Ruhan and Anshika stood by their parents in the office. There was the Principal, their Class Teacher and their Sulerintendent Teacher and their parents in the office."This is a matter to be taken seriously. Your children cannot just spoil the reputation of our school."Miss Rwiza burst out angrily even before the Principal could speak.Stopping Miss Rwiza, the Principal composed her already composed look before them. Keeping her hands on the table in a dramatic way she looked at the students standing their heads bowed."So you agree you've made a mistake?", she asks enquiringly.They kept quiet and just nodded. Their parents kept looking at the Principal who quite well kept on saying her words."Mr. and Mrs. Malhotra and Mr. and Mrs. Srivastav, I hope you know the reason behind we called you."They nodded in affirmation quite embarrassed, glaring at them both."No need to glare at them like that. They are only children. They will make mistakes. But being here, I'm supposed to monitor the discipline of the school. We have never got complaints against them ever before, so we don't suspend them, rather for the rest of the year I'll ask them both to come on alternate days so as a lesson for them as well as the other students.""This shall be put to notice.", the superintendent teacher said."Ruhan, you'll be coming on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for a week and Anshika you'll be coming on Tuesdays and Thursdays for that week. In the next week, alter your schedule. And I'll keep an eye if you both come on the same day mentioning a mix up in the routine as an excuse.""They dare not!", their parents stood up and with the permission of the teacher left the room. They followed their parents bowing down. A good round of smashing went on at both their places after school and it continued for few more days until they adjusted to their new routine. Both their cell phones were snatched and Anshika would cry alone in her room missing Ruhan. So would Ruhan be beating up his basketball in anger. Sometimes they would sneak and message each other and then delete the conversations to keep up with each other.Siya would visit Anshika's place to tell her about the school work sometimes. Another few days passed by and it was the time for the Interschool Basketball Tournament. The sports coach had approached to the Principal so that Ruhan could come everyday for their practice before match. Giving a thought over it the Principal gave Ruhan the permission to come to school everyday, but should wait only at the ground when it was not his scheduled day. Siya would leave no opportunity to let her friend meet Ruhan who would also be eagerly waiting at the backgarden to meet Anshika, sneaking in earlier than his mentioned time. "Didn't the teachers ever fall in love at our age?", Anshika would sadly ask Ruhan."They seem not to, or else would have understood what we are going through."He pulled her in a hug before he had to reach the courtyard and Anshika to return to her class. She walked along with Siya and Aditya to the class.
