The deep voice on the other end of the line asked again.

“Mr… Mr. Zook… I didn’t know it was you…”

James held the phone in both hands and put it to his ear as he spoke obsequiously, nodding and bowing.

He had no idea that Sean would be able to get in touch with the big shot at Jen–Bond Holdings!

Mr. Zook was not only James’s immediate superior but also a major shareholder of Jen- Bond Holdings.

Mr. Zook was responsible for Jen–Bond Holdings‘ expansion in River City.

“Say no more.

“Not only did you not report the whole thing immediately, but you kept it from me.

“Are you going to keep it a secret if I never asked?”

Mr. Zook’s question made James‘ forehead drip with sweat.

It was not that he did not want to report it, but he was scared!

James turned red as he handed the phone to Sean without a word.

Sean took it with a sneer.

James looked at Sean, his teeth crunching.

“If he didn’t intimidate you, there are more people I can contact.

“There’s always someone bigger than you.”

Sean’s eyes were calm, and his voice was confident.

However, James dared not doubt Sean now.

Lennon Group and Reach For Will Group were his, and even Colton was on Sean’s side.

When James found out about all this, he could not imagine how he would fight Sean.

Even if he fought Sean, there was no way he could defeat him.

“What… what do you want?”

James was overwhelmed by Sean’s tactics.
