Chapter 424 - Linglong’s First Battle

On the Tianyuan Sea, Yun Zizai descended alongside Yun Feiyan.

“Master, would this world have my opponent?” Yun Feiyan asked in a melodious voice as she looked around. She frowned. “What a rich death aura shrouding the entire place. It seems to have condensed into evil cloud mist. This world must have experienced the deadliest massacre in which even many Quad-Sages, and an unknown number of living things were killed.”

“I’ve just probed into the past by reading the core of the world and learned that the Abyss attacked the heavenly realm a few decades ago. It has caused the collapse of the Heaven Court while the Abyss is almost destroyed.”

Yun Zizai could only check the major events that happened in the past but not the details. He could deduce the details only with his Saint Dao method if he was to understand some people and things.

Yun Zizai also learned that the Saints of this world had left for the Sea of Chaos a long time ago. Yet, because he discovered a Saint around, he was confused.

“The Heaven Court has collapsed?” Yun Feiyan was startled. Because of her experience travelling through various great chiliocosms, and witnessed the many ruling organizations like the Heaven Court. Hence, she was not surprised.

“Could the Abyss contend with the Heaven Court?” Yun Feiyan asked curiously.

“This world is monopolized by the Heaven Court alone. As the Abyss is under the governorship of the Heaven Court, logically, it’s impossible for the Abyss to overthrow the Heaven Court in just a short while after a billion years of peace. Yet, it happened.” Yun Zizai chuckled, “Anyway, it’s not our business as we are justpasserbys.”

As Yun Zizai focused, he saw the palace on the Tianyuan Sea. He couldn’t help but exclaimed, “The Infinite Realm Auction House is actually here in this world! I wonder who’s in charge.”

“The Infinite Realm Auction House?” Yun Feiyan was surprised. “Master, is the Auction House one of the strong factions in our Sea of Chaos?”

“Exactly.” Yun Zizai nodded. “This palace has the aura of the infinite realm, and the unique Dao fluctuations from the Sea of Chaos. Nevertheless, there aren’t any good things in the Auction House touring about great chiliocosms.”

“Sir, there aren’t good things for you indeed.” Riyue Changfeng sensed, and discovered the two upon their descent. He couldn’t help but smile as he heard Yun Zizai. He paced over to bow and greeted, “It’s truly an honor to be able to meet people from the Sea of Chaos. I’m Riyue Changfeng. Sir, it’s my pleasure to meet you, and greetings to you too, Junior Sister.”

Yun Zizai nodded his head as he looked at Riyue Changfeng. His eyes widened with surprise as if he had discovered some rare treasures.

“Did you call me Junior Sister?” Yun Feiyan frowned. A fiery look flashed across her face, and a sharp aura rushed out from the top of his head, stirring up torrents.

Meanwhile, her battling intent surged, sweeping through the entire Tianyuan Sea. She was obviously acting in a very high-profile manner.

All experts on the Tianyuan Sea were alarmed, and looked in their direction. However, none of them came forward. In fact, they retreated afar. It was because they knew how terrifying Riyue Changfeng was. Hence, the person who was capable of confronting Riyue Changfeng, must be someone of great strength.

Nevertheless, the Great Monarch Wan Lian got nearer, but with vigilance.

Riyue Changfeng merely responded with a smile.

Yun Zizai said, “Feiyan, you aren’t his match.”

“A Demi-Sage?” Yun Feiyan became interested instead. “Master, I’m not looking for a match. If I do, I won’t be tempered! Please initiate a battle arena, I want to fight him.”

Yun Zizai didn’t respond, but looked in another direction.

Jiang Ming was seen pacing over. He had to turn up because the two had got to his home area.

“Fellow Daoist!” Yun Zizai clasped his hands, obviously becoming more respectful. At the same time, he sent a message to his disciple telepathically, telling her that Jiang Ming was a Saint.

Yun Feiyan slightly bowed at Jiang Ming to pay her respect.

“Brother Jiang, we are all from the Sea of Chaos. Hence, I don’t think it’s good and right to compete at your place.” Riyue Changfeng smiled wryly.

“Why do you care when I don’t?” As Jiang Ming said, he turned to look in the northwest, and sighed, “Those who’re courting death, are coming.”

Riyue Changfeng was startled and turned to look at where Jiang Ming was looking. A strange look flashed across his face, and he couldn’t help but sigh, “They are indeed courting death. Brother Jiang, do you still want to remain silent?”

“I’m deeply annoyed!” Jiang Ming felt rather helpless. The killing intention had now surged in him.

“Does that group of experts want to besiege and attack this place?” Yun Feiyan asked. When she saw both Jiang Ming and Riyue Changfeng nodding, she was astounded. “How dare they?”

Following that, she was enlightened and asked, “Sir, did you just sanctify your Dao?”

Jiang Ming naturally had no idea about the thoughts of the two. But he asked as he was looking at his Junior Sister, “Do you want to attack?”

“Leave them to me!” Linglong was ecstatic. “Senior Brother, just watch. I want to declare to the world through this battle that it’s my era!”

As soon as Linglong finished her words, she rushed out. The Sword Sambodha surged out of her, slashing heaven and earth.

“Can she do it alone?” Mountain Master Tian Yuan said with worries.

“There are about a dozen Venerates after all. Even if I were to confront them, I’m not sure if I can win. No, I don’t think I can win at all.” Yun Feiyan said as well.

“Just watch!” Jiang Ming smiled as he pointed. There were nine figures appearing beside Linglong.
