After almost a year and a half of writing Defying Death, I've realized that I'm unhappy with the way this story is going.

I never had a set plan for how the story was gonna end, and eventually realized that I've written myself into a pretty boring corner.

This current version will still exist on my profile, but it will never be finished.

If you are curious how this version was going to end;

Antoinette was going to lead a rebellion together with Madeleine and Quinn.

Together, they would manage to overthrow Luca, and ultimately execute him.

After which, a democracy would be established. The nobles would give up their titles, and Madeleine and Antoinette would get married.

Quinn would become the newest minister, representing the people.

The final chapter was going to be old Madeleine and Antoinette reflecting on their past.

I would like to genuinely thank you all for enjoying Defying Death.

It was wonderful having you, and I hope you found some joy or comfort in my silly characters.
