Excuse Any Mistakes . Enjoyyy

SUMMER

"My niece looking fly as hell" My aunt hyped as she finished putting on my last set of makeup. I turned around and looked my self in the mirror and gasp because I never looked like this. Before, I was wearing  a uniform for school and skirts and  all those elegant stuff to go out, because that's all my mom had bought for me. But now I'm looking like an actual teenager. Also, I didn't have to worry about my natural hair showing because I had on a wig which was bone straight and it blended like it was my real hair.

"Thank you so much Aunt Camille" I hugged her

"No problem baby girl. You know you my whole heart and I can't stand to see you cry." she responded as she hugged me back.

After a while we pulled away and made our way downstairs to leave. I stood by the front door as she went to get her car keys from off the dining table.

"Lemme drop yo ass off to school because I know you missed the bus for sure"

I looked at her confused "You mean like a school bus?"

"No a spaceship" she answered sarcastically before rolling her eyes "Of course I meant a school bus Summer. What else would you go to school in, except on the mornings when Jhene picks you up?"

"Who's Jhene?"

She looked at me like I had three heads "You know what , I finna drop yo ass off to school as soon as possible, so you can get something in that brain of yours. From the look of things, its empty up there."

I laughed to her comment as I followed her outside. Before I got in the passenger seat I took time to take in my new surroundings. The street was crowded with  kids who were going to school while neighbors were outside talking to each other as they cleaned their yard. Cars passed booming loud rap music.

"Good morning Cammy and Summer!" someone called out as I was about to open the door to the passenger seat. I looked at the house on the right of us and saw an old lady sitting in her rocking chair on her balcony.

"Good Morning Ms.Ruby" My Aunt shouted back with a smile, so I followed her  lead

"Hey Ms ruby"

"How you doing today?" Camille asked

"I'm fine, just sittin' an watchin' the world go by."

"Ok Ms Ruby, I'm finna drop Summer off to school now. I'll see you when I get back."

"Ok Cam, Enjoy your day at school Summer." Ms ruby said as she waved at me

"Thank you Ms Ruby, enjoy your day too."  I answered before I sat in the passenger seat.

The drive to school was like 10 minutes away from my Aunt's home. But as my aunt parked in front of the high school I mentally slapped my self.

"Bridgewood High" I whispered

Can this get any worst? Public School?

It was the same school where all the kids who lived the hood attended. It was the same school that I would pass by everyday to go to East View Educational Institute and the school Jessica, Emily and I would make fun of. Now I was about to be part of this school. I silently grumbled as I sank in my seat. There were student all over, some were sitting on the benches on the lawn as some were blasting music from those blue tooth speakers. Then it had the smokers. BridgeWood High was nothing like my private school.

"Summer, the car door ain't gonna open itself baby." My aunt interrupted my thoughts.

I sighed opening the door, coming out of the car.

"Ok Summer I'll see you later when you get home from school."

I nodded and she drove off.

I turned around and began walking to the entrance. I felt a little comfort because majority of the population were African American like myself but I still felt like I didn't fit in. As I walked through the halls, I was earning stares from students as some of the guys commented on the way I looked.

This school was highly populated, the hallways were crowded and students were bumping into one another. I tried my best to carefully make my way through the crowd.

"Is that my bad bitch best friend!!" Someone shouted from behind me.

I spun around to see a girl running towards me and as a reflex.........I ran like my life had depended on it.

I wasn't gonna get jumped in this school on my first day. No fucking way.

"Girl slow down" the girl behind me shouted. I took that as my cue to speed up and I began running faster through the halls.

Everything happened so fast when I bumped into another girl  and my body collided to the floor.

"Oh my god! Summer, girl watch where you're going." the girl who I bumped into said as she got up and extended her hand  to help me up. As I came to my feet, the girl who was chasing me, had finally caught up, making me hide behind the girl that I had bumped into.

"Bitch what are you doing running in the damn hall like a fucking child?" the girl who i was hiding behind asked the girl who was chasing me.

"Sum... Summ" she tried to say but she was out of breath from all that running. She took a deep breath then began. "I was going to talk to Summer, but then she started running through the halls, tearing up that shit like a tomb raider. So I started chasing her Trina"

Trina?

"Summer, girl get from behind me" Trina pulled me from behind her. I looked at both girls and I realized that I had met Trina before. She was the girl that I had met in Walmart.

"Hey I know you." I said as I pointed at Trina

"No shit. Bitch is you alright?" Trina asked

"Yeah girl you actin' hella weird, like what's up witchu."  the other girl said  "You actin' like you don't know your girls."

"My girls?" I asked confused

"Yes hoe" Trina responded before turning her attention to the other girl "Jhene I told yo ass not to give her that damn drink last night at the party. Yo ass already crazy and you wanna fuck up Summer too"

That's Jhene.

"You guys always wanna blame the lightskins huh." Jhene said before she turned to me "Summer"  she began slowly as though I couldn't understand what she was saying "I am Jhene....this is Trina....we are besties....you live with Camille who is your-"

"Girl shut yo crazy ass up" Trina pulled on Jhene's hair.

"Ow fuck! Trina this shit is sewed in" she grumbled as she fixed her hair

I looked at Trina and Jhene as they went back and forth.

They're supposed to be my best friends? Interesting.

I had to admit that they were way different to Emily and Jessica. Trina and Jhene  were loud and lively.

I stood there in silence looking at them before Jhene broke the silence, "Summer don't you wanna put your books in your locker before class?"

"Um yeah" I answered unsure as to where my locker was "By chance, do ya'll know where it's located?'

Trina chuckled as she grabbed my hand pulling me along with her and Jhene "Girl you've got me fucked up". She went to a locker opening it and Jhene went to another locker, leaving a locker in the middle which I assumed was mine. I went to it and began looking for the key to my locker in my bag.

"Guys I don't know how we made it to school this morning after that party last night?"Jhene sighed as she leaned against her locker with her eyes closed

"I feel you girl." Trina responded closing her locker.

Since I woke up this morning, this party  was all that I was hearing about. Apparently it took place last night. I knew nothing about it, so I decided to join in the conversation to find out, "How did you guys thought the party was?" I asked as I took out a random book for class before closing my locker. I took my bottle water what I had brought from home and began drinking it.

"Girl you asking about it like you weren't there." Trina chuckled

"Yeah and you damn well know how you was turnt and boo'd up with Rah's ass last night"

I began choking

Rah? Who the fuck is Rah?

Trina patted my back "Girl you ok?"

I nodded as I regained myself and wiped my mouth. "Who is Rah?"

"Haha Summer, stop acting crazy now." Jhene looked at me seriously "You startin' to scare a bitch"

Trina laughed "Come on lets get to class, we ain't finna be late. We got Ms.Ruth first period and ya'll know her moody ass gon send us to the principal office for being late."

"Ouuu and I heard that her husband was caught cheating with another bitch so you know her ass gon be moody as fuck." Jhene added

"Damn lets go" Trina turned and started to hurry to class as Jhene and I followed her.

As I ran through the hallway trying to keep up with Trina I couldn't get my mind off of what Jhene had said earlier.

I was boo'd up with Rah? Who was Rah?
