Chapter 1193
Summon Of The Sword
Zander was in front as he heard Seanâs mutter, but he did not inquire.
Zander did not speak until Sean pulled himself together and picked up his pace.
âCommander, thereâs a fortune teller here.
âWhy donât we have our fortunes told?â
Carried away by a whim, Zander suddenly pointed to one of the stalls and said.
The man sitting in that booth was a monk and not a shaman.
He sat crossâlegged silently with his eyes narrowed slightly while others shouted to attract business.
âWhat fortune?â
Sean glanced and withdrew his gaze.
âLetâs see if our trip will be a success.
âAnd whether we can get our revenge.â
Zander asked somewhat expectantly, rubbing his hands together.
However, Sean shook his head slightly in disdain.
âI never believed in such things.
âWe control our destiny.â
Zander immediately dismissed his idea as soon as Sean said that.
âPlease stay, sir.â
Sean did not want to have his fortune told, but the monk stopped Sean when they passed by him.
Both Zander and Sean stopped and looked around.
The monk was indeed calling Sean!
Sean slowly turned his head and looked at the monk without speaking.
The monk slowly opened his narrowed eyes and stared at Sean carefully.
It was not until this moment that Sean realized how deep the monkâs eyes were.
It was as if he had been through a lot and could see through everything.
You would feel naked in front of him.
The feeling made Sean uncomfortable.
Therefore, he wanted to turn away immediately.
âYour last name is Lupin!â
Still sitting crossâlegged, the monk stared intently at Sean.
âHow can a monk like you casually change other peopleâs last names?â
Zander froze slightly before snapping with a frown.
Zander was now glad that he had not asked the monk to tell his fortune just now.
How could a lunatic tell someoneâs fortune?
âThen what is your name, sir?â
The monk looked at Sean and asked again.
âWhat does it have to do with you?â
Zander snapped again.
Sean looked into the monkâs eyes and felt he was not making things up.
âMy last name is Lennon.â
Sean was silent for two seconds before telling the truth.
âNo, your last name isnât Lennon. Itâs Lupin!â
The monk shook his head slightly as he spoke earnestly.
âMy last name is Lennon.â
Seanâs brow furrowed slightly.
âYour last name is Lupin, Sir!â
However, the monk refused to give in and spoke more firmly.
âI think youâre looking for trouble!â
Zander glared at the monk with impatience.
The monk stopped talking and made eye contact with Sean.
âThen perhaps I was mistaken.â
The monk closed his eyes and meditated again after saying that. âWhat a lunatic.â
Zander frowned and prepared to leave without arguing with him.
Sean also glanced at the monk before quickly following Zander.
Neither of them took the incident too seriously.
They just thought they had run into a lunatic.
There was a small pasta restaurant at the east end of town.
It was small but clean.
However, it was past lunchtime, so there were few customers around.
A young man in his 20s had one hand on a crutch while the other was holding a mop as he mopped the floor.
The young man had one leg on the ground while the other pant leg was empty and dancing in the wind.
He was crippled but had a determined look, and he moved with purpose.
âBoss, is there food?â
Suddenly, a burly man walked straight into the restaurant.
âYes, but it will take some time.
âIâm a little slow.â
The young man wiped his sweat and then looked up at the customer.
The next second, the young manâs eyes widened as if he had seen a ghost.
The guest was Zander.
The young man was Jeffrey.
âBrother Zander?â
Jeffreyâs eyes widened as he trembled.
âI thought you didnât recognize me.â
Zander nodded slightly and stepped forward to help Jeffrey.
âBrother Zander, hurry and have a seat. Hurry and have a seat!â
Jeffrey was so excited that he was at a loss for words. He quickly asked Zander to sit down.
âHold on.
âLook whoâs here.â
Zander slowly moved aside, and a young man walked in through the door behind him.
He was calm and had an intimidating aura.
Jeffrey, who was already excited, froze when he saw the guyâs face.
His head buzzed.
âCo⦠Commanderâ¦â
Jeffrey slowly extended his hand a few seconds later before quickly withdrawing it and asking uncertainly.
âItâs me.â
Sean glanced down at Jeffreyâs pant leg.
If he was paralyzed by a disease, he could cure him.
However, his leg was gone. There was no way Sean could regrow it, no matter how good of a doctor he was.
âCommander! It really is you!â
Jeffrey finally came to himself. He took two steps forward and was about to bow.
His eyes even reddened instantly, with tears spinning in his eyes.
It was said that men did not cry easily. However, who set the rule that a man should never shed a tear?
