The Brown Tale ✓
Here we go, the last chapter. Happy 101k reads *kisses*
AALIYANA'S POV:
My eyes flickered when I felt sun rays dancing on my face. I adjusted my eyes to the light only to see the best sight. Zaviyaar was sleeping soundlessly on my right side. I moved my hand towards his hair and ruffled it. His messy hair is a big turn-on for me. He slowly opened his eyes.
"Good morning, Sweetheart," he kissed my forehead.
"Morning," I nuzzled into his chest.
"You slept well?" I nodded. "Does it hurt?" I shook my head.
"You shouldn't go hard when you are afraid to hurt me," I murmured.
"It's you who wants it raw and unfiltered," Zaviyaar exposed me.
"Haww, as if -," I realized I shouldn't complete it.
"As if what Sweetheart?" His voice was hoarse, it sent shivers down my spine. He made me look at him.
"Sharm karlo ab ap budhe ho gaye ho," do I regret calling him old? No!
(Have some shame you are old now.)
"Did you just call me old?" He was shocked.
"Budhe ka matlb old hi hota hai," and before I could sense anything his lips were on mine. The kiss wasn't slow, it was demanding. He broke the kiss when I was breathless. (Old man means that you are old.)
"This was a demo of what this old man can do?" I pressed my lips to control my laugh.
"Bahut hasi aa rahi apko?" He raised his eyebrows. (Aren't you laughing too much?)
"Nahi nahi," I was trying hard not to laugh. (No, no.)
"I love you, Sweetheart," he kissed my forehead.
"I love you more," I said.
"I doubt that I will always love you more," I rolled my eyes while blushing.
"You in my shirt blushing while I flirt with you is the best thing ever," he whispered in my eyes. I bet my face, ears, and neck would have turned red.
"Zaviyaarrrrrr," I hid my face in his chest. I could hear his laugh. The next moment we heard the baby monitor make a sound.
"Go and have a look at him," he nodded and left the room and came back with Aryan who was busy talking in a gibberish language.
"Sharam nahi aati, humra romance kharab karte howe," I rolled my eyes.
(Aren't you ashamed of ruining our romance?)
"Owaahh," Aryan looked at Zaviyaar. I couldn't help but laugh.
"Give him to me," he handed me, Aryan.
"Aww my baby, Is my baby hungry?" Aryan looked at me with his sparkling eyes. I pulled down my shirt to feed him. Aryan got busy with his business.
"That's my place, just reminding you," this man needs a filter.
"Zaviyaar, I'll definitely get you a filter for your birthday," I rolled my eyes at him. Zaviyaar's birthday is coming up and I have planned a small surprise for him.
He looked at us and moved towards the washroom, till the time he came back. Aryan was sleeping close to me. Aryan looks completely like Zaviyaar, his carbon copy. I kissed her cheeks when he nuzzled his face into my chest. I smiled looking at him.
"Aaliyana, that's my place," not again. I don't know when he came out of the washroom.
"Zaviyaarrr," I eyed him that he was sleeping. He sighed.
"Can you please go wake Zara up," he nodded and left the room.
ZAVIYAAR'S POV:
I was busy getting Zara ready when Aaliyana entered the room.
"Is she ready?" I nodded, and she moved towards us.
"Where's your son?" I questioned her.
"Our son, Zaviyaar," yeah, yeah it's the same thing. "And he's sleeping."
"Baba," Zara called me. I hummed. Aaliyana looked at her.
"Baba, your wife scolded me yesterday," Aaliyana glared at her.
"Is that so?" Zara nodded. So that's the reason Zara ain't talking to Aaliyana.
"Zara," Aaliyana called her name in a harsh tone. I glared at Aaliyana. How can she scold my daughter? I mean our daughter.
"Zaviyaar, ask her what she did?" Aaliyana said.
"Baba, I did nothing, I just replied to Maria," who's Maria?
"Zara, she's older than you, and you should call her Maria Aunt," Aaliyana said.
"Baba, I did nothing," Zara had tears in her eyes.
"Dramatic, just like him," Aaliyana whispered under her breath but I heard it.
Zara was ready. I told her to go downstairs and we'll join her.
"Aaliyana," she looked at me.
"Zaviyaar, if you are about to scold me because I scolded our daughter then don't because I would never want her bad. I love her the same as you, but please don't stop me from scolding or else she will be spoiled, which is already because of you," she said.
"She ain't spoiled," Zara isn't spoiled. She's one of the most cooperative children I know.
"Zaviyaar,"
"Aaliyana, if she wants something, then I'll get her that; if that spoils her sorry, I can't stop it," I'll get whatever she needs.
"Jo karna aap karo mere se baat na karo," she huffed and moved out of the room.
AUTHOR'S POV:
Aaliyana left Zara's room huffing; Zaviyaara didn't get her point that she wanted to make her daughter a good human being. If she misbehaves with someone, she needs to be corrected but he doesn't like it when someone scolds her daughter.
Aaliyana doesn't want her daughter to be a spoiled brat. She wants her to be a well-mannered girl, but Zaviyaar thinks he does not love her daughter the way he does. Aaliyana knows his love for his daughter but he needs to understand this too.
She doesn't know why but this made her cry. I harshly wiped her tears when she heard someone entering the room.
"Aaliyana," don't cry don't cry, she repeated these words as a mantra in her brain. She nodded with her head ducked down.
"Look at me," Zaviyaar's voice was demanding. She moved towards the washroom without looking at him. He took big steps, held her wrist, and stopped her. He made her look at him.
"Liyana, why are you crying?" He got worried.
"Apne pareshan kar rakha hai mujhe," she sniffed. (You have annoyed me.)
"Aap Ko pareshan nahi karunga toh kisko karo ga," he wiped her tears. (If I won't annoy then who would I?)
"Zaviyaarrrr, aisa na kiya karein," she hid her face in his chest. (Don't do it.)
"Ab se nahi karo ga," knowing that he would do it again. (I won't.)
They got ready and went downstairs with Aryan. They were in the hall when Mom and Dad were talking to Zayyan on the video call.
"Sweetheart you look gorgeous," Zaviyaar said.
"Sawiiethiart, eu ouk orgeous," they smiled at Aryan trying to say the whole sentence.
"Mama's boy," Zaviyaar said.
"Do you have a problem with that?" Aaliyana raised her brows.
"No, he's my little champ," he took him from Aaliyana. Aaliyana smiled at him.
"Hey, little champ," Zaviyaar called Aryan.
"Ba..ba... baba," Zaviyaar made him sit in his lap. Aaliyana moved towards Zara, she was busy with her breakfast. Soon the four got settled in the car.
At first, they dropped Zara off at her school. They always wonder why Zara is excited to go to her school. Then Zaviyaar dropped Aaliyana and Aryan to Aaliyana's office. And finally, he drove to his office.
Most of the time Zara goes with the driver and the couple go to the office in their respective cars as their ways are completely different but a few days back Zara complained that they never drop her off at the school, so Zaviyaar decided to drop her to the school daily, if not daily then at least 4 times a week.
"Sir, Azlaan sir is here to meet you," Zaviyaar smiled, listening to Azlaan's name. He's still his best friend but he doesn't work under him anymore. He wanted to start something on his own. So he opened his restaurant.
"Look who's here," Zaviyaar said entering into his cabin where Azlaan was sitting. He smiled.
"How's Bhabhi and kids?"
They catch up on their lives. Two years back, Azlaan got married to his long-distance girlfriend, and they had a baby boy - Dayaan, last year.
He soon left. Zaviyaar's manager informed him about the meeting with Baigs. Zeeshan Baig is one of the best businessmen he knows. His way of work is similar to Zaviyaar's. They didn't know but their dad's friends. So it was easy for Zaviyaar to catch up with him.
Aaliyana messaged him and informed him that she would be picking Zara up from school. Aaliyana sometimes gets tired as it's hard for her to manage two kids and a whole company.
Zaviyaar helps her hand in almost everything, but at the end of the day, both kids need their mama to be with them all the time.
"Sir, you have two more meetings, and you are good to go," Zaviyaar's manager broke his trance. Zaviyaar just gave him a nod. He decided to message Aaliyana to tell her he would be late.
He reached out for his phone. The wallpaper made him smile. A picture - it is a picture taken right after the delivery of Aryaan, where Zaviyaar was holding him while looking at Aaliyana. Meanwhile, Zara and Aaliyana were busy looking at small Aryan.
Zaviyaar messages that he will be late, and she replies after a while with an okay.

AALIYANA'S POV:
"Mamaaaa," my 1-year-old son- Aryan cried. I was engrossed in my laptop doing my office work when I heard his cry. I look at him. He had tears falling from his eyes and Zara had a mischievous look on her face.
"Mama.. ara eye ee," I was trying to understand what he was saying, but the moment he pointed towards his cheek, I got it. She had bit his cheek. I don't know what's her obsession with biting cheeks.
"Zara?" I said her name in a harsh tone. I glared at her.
"It's not a big deal, Mum; Azaan never complains if I bite his cheeks," she answered back. This is all because of Zaviyaar, that she's answering me back. I don't want her to be ill-mannered. And who is Azaan?
"Azaan?" I gave her a questioning look.
"Azaan, your friend's son," she meant Azaan Mirza. I shook my head at her antics.
I picked Aryan up, and he gently sat on my lap, giving me a toothy grin. I pecked his cheeks.
"Mama, you don't kiss me anymore," Zara huffed.
"Come here," Zara came near me and I pecked her cheeks. And never-ending obsession with bites and pecks. And yeah teddy bears.
"Where's Baba?" Zara looked at me.
"He's at the office," I caressed her hair. Zaviyaar has been way too busy with his office these days. I took a day off as I wasn't feeling well. My trance was broken when I heard my phone ringing.
It was Zaviyaarr. I picked it up and Zara got down from my lap.
"Hello, Sweetheart, how are you?" he asked.
"Aap mere se baat na karo," I was still angry at him for not meeting me in the morning. (Don't talk to me.)
"Liyana kya howa hai?" as if he doesn't know. (What happened Aaliyana?)
"Pouch toh ais tarah rahe hain k aap ko nahi pata?" I huffed. (You are asking as if you don't know.)
"Meri Jaan, I'm sorry; I won't do it again," I smiled. (My love, I'm sorry.)
"I'm good. When are you coming home?" I ignored his apology.
"I have a meeting with the Baigs, I'll be home in half an hour,"
"Did you take your medicine?" Oh shit, I forgot.
I hummed.
"Don't lie, Aaliyana; I know you didn't take it," I sighed.
"Hn ap bas gussa karlo," I said. (Stop being angry at me.)
"Agar gussa na kiya karo phir kya kiya karo?" (I shouldn't be angry at you then what should I do?)
"Pyaar," I know he would be blushing.
(Love me.)
"Woh toh already karta ho, Zara and Aryan are proof of that," I blushed hard.
(That I already do, our kids are living examples.)
"I wish I could see you blushing," this man.
"Ap na-," I couldn't find the appropriate words. (You-)
"Complete your sentence, sweetheart,"
"Leave it," I huffed. I could hear his laugh.
We talked a bit and hung up the call.
"Mama, your son is teasing me," omg they can't stand each other. I wonder what they will do when they grow up.
"Aryan," he looked at me with his teary eyes. Aww, my baby.
"Mama," Zara called me. I nodded looking at her.
"When will we go to Aisha's aunty house?" Why does she want to go there- oh Azaan.
"Why do you want to go there?" I caressed Aryan's hair.
"Nothing special," she shrugged her shoulders.
"Mum, you know Azaan is ill-mannered," from where did this Azaan start?
"How do you know that?" I raised my brows.
"He never talks, like he talks but very less. I thought he was mute but then I heard him speaking to her younger brother," she continued her coloring on her paper while telling me the story.
"I want to tell you and Baba something," she gathered all of my attention.
"Okay, let your baba come," Aryan was busy sucking his fist. I smiled looking at him.
Plus, Zaviyaar's birthday is coming, and I have decided to do something for him. And it's a task for me to hide something from.
I heard the phone ringing. It was Facetime from my two girls. I picked it up, and we talked for a while when I heard Zaviyaar entering the room.
I smiled looking at him. Oh shit, the medicine; I hope he doesn't ask about it.
"Did you have your medicine?" I gulped.
"I was about to have it," he glared at me.
"Ba... baba," Aryan called him.
"Hey, little champ," he picked him and I went to take the medicine.
When I came back, Zara was busy telling Zaviyaar about her day at the school and Aryan was saying something in his gibberish language.
"Ma...mama...mama," Aryan started his mama mama mantra the moment he saw me. I picked him up.
"G mama ki jaan," I pecked his cheeks.
(Yes, mama's love.)
"Aaliyana who's Azaan?" Not again.
"Azaan Mirza," I told him. He made an 'o' .
"Mum and Baba," Zara called us. We looked at her.
"The thing is-" she took a pause "I kissed Azaan today at school," what did she just say?
"A peck on the cheek," she explained. But a kiss is a kiss. Oh my goodness.
"Zaviyaar," I looked at him. He fainted! What?
"Baba??" Zara called him.
I got up and took a glass of what and threw it at him. He got up with a jolt. I could hear Aryan's giggles.
"Baba, don't be dramatic; it isn't a big deal," Zara rolled her eyes. She is acting like a brat now! I don't want Zaviyaar to spoil her.
Zaviyaar was shocked. I called him. I told Zara to go to her room. Zaviyaar was still in shock. I placed a small peck on his lips. To bring him back to reality.
"Sweetheart," he finally called me.
"Zaviyaar, chill she's just a kid," I tried to calm him down.
"Yeah, she's just a kid," he rubbed his temples. He was terrified I guess. I couldn't help but laugh at him.
"Aaliyana, you think this is funny," I shook my head. I decided to tease him.
"Zaviyaar, look, I mean, she has to find a partner one day and leave us," I teased him.
"I'll find her a trophy husband," I rolled my eyes at him.
"Okay, now calm down and take a bath," I got up but he stopped me.
"You can join me if you want," he smirked. I sighed.
"I'll decline the offer if I have work," he huffed and moved towards the washroom. I looked at Aryan who was almost asleep. I made him sleep and went to the washroom after him.
â.Ëâ®Ë .â®Ë.â
"Zaviyaar," I called him.
"Aaliyana, my sweetheart, don't stress yourself," he said. Tomorrow I have a meeting with the Russos and I am nervous. If we get this deal, it will skyrocket our company, and if we don't - let's not go there.
"I'm really nervous," I looked at my shivering hands. He held them. I'm really about the presentation.
"Meri jaan main huna kuch nahi hoga," my heart fluttered. I nodded at him.
(Nothing will happen, I'm here with you.)
"Let's sleep for now," I nodded.
"Zaviyaar you know what happened yesterday?" I need to him her daughter's mischief.
"What?" He gave me a questioning look.
"Aisha came to visit us after almost 2 months with her boys and you know what your daughter did?" I sighed.
"What?"
"She bit Azaan's cheeks. Thank God he didn't cry or complain about it to Aisha," I told him the whole thing.
"I'll then sue the Mirza's," I sighed at his reaction. He should scold Zara.
Baap beti ka kuch nhi hosakta!
(The duo will make me crazy.)
â.Ëâ®Ë .â®Ë.â
"Happy birthday, Zaviyaar," I kissed him.
"Thank you, sweetheart," he kissed me back.
"You won't ask for your gift," I raised my eyebrows at him. He simply smiled.
"Just stay with me by my side," this would be my best gift. Tears collected in my eyes. It's been almost 7 years since Zaviyaar and I have been together. We have seen it all. Our thicks and thins.
"But I have something for you," I was excited to show him his gift.
For his 32nd birthday, I *without his help* arranged a trip to Italy. He wanted to sponsor the trip, but I stopped him, saying it was his birthday gift, but still a few things were left. But he's Zaviyaar Aqib Khan and he never stops.
"What is it?" He raised his brows. It was really hard for me to get him a gift because he has everything. I told him to wait and bought a box with me.
"Here you go," I handed him the box.
"Aaliyana, this-," he couldn't complete.
"Is it good?" I was still confused.
"I loved it," he hugged me tight. The box had a ring with ZA engraved on it. Z- Zaviyaar and A- Aaliyana. He used to wear a ring with my name engraved on it but I took it after his accident so I decided to get a new ring for him.
Apart from the ring, the box had a handwritten letter from me. I had written about us, our kids, our relationship, and much more. He still has my confession letter with him. I had tears in my eyes recalling the memories. We came a long way from where we began.
"I love you, sweetheart," he pecked my lips.
"I love you more mister husband," I pecked his cheeks.
"I doubt that," we laughed.
"There's one more thing," he raised his eyebrows.
I started rolling the sleeve of my left arm. He gave me a questioning look. And then, I showed a tattoo that I got on the outer side of the wrist. The tattoo said ZAK!
"Aaliyana, tell me it's fake," I smiled.
"It's not," I shook my head.
"Are you serious?" I could see tears sparking in his eyes. I nodded. And with that, he smashed his lips on mine.
â.Ëâ®Ë .â®Ë.â
"Zara and Aryan," I called them.
They looked at me but ignored me as they were busy playing in the sand. Zaviyaar was by my side. I looked at him and smiled. He placed a peck on my head.
"I love you, Mister Husband," I said.
"I love you more sweetheart," he said.
I know that. Zaviyaar made me the luckiest girl on the planet by marrying me. He removed the fear of arranged marriages. Arranged marriages aren't that scary especially when you have a partner like Zaviyaar with you. Who supports you no matter what.
We have been through a lot, but in the end, it's us, knowing that we can't live without each other.
"Aaliyana," he called me. I hummed looking at me.
"You know I love you so much," I nodded.
"I love you more than that," I pecked his cheek. I looked carefully at his face so that I couldn't hear his flirting.
"Naak lambi hai apki," I just realized it.
"Aaliyana, I was filtering with you," he was flabbergasted. I mean, I didn't mean to, but still, it happened. He simply pecked my lips.
He continued looking at Zara and Aryan.
"Baba," Zara called Zaviyaar and he went to her. The trio started playing in the sand. I smiled looking at them
