Recap:Vinay is released from jail, plotting revenge, while Chezhiyan and Nila grow closer, unaware of the danger ahead.

.........

As the sleek black car cruised through the city, Vinay's thoughts simmered with resentment. Chezhiyan had been loyal, far too loyal for someone like him. But that blind trust made him easy to manipulate. And while Chezhiyan believed he had saved his friend from the humiliation of jail, Vinay knew better. He wasn't just grateful-he was plotting.

Vinay tapped his fingers on the phone, contemplating his next move. Chezhiyan's influence could only protect him for so long. He needed to act quickly, to make sure that when the pieces fell, Chezhiyan would never see him as the villain.

He glanced out the window, eyes narrowing. "Chezhiyan thinks he knows me," he muttered under his breath, "but he has no idea what's coming."

Meanwhile, in Chezhiyan's room, Nila went to look in the mirror as she was drying her hair with the towel. She turned to look at Chezhiyan and said, Why does this towel feel like it's made of clouds? I could get used to this."

Chezhiyan chuckled and came behind her as he yanked the towel from her hold and gently dried her hair. He mumbled and his voice was so deep and husky

Not only the towel is soft... your skin is softer than the towel and so warm to keep me comfortable. I could also get used to this. Saying this he caressed her arms.

He whispered in her ears "You're glowing you know?" saying this he bit her earlobe gently making her gasp.

Nila: (playfully) "You're trying to distract me from my breakfast, aren't you?"

Chezhiyan: "Maybe breakfast can wait a little. You're more refreshing than the breakfast."

Nila: (blushing, pretending to be serious) " heyyy! Get lost man. Stop flirting with me! I have to eat breakfast.

Chezhiyan: soru soru soru eppa paathalum soru!

(Food food food every time food!) Huh.

Na Inga oruthen kuthu kallatam ninnutu iruken nee breakfast sapdanum nu solra?

( I'm standing here as a stone and you are saying that you want to eat breakfast?)

Nila: adhukunu unnaya epdi naan sapdamudiyum nee onnum saapadu illaye! (So,how can I eat you? You are not a food) She said with a pout.

Chezhiyan: seri oru kiss kuduthutu kitchen ku po.( Okay kiss me and go to the kitchen

Nila gasped and with a blush, she kissed his cheeks.

Chezhiyan smirked as he felt the warmth of her lips on his cheek, his eyes glinting with playful mischief.

Chezhiyan: aii! Love aa solrathuku munnadiye lips la laam kudutha ippo mattum cheeks laya?

(Hey! You kissed me on my lips before we confessed our love but now you are only kissing me on my cheek?) and That was too quick. I think I deserve more for drying your hair, don't you think?"

Nila, her cheeks already flushed, rolled her eyes but couldn't hide her smile.

Nila: "Chezhiyan, you're impossible!"

He took a step closer, closing the distance between them, his gaze locking onto hers.

Chezhiyan: "I might be, but you like me this way." His hand found its way back to her waist, pulling her closer, his breath warm against her skin.

Nila: (laughing softly) "Oh? Says who?"

Chezhiyan leaned down, his lips hovering dangerously close to hers. "Says the girl who just kissed me," he whispered, his voice sending a shiver down her spine.

Nila: "Fine, fine! But you need to let me go now, or breakfast is never happening!"

Chezhiyan groaned in defeat, reluctantly releasing her but not before placing a soft kiss on her forehead. "Alright, go before I change my mind and keep you here all day."

Nila: (smiling) "That's what I thought." She gave him a playful wink before walking towards the door, leaving Chezhiyan watching her with a satisfied grin.

As she reached the door, she glanced back. "Don't miss me too much," she teased.

Chezhiyan: "Too late for that." He winked back at her before turning to get ready for the day.

Nila smiled to herself as she walked into the kitchen, still feeling the warmth of Chezhiyan's touch lingering on her skin. She was shocked as she saw Nithya lashing out at Seetha (cook)

Nithya: SEETHA! Don't you know how to make kunafa? Why didn't you say it before? Huh.. you are a useless cook I have ever seen. You said you knew how to cook and I appointed you but now you are saying that you don't know how to make a kunafa?

Nila felt tension in the air as soon as she entered the kitchen. Her mind had been drifting to the warmth of Chezhiyan's touch just moments before, but the sight of Seetha cowering under Nithya's fury snapped her back to the present. The harshness in Nithya's voice cut through the room like a knife.

Nithya: (voice raised) "I don't care how good of a cook you are if you can't even make a simple kunafa! This is embarrassing! I trusted you with this, and now you're telling me you don't know how?"

Seetha stood frozen, her hands trembling slightly as she clutched a dish towel, her eyes wide with fear. Nila's heart went out to the elderly cook, who had been nothing but dedicated since she started working for them. Seeing Seetha so rattled, Nila instinctively stepped in between them, her body language gentle yet firm, like a shield of calm.

Nila: (with a soothing tone) "Nithya, let's take a breath. What's the problem here?"

Nithya whirled on her, her eyes flashing with barely contained anger as if Nila's very presence fueled her frustration.

Nithya: "The problem? The problem is this woman doesn't know how to make kunafa! I want to eat it now and she's saying she can't do it! What's the point of having a cook who can't cook what we need?"

Nila took a steadying breath, her voice even as she replied.

Nila: "I understand that's disappointing, but Seetha has been fantastic with every other dish she's prepared. We all have limitations, Nithya. There's no need to make her feel bad for not knowing one thing."

Nithya: (crossing her arms tightly) "She should know how to handle everything. This is her job."

Nila could see the tension in Nithya's posture, her stiffened frame betraying something deeper than just frustration over a missed dish. Nithya had always been wound tight, but this felt personal. Nila kept her voice soft, sensing the need to de-escalate not just the situation, but Nithya's inner turmoil.

Nila: "It is her job, but it's also our job to treat people with kindness. Think about how much Seetha has done for you. If she doesn't know this dish, I can help. We can make it together, and it'll turn out great. Let's focus on solving the issue instead of pointing fingers."

Nithya's eyes narrowed, her jaw clenching as she bit back another retort. Nila's calmness, and her effortless grace in managing the situation, only seemed to fuel Nithya's frustration further. She hated how Nila always had the perfect response, always diffusing situations with a smile. It made her feel small, and inadequate, as though she was the one out of control.

Nithya: (under her breath) "It's not about just one dish..."

Nila: (gently interrupting) "It's about how we treat people, Nithya. Everyone deserves respect. We're all on the same team here. Let's handle this with care."

Nithya hesitated, her eyes flicking between Nila and Seetha, and for a moment, it seemed like she might continue the argument. But Nila's steady, unwavering kindness disarmed her. With a sharp sigh, Nithya threw her hands up in frustration.

Nithya: (gritting her teeth) "Fine, do whatever you want."

She turned on her heel and stalked out of the kitchen, leaving Nila and Seetha alone. The tension in the room seemed to evaporate as soon as Nithya was gone. Nila turned to Seetha, who was visibly shaken, her eyes glistening with unshed tears.

Nila: (smiling softly) "Don't worry, Seetha. We'll get through this together. You've done an amazing job, and we can make this kunafa. I'll be right by your side."

Seetha's lips trembled into a small, grateful smile as Nila pulled up a recipe on her phone. Together, they began to work, Nila guiding Seetha through the process with patient instructions and gentle encouragement. The older woman, now calmer, followed along, grateful for Nila's support.

As they worked, Nila couldn't help but feel the weight of Nithya's lingering anger. It wasn't just about the kunafa, and she knew that. Something deeper was troubling Nithya, and Nila sensed that this was far from over. But for now, she focused on Seetha, ensuring that they not only made the dessert but restored the dignity that Nithya had tried to strip away.

Even though Nila was new to the house and had never interacted with Seetha before, her instincts pushed her to defend the cook. She didn't need to know Seetha personally to recognize the fear and discomfort in the older woman's eyes. It was enough for Nila to step in with compassion.

As Nila guided Seetha through the kunafa recipe, she quietly observed the kitchen environment. Everything felt unfamiliar, yet she moved with ease, offering support where it was needed. She didn't know Seetha's history or her role in the house, but Nila's natural empathy led her to trust the cook's abilities.

Nila: (smiling softly) "We might not know each other, Seetha maa, but I'm sure you've done an incredible job here. Let's work through this together, and everything will be just fine."

Seetha looked up, visibly touched by Nila's words, her anxiety slowly fading. Even though Nila was a stranger to the household, her kind actions were already making a difference.

Seetha: You're an angel Ma'am

Nila chuckled and looked at her with her eyes crinkling due to her chuckle. Hmm, An angel? Me? What are you saying Seetha maa?

Seetha: aama maa.. chezhiyan ayya sollirukaaru neenga thaan avaroda angel nu. Ippodhaan na ungala paakuren. Avar sonna maari neenga really angel dhaan ma.

Yes ma'am. Chezhiyan sir told me you are his angel. Now only I'm seeing you and you are indeed an angel as he said.

Nila: ohhh!.. he said that I'm an angel? Really? A soft hue of pink spread over her face.

Seetha smiled and started to make tiffin.

Nila looked at Seetha and asked, vera ennalam enna pathi sollirukaaru? Please sollunga sollunga. (What else he said about me? Say it please!)

Seetha smiled and cleared her throat. Avaru enna sonnaru Naa...( "What he said...) He told me that he had met his angel and confessed his feelings to her."

Nila chuckled and began playing with the chapati dough, shaping it into small toys.

Seetha: ennoda 8 vayasu ponnu kooda indha maari dhaa maavu vachi vilayaduva maa..

("Even my 8-year-old daughter does the same, playing with the dough like this.")

Nila: ohhh paapa Peru enna maa...( What's her name?")

Seetha: Kuzhaliniyal maa..

Nila: Nalla tamil name la maa.. enaku ippaye paapa va paakanum Pola iruku. ippo paapa veetula irukaala illa school ku poirukaala? (What a beautiful Tamil name! I feel like seeing her right now. Is she at home or at school?")

Seetha: en veetukaarar school ku kootitu poirupaaru ma. Time ippo 8 aagudhe! ("My husband must have taken her to school by now. It's already 8 o'clock!")

Nila: nalla supportive husband la ma ungaluku?(You have a supportive husband, right?")

Seetha: mm aama maa.. she blushed (Mm, yes...")

Nila: Orey vekkams of India va iruke! Achooo. Unga love story interesting aa irukum polaye.

(Oh, look at you, blushing! Looks like your love story must be interesting.")

Seetha: Mm adhu oru periya kadha ma. Adhalaam na porumaiya solren neenga taste panni paarunga.. idhu epdi iruku?

(Mm, it's a long story, but I'll tell it patiently. First, taste this... How is it?")

Nila: paa... semma taste! Nithya vaanathukum boomikum kudhika pora! Seri enaku chappathi seekiram panni kudunga panneer butter masala vaasana vera aala thookudhe. She licked her lips and rubbed her stomach.

(Wow... It tastes amazing! Nithya would feel like she was about to jump to the sky! Please make the chapati quickly, the smell of the paneer butter masala is driving me crazy!" She licked her lips and rubbed her stomach.)

Seetha maa.. naanum unga kooda sernthu chapathi seiyata! (Setha maa.. can I cook chapati with you?)

Seetha: amma.. neenga yen? (Ma'am why did u ?)

Nila: Pleechhh

Seetha: neenga enaku order podunga ma.. please laam venam ( you can order me ma'am.. please don't say.)

Nila cooked heart chapatis for him with blush.

Seetha ma.. avaruku vera enna dish laam pudikum?( What dishes he likes more?)

Seetha: Ayya ku sweet na romba pidikum maa..( sir likes sweets maa..)

Nila: ohoh.. adhaan namma kunafa senjitom la vera enna seiyalam? ( Ohoh.. we have already prepared kunafa. Whatelse we can cook?)

Paayasam pannalama? Inniku oru paayasatha potra vendiyathu dhaan.. she chuckled as she made payasam and hummed a song.

("Shall we make payasam? Today is a day for making payasam," she chuckled as she prepared the payasam and hummed a song.)

After a few minutes she cooked and served it on the hot pack and Nila helped Seetha to organize the table.

Chezhiyan came down with his casual shirt and pants He was so hot and dashing in his simple but handsome look and Nila's jaw dropped and she was literally drooling looking at him as she was awestruck.

Chezhiyan looked at her and he signalled her to close her mouth as he walked down the stairs and she blushed as he winked.

Nithya came back scrolling the phone and accidentally dashed on Nila she stumbled a bit and she glared at Nila.

Chezhiyan rushed and looked at Nithya. Where did you keep your eyes Nithya? Always phone phone phone! Say sorry to her.

Nithya: Anna!.. naan epdi?( Brother, how can I?)

Chezhiyan glared at her. If Nila fell what will you do? Huh? What I have said to you? Respect her. Say sorry!

Nithya mv: why should I say sorry to her? She does not even match my status. Acting like a good girl and got love from my brother. Huh.

Nithya mumbled sorry and Nila said it was okay Nithya had a look at her brother and Chezhiyan and Nila sat on the dining chairs.

Chezhiyan: come Nila, sit here!

Nithya: Maybe she hasn't seen this kind of luxurious dining before. That's why she is standing. Is it right Nila?

Nila sighed. I said I'm from the middle class and it doesn't mean I have never seen this kind of dining before and I'm standing here because I want to serve breakfast to you both.

Nithya: serve pandrathuku thaan maids irukanga la. Nee yen Inga ninnutu iruka okkaaru. ( There are maids for serving and why are you standing? Sit)

Chezhiyan: Respect!

Nithya gritted her teeth and smiled at Nila, okkarunga Nila ( Sit Nila)

Nila looked at chezhiyan and said , chezhiya! Naane serve pandren. En veetula Naa dhaan serve pannven adhoda oru food aa samaikuratha Vida adha evlo azhaga parimaarom nndrathu dhaan mukkiyam. Adhoda pudichavanga parimaarum bothu adhula love irukum. Aprum sapdravangalukum parimaaravangalukum oru understanding create pannum. Adhe maari pudichavanga parimaarum bothu neraya sapdalam. Innum konjam veinga nu solrathum innum konjam sapdunga nu solrathum namma naatula thaan paaka mudiyum. Yen thirukural la ye virunthombal adhigaram iruke.

(Nila looked at Chezhiyan and said, "Chezhiyan! I'll serve. In my house, I'm the one who serves. More than just cooking the food, the way we present it beautifully is what matters. When someone you love serves it, there's love in it. It also creates an understanding between the one eating and the one serving. Just like that, when someone you love serves, you'll eat a lot. Asking for a little more and encouraging to eat more is something you can only see in our culture. That's why even in the Thirukkural, there's a chapter on hospitality.")

Chezhiyan: wow.. serving la ivlo meaning iruka? Enaku idhu theriyaama poche!

Nithya mv: oh god! She is such a boomer. Ipdi pesiye annana kavuthutaalo.

(Chezhiyan: Wow... Does serving have so much meaning? I didn't know this!

Nithya (in her mind): Oh god! She's such a show-off. Is she trying to win my brother over by talking like this?)
