Shen Rongyu stared at the jade pendant, but he did not take it.

Ji Qingzhou thought he disliked it, so she closed her palm. Her voice dropped, but she remained motionless, “Xiao Yu-shixiong… If you don’t like it, wait until the mountain free day, and I will go and buy someone else’s carving.”

She knew from the start that this move was too ridiculous. Sure enough, Shen Rongyu couldn’t accept it.

But the next moment, Shen Rongyu captured her wrist. His thumb pressed against the center of her wrist, and then slowly slid up, breaking her tightly clasped fingers.
