Chapter 1560

Ronald got out of the car, forced a smile, and asked, “Guys, what do you want? I’m just an ordinary person. If you’re stopping us to rob us, take the money and let me go. What do you think?”

As soon as Ronald finished speaking, the mercenaries burst into laughter.

“Are you Ronald Townsend?”

The mercenary leader asked.

Ronald’s expression instantly changed when he heard the mercenary leader mention his name.

It seemed that the group of mercenaries blocking their way was not to rob him but to wait for him! Oh, no!

“I… I’m not. My name isn’t Ronald Townsend. My name’s Hector Lindsay.”

Ronald said as he forced a stiff smile.

However, the mercenary leader immediately walked over and pulled out a photo to compare with Ronald. “You look exactly like the picture. How dare you say you’re not Ronald?”

The mercenary leader sneered before raising the saber in his hand. The other mercenaries had cruel and horrifying expressions on their faces.

“Ronald, you’re Dorodo’s weapons dealer, specializing in supplying Dorodo’s city defense army with weapons and other equipment, aren’t you? Haha. I was offered 20 million dollars to kill you. Don’t hate me. I’m paid to help people eliminate their troubles.”

With that said, the mercenary swung his saber and slashed it at Ronald’s neck!

Ronald felt dizzy as the sharp saber cast a white light in mid–air.

‘Oh, no!

‘I’m going to die this time!‘

However, there was suddenly a clang.

The mercenary could not keep hold of his saber, and the sharp saber flew out of his hand.

Then the saber fell to the ground with a clang, along with a pebble.

“Who is it?”

The mercenary leader took a step back and growled with a grave expression.

Then the back door of the taxi opened. Two men got out of the car. It was Sean and Zander!

When the car was stopped earlier, Sean and Zander ducked down and hid in the back of the taxi.

They were not afraid of the mercenaries. They were not in a hurry to show themselves only to find out the truth of the matter.

Knowing that Ronald was the real target of these mercenaries, they finally took action.

Although Ronald was rude and arrogant, he was a member of Dorodo’s city defense army. He was responsible for supplying Dorodo’s city defense army with weapons.

Therefore, Ronald needed to be safe, or Dorodo’s city defense army would be in a difficult situation.

It was why Sean swooped in and knocked the mercenary leader’s saber off with a pebble, saving Ronald’s life.

“How… How dare you?”

The mercenary leader was shocked before flying into a rage.

The taxi driver and Ronald backed away in fear.

“Get them, boys! Kill them, and we’ll split the 20 million dollars!”

The mercenary leader shouted, and the mercenaries rushed toward Sean, Zander, Ronald, and the driver.

Ronald and the driver hid under the taxi, not daring to show themselves.

Sean and Zander showed the same cruel smile.

“I can finally fight without fear.”

With that said, Sean slowly pulled out his weapon–the Guardian Sword!
