like this.

'Aaliyaana how's malaika doing? I haven't met her since a very long time' phophu said

Everyone in the family knows about Malaika. Everyone likes her so much.

'She's doing well and she's a little busy.' I said.

I looked at daniyal his face had a weird sort of expression which I wasn't able to understand.

Soon we all had lunch. We talked a lot. I told some funny incidents I had when I was in Canada. They went back to their house in the evening. I requested noor to stayover but she had her academy test tomorrow so she had leave. She promised she'll visit me soon.

TIME SKIP TO NIGHT

Malaika called me and asked me to give her treat for my baat pakki she wasn't taking no for an answer so we planned a day out.
