28. The Prince and the healer
Best friends forever ??
As the night fell moon pack buzzed with activities. Prachaya, after ensuring the preparations for ceremony were completed, stood near the lake.
" What are you doing? " Perawat asked, seeing him loosing his outer robes.
" According to moon pack traditions, moon goddesses's statue is made from the soil taken from bottom of the lake. Usually by this time, I would even start on the statues. Because we cannot work on the statue after first ray of sunlight tomorrow. "
" Then, we only have few hours. Let's go "Shrugging off his outer robe, Perawat threw it near Prachaya's discarded robe and jumped in the lake.
" What are you doing? " Prachaya chided " You still have two more rounds to face in the challenge. "
" So do you " Perawat dived in the lake and scraped off a basket full of mud from the bottom before depositing it near Prachaya's basket.
" You are not going to listen, are you? " Prachaya asked .
" Ofcourse I will, my dearest " Perawat offered his hand to help Prachaya in to the lake, which Prachaya took, smiling.
" Then, why are you doing this when I don't want you to alpha ? "
" Isn't it moon pack tradition that the omega does any Ceremonial ritual with his alpha or vice versa, Otherwise it is not considered complete ? . "
" We are not mated yet, alpha ? "
" Do you not consider me your mate? "
" I do."
" Then, what is better mating claim than claim of heart? Isn't it one of the four ways of staking mating claim ? "
" It is, alpha . " Prachaya smiled, pride shining in his eyes " Thank you for taking time to learn our traditions. "
Perawat smiled " Ofcourse, to know my spouse, I need to know his land, people and culture. "
Respect for the alpha filled in his heart. Is he really lucky enough to have an alpha like this? Or it is just a daydream ?
" Let's get to work. " Perawat pulled Prachaya to the present.
Both of them hurried to bring enough mud front the bottom of the lake to make two moon goddess statues.
..........
After getting enough mud, Prachaya and Perawat dug out and filtered the forest soil and Prachaya mixed it to form smooth clay.
Perawat stood aside , watching the master at his work.
" Give me a hand alpha " Prachaya called softly.
" I will be more disturbance than help, my dearest" Alpha chuckled " I have two left hands when it comes to creating artistic things."
" Hold my hand, alpha " Prachaya instructed. Perawat did as instructed.
" You know when I was to make my first statue after becoming chief, I said the same thing to elder Suttha. I have always been more interested in swords and knives than sculpting. Today, I am telling you same thing that he told me.
The statue you create may not be a masterpiece of sculpting but it needs to be made with complete devotion and utmost love. "
Perawat nodded " I will try my best , dearest."
" Bless our work, mother moon " Prachaya mumbled , shaping the lotus under goddesses feet.
As the moonlit night progressed, Prachaya and Perawat continued sculpting the Moon Goddess statues, their hands moving in synchronized harmony. The air was filled with a blend of earthy scents and the subtle fragrance of wildflowers.
Prachaya, his fingers delicately shaping the intricate details, spoke in a soft tone, "Creating the Moon Goddess statues is not just a tradition; it's a connection to our past, a tribute to the moon's blessings."
Perawat, admiring Prachaya's skill, replied, "I can sense the reverence in your touch, my omega. It's a beautiful way to honor our heritage."
As they molded the clay into the goddess's flowing gown, Prachaya teased, "You may not be skilled with clay, alpha, but you're quite adept at capturing hearts."
Perawat, feigning modesty, responded, "I've been known to try my hand at it. Though, I must admit, your heart proved to be the most challenging and rewarding."
Prachaya chuckled, a melodic sound echoing in the night. "Smooth words, alpha, but let's see if your hands can match your charm."
The statues gradually took shape, embodying grace and strength. The moon cast its silvery glow upon the scene, enhancing the magical ambiance of the moment.
As they finished the sculptures, Prachaya wiped his hands on a cloth and glanced at Perawat. "Our goddesses are ready. May they bring prosperity and unity to our pack."
Perawat took Prachaya's hand, gently kissing his fingers. "May they also witness the blossoming of our bond, my omega."
" Blessed be" Prachaya mumbled.
They covered the eyes with a white strip of cloth and then covered the whole statue with a white cloth as required. Then they carried the statues towards the ceremonial area, the soft rustling of leaves accompanying their footsteps.
.............
" Why are you here chief? " Alpha Ken, ready in festive clothes, chided "Ceremony starts in half an hour".
" Chief was making moon goddesse's statue, Elder Suttha." Perawat informed. " Now we are taking her to the altar.
"Oh! please hurry chief," Suttha urged. Prachya nodded.
After placing the statues at their designated places, there was merely half an hour before they were needed to be present in Ceremonial robes to start the celebrations. So both Perawat and Prachaya headed to their respective quarters. Just before Pravhaya was about to turn,Perawt held his hand " Why do you suddenly look sad Chief? What is troubling you?"
Prachaya took a minute to think, the urge to lie was was difficult to ignore but he did. The close brush to death had unlocked somrthing in him.
" I am overjoyed and eternally thankful to our goddess that the robe I had prepared for you is not ruined by that evil abomination. But according to tradition, I must present it to alpha Gamon since he will be the eldest royal present." Prachaya informed.
Perawat smiled warmly, "While it tugs at my heart, I find solace in knowing that the robe will honor Alpha Gamon. Your kindness hasn't gone unnoticed, my dearest and I appreciate the sentiment."
Prachaya looked in Perawat's eyes, determined " I want only you to have that robe. It was tailored for you"
"Is it so?"Perawt teased. "And how did you know it is tailor fitted for me? I don't remember any measuring session."
"Some things are better kept secret" Prachaya glared at Perwat "I know you are trying to distract me alpha. Don't. I am justified to be upset with the tradition "
" Can I ask you for something, omega? " Perawat suddenly asked.
Prachaya nodded " Anything alpha."
" Give me something that no one can take away â no tradition, no custom no regulations. "
Prachaya nodded, taking up the challenge. " I give my submission to you alpha. No one shall have it other than you. I pledge that only person I will ever willingly allow to claim me, will be you. "
Perawat swallowed " I don't yet see myself deserving of this honor you have bestowed upon me, my omega. "
Prachaya's respect for Perawt increased manifold. " Your humility has always taken me aback, alpha. You asked for something no one can take away... I have given you my submission with free will â it is yours to have whenever you deem yourself ready."
" I've told you, my dearest. I will accept your submission once I prove myself and your pack that I am worthy of it ." " Then...." Perawat took a deep breath, thinking what else can he give the alpha. " Here..." Prachaya gave his ivory handled dagger " This is my father's dagger , alpha. It is given to elder son of the family once he proves himself worthy of it."
" But , I am not ..."
" You are . Please accept it alpha because I don't have anything else that I can offer you. From today, You are member of Suthiluck family. Since you are five days older than me ... Technically you are oldest Son ."
" No..." Perawat took a step back "You Know, I don't want to be your brother omega! "
" I have no intentions of making you my brother " Prachaya chuckled " After our mating, aren't you going to be Sutiluck family member? I am just declaring my intentions towards you."
" Oh..." ALPH heaved a sigh. "You almost set my heart to fire, my omega"
Prachaya smiled. " Don't parade it alpha. Keep it hidden. I any of the participating alphas recognise it, it will make winning the challenge harder for you."
Perawat grinned "Let them try their best. There is no way I will keep my Omega's claim on me hidden."
"Fine," Prachaya rolled his eyes " its not like even moon goddess can convince you to keep it hidden like a sane person."
................................................
As the ceremony approached, Lek and Toota, skilled hands at work, assisted Perawat in donning his war general's ceremonial attire. The robe, a regal blend of black, red, and gold, bore the emblem of his princely lineage. Intricate patterns adorned the fabric, symbolizing both strength and nobility.
Lek, with a sly grin, adjusted the cloak, making sure the moon insignia rested proudly on Perawat's broad shoulders. "Can't forget this now, can we?" Lek teased.
Perawt chuckled " Not if you don't want children's ward duties till your next life."
"You are whipped, Alpha"
"Whipped, crushed, smashed, waiting to be grinded " Perwat winked.
Toota chuckled," Don't even think for a second that Alpha Perwat will get Shy. He doesn't know the word since childhood"
Perawat grinned "Why? Does your chief likes Shy, Lek?"
"Shameless!" Lek muttered," Phi Prachaya is more fun to tease."
"Indeed true" Perwat smirked " I can back that claim. He blushes the prettiest."
All three chuckled. "Now Lek, can you give this to your phi?
"What is this?"
"Your phi will know"
"Your chestplate still needs to be-"
"I will see to it" Toota assured.
Smilimg, Lek ran to Prachaya.
Toota, meticulous in his craft, fastened the chestplate, each clasp echoing the moon general's unwavering strength.
"Looking every bit the commanding general, aren't we, Perawat?"Perawat chuckled, "Thanks to your impeccable help, Ai Tot. Now, let's join the celebration with the moon tribe , you have been waiting for it forever."
With Toota by his side, Perawat, strode confidently towards the ceremonial grounds.
"I must say, the moon tribe colors suit you, my lord." Toota teased " I wonder if the moon goddess herself would be tempted by such regal charm."
Perawat, unfazed by their teasing, chuckled and replied, "I dress to honor the occasion, brother. But if it catches a certain omega's eye, then all the better."
Everyone was already present when Perawat reached near the altar . His eyes zeroed in on the person standing on the altar.
Prachaya's snow-white robes, adorned with silver embroidery, draped him in ethereal elegance. The celestial patterns mirrored moonlit constellations, accentuating his graceful form. The wide sleeves and silver sash added regal sophistication, while the trailing fabric created a celestial train. Prachaya, embodying moonlight's mystique, stood as a living portrait of grace under the blue moon's radiance, poised for the sacred rituals that would shape the Moon Pack's destiny.
..........................................
Cheerful murmur pulled Prachaya's attention to the new arrival. Prachaya's heart skipped a beat as Perawat emerged in the war general's royal attire, a vision of strength and authority. The moon tribe warpaint still adorned his face, accentuating the determination in his gaze. The regal ensemble, a fusion of red and deep gold hues, draped over Perawat's powerful form, showcasing his prowess as a leader.
In that moment, Prachaya couldn't help but marvel at the commanding presence of his alpha, a formidable force ready to protect and lead under the moonlit banner of the moon tribe.
"Esteemed moon pack" Prachaya addressed.
The hushed murmurs of the moon pack faded as all eyes turned toward their chief, a symbol of strength and gratitude.
"Esteemed Moon Pack," Prachaya began, his voice carrying the weight of sincerity, "as the Blue Moon graces us with its celestial dance, I stand before you, humbled and honored. Tonight, under its luminous gaze, we express our deepest gratitude to the Moon Goddess, the guardian of our pack, the provider of life, health, and unity."
A gentle breeze rustled through the gathering, as if nature itself joined in the solemn moment.
"Our journey has been one of challenges and triumphs, but through it all, the Moon Goddess has illuminated our path. We thank her for the bountiful harvest, healthy pups, for the strength to overcome adversity, and for the bonds that unite us as a pack."
Prachaya's eyes scanned the faces of his kin, reflecting the moon's radiance. "Let us cherish the love that binds us, the loyalty that fortifies us, and the wisdom that guides us. As we revel in the festivities, let our hearts beat in harmony with the moon's rhythm, a testament to our enduring connection with the celestial forces that watch over us."
He raised his arms in a gesture of reverence, concluding, "May the Moon Goddess continue to bless and protect our pack. Let this Blue Moon Festival be a celebration of gratitude, unity, and the everlasting bond between the moon and her devoted children."
The moonlit night echoed with the collective howl of the tribe, a harmonious symphony of gratitude that resonated beneath the celestial canvas of the Blue Moon.
"Let us begin the festival by thanking mother moon for all she had given us" Prachya raised his hands in air, the logs arranged infront of the altar automatically caught fire. "I request Alpha Gamon to do the honor of first sacrifice to mother moon." Prachaya announced. Gamon stood up from his chair, Prachaya presented him a ritual platter which the tribals lined up to fill full with different kinds of grains from their first harvest and different wooden carvings . Sitting on his knees, Gamon presented it to the fire with bowed head. "Blessed be" He mumbled, folding his hands and glanced at the moon.
"Blessed be" The pack chanted.
As Gamon was paying Tribute, Lek whispered to Perawat " You are to pay tribute next alpha . Follow me" Lek took him through lines of moon pack tribals who nodded at his and touched their hands to their hearts to show their gratitudes.
Alpha Perwaat stood with the empty ceremonial platter in his hands, the pack members rushed to fill his platter with grains, wooden carvings, healing herbs, honey and butter that symbolised prosperity. His ceremonial platter was full within seconds, Lek took the filled platter and handed him an empty one which was full within minutes too. Thirty or so pack members were still waiting with teary eyes and smiling faces to present him their gifts.
Perwat had six platters full until last of adult member presented his gift. After the adults , children and teens were in line with different precious things they had searched to offer to the alpha they looked up at.
"Urumi..so that you became as great weilder as our phi" The little girsl boldly prsented her wooden figurine " And this good luck pendant so you save more fathers like you saved mine " she mumbled kissing Perawat's kncvkles.
"I concede you are better alpha for our phi than any of us " Alpha Sai presented him with golden eagle's feather and yin and yang symbol.
"Soldiers to protect you "A doe eyed girl had carved him a whole battalion of little soldiers, all laced with weapons.
Perawat swallowed, barely controlling his tears. The children had all brought him all things they considered most precious. One had even brought him her guardian wolf so he can always be protected from any backstabbing enemy.
"I don't know if the abyssal sceptre is true phi, but if it is I pray that mother moon grants it to you so you can save all packs like you saved ours " The young omega placed his beautifully adorned staff.
Carved from a mysterious, luminescent coral found deep within the ocean abyss, this scepter was believed to hold dominion over water and moon magic. Legends tell of a powerful wolf who once wielded it to control tides, summon lunar storms, and command sea creatures.
" Moon Pack, " Perwat addressed overwhelmed "cherished kin of the night, I stand before you with a heart overflowing with gratitude. In the gentle glow of our lunar guardian, we gather as one family, bound by the silken threads of unity and strength.
Tonight, under the watchful eyes of the moon goddess, we celebrate not only our triumphs but the spirit that unites us. Your unwavering support, the courage that courses through each of your veins, is the foundation upon which our nation thrives.
I extend my deepest appreciation to the wise Alpha Gamon, a stalwart leader whose wisdom guides us through the darkest hours. Your presence illuminates our path, and I am honored to walk beside you and call you my brother.
To the resilient members of moon tribe, I salute your dedication, loyalty, and resilience that paints a portrait of strength. In the face of adversity, you stand unwavering, a testament to the indomitable spirit that defines the Moon Pack.
I am and will be eternally thankful to the chief and the healer as well as each and every member of moon tribe who did not give up hope even when I , myself had lost all the hope to live. Today, I am standing infront of you is every bit credited to you. Thank you for honoring me by making me not only a guest but party to your celbrations. Gracefully bowing on one knee Perawat offered the tributes to the holy fire.
Willing his claw to extend, he made a cut on his palm" I offer my blood to mother moon and our nation. I promise to do everything in mynpower to keep this pack and our nation safe" The cheering howls were ear defeaning. Perawat couldn't control his joy and howled at the moon. The pack followed him.
"Let us remember those who came before us, whose spirits dance with the stars. Their legacy lives on in the howl of the night wind and the shimmering glow of the moonlit sky.
Tonight, let our howls harmonize with the celestial melody, a song of triumph and unity. Moon Pack, I thank you from the depths of my heart, and together, under the eternal gaze of the moon goddess, we shall continue to thrive and conquer the shadows that may linger.
May our bonds endure like the moon's gentle glow, timeless and eternal. Blessed be"
Prachaya smiled proudly, shouting with the pack " Blessed be."
As the alpha descended the altar, a thunderous applause erupted from the Moon Pack. The cheers seemed to linger longer than usual, a wave of excitement spreading through the crowd. Whispers of approval and admiration passed between pack members, a shared sentiment that resonated strongly in the cool night air.
Eyes turned to the elders, who wore expressions of pride and contentment as they observed Perawat being honored. Their nods and subtle smiles conveyed a silent endorsement, a recognition of Perawat's significance within the pack.
.................................
After Gamon, Perwat and Toota, all the elders of the pack lined up to pay their tributes to holy fire. It was their custom to thank the moon goddess for granting their wishes by sacrificing their most cherished items. Perawat wasn't much surprised seeing people even sacrificing gold chains and ivory objects to the fire. Greater the wish granted, precious were the items offered in sacrifice.
Prachaya descended the altar and sat at his designated position as Chief of the tribe. As the chief, he will be the last to make the sacrifice - on the third day of celebration.
People who were done paying tribute to holy fire were mingling around, smiling and laughing and visiting different tents that were set up offering services like tattooing, jwelery making, bead carving, fortune telling and much more.
"Prince Toota, would you like to visit our fortuen teller?" Prachya asked "People belive in getting their near future predicted today."
"Sure" Toota also dragged Gamon with him, Perwaat willingly trailed behind.
Under the silken canopy of the old lady's tent, the air buzzed with a mystical energy, swirling with secrets only the fates could unveil. Prachaya, accompanied by Toota, Gamon, and Perawat , ventured into the dimly lit sanctuary of divination.
The tent, adorned with tapestries depicting celestial events, seemed to breathe with ancient wisdom. The old lady, a keeper of forgotten lore and a weaver of destinies, welcomed them with eyes that gleamed like ancient constellations.Toota's curiosity danced in her eyes as the old lady beckoned them to sit. The air was heavy with the scent of incense, and the flickering candles cast shadows that whispered of tales untold.
The wise seer, with hands weathered by time, spread an ancient cloth before her. "Let the threads of fate reveal the tapestry of your destinies," she murmured, her voice a haunting melody that echoed in the sacred space. "Who would like to sit first ?" she asked.
"I..." Gamon raised his hand. The old lady offered him the seat
Gamon, with a furrowed brow, listened intently as the old lady's voice resonated through the mystical confines of the tent.
Her words, a cryptic prose, echoed like whispers of ancient spirits."In the realm where moonlight kisses the edge of shadows, your heart's desire lies. Neither on solid land, nor in the depths of water or the vastness of air," the seer intoned, her eyes clouded with the weight of prophecy.
"A place neither within your kingdom's walls nor beyond its borders."Gamon's gaze intensified, his mind racing to decipher the enigma veiled in the seer's words. Toota exchanged a puzzled glance with Prachaya, their curiosity piqued.
"But heed this, noble alpha," the seer continued, her voice carrying a warning. "As you stand on the precipice of discovery, guard against the tempests that may follow. Pleasure, power, and greed are winds that can whisk away even the mightiest of souls. Should you succumb, your spirit animal, the essence of your being, will part ways with you, leaving behind an empty vessel."
Gamon's jaw tightened, absorbing the gravity of the forewarning. The air in the tent seemed charged with an otherworldly energy as the seer's words lingered like a shroud of uncertainty. The alpha, now burdened with the knowledge of a quest both elusive and perilous, nodded solemnly. "I am afraid, I have not understood it elder"
"Oh, But' you have, my child" The old lady's eyes twinkled " Your heart will take you to your treasure"
"Thank you, wise one," Gamon uttered, his gaze unwavering, bowing to the elder, he left the Tent. Little did he know that the cryptic path ahead would challenge not only his strength as an alpha but also the resilience of his very soul.
The old seer's eyes, now fixed on Toota, gleamed with an ancient knowing as she beckoned him to the seat of revelation. Toota, intrigued yet uncertain, took his place beneath the celestial tapestries.
"In the embrace of the ethereal glow, young prince, a quest of the soul awaits you," the seer began, her voice resonating with an otherworldly timbre. "Before the blue moon fades into the shadows, you shall encounter the missing part of your soul."
Toota's eyes widened with a blend of curiosity and disbelief. Prachaya and Perawat exchanged glances, their intrigue matching Toota's as the seer continued to unravel the threads of fate.
"The celestial dance of the blue moon will illuminate the path to a connection that transcends time," the seer prophesied, her hands moving in a mysterious dance above the ancient cloth. "In the realm where destiny converges with desire, you shall encounter a soul entwined with yours, completing the tapestry of your existence.
"But, I am not searching for my mate, elder " Toota said politely, heavily blushing.
The old lady smiled knowingly " We find treasure when we are not looking for it"
Nodding, Toota exited the Tent, various shades of pink dotting his cheeks.
The old seer's eyes, clouded with a mysterious intensity, turned toward Perawt as if guided by unseen forces.
Without a word, she gestured for him to take a seat upon the ancient cloth, and the atmosphere within the tent seemed to thicken with an unspoken gravity
."In the realm where shadows dance with the flickering flames, a path of healing unfolds for you," she began, her voice an ethereal melody weaving through the air. "But within the sanctuary of your greatest treasure lies a delicate vulnerability."
Prachaya, captivated by the enigma of her words, listened intently as the seer continued her cryptic prose.
"Beware, keeper of hearts," she whispered, the words echoing in the sacred space. "Darkness, draped in the guise of trust, may attempt to unravel the threads that bind your greatest treasure to your soul."
Perwat and Prachaya exchanged concerned glances, sensing the weight of the seer's warning. The tent, illuminated by the soft glow of candles, seemed to hold its breath as the seer's gaze bore into Perawat's very essence. "The essence of your being, a treasure beyond measure, is coveted by shadows that hunger for the light within," the seer continued, her fingers tracing invisible lines on the ancient cloth. "Guard against the whispers of deceit and the tendrils of jealousy, for they may threaten to extinguish the brilliance within your grasp."
Perawat's brow furrowed, a mixture of curiosity and concern clouding his features. The seer's words seemed to carry a weight that transcended the present moment, delving into the intricacies of his soul.
"As you tread the path of duty, let the beacon of your own light guide you through the labyrinth of shadows," the seer advised, her voice a gentle yet haunting reminder. "For in preserving your own radiance, you fortify the sanctuary of your greatest treasure against the encroaching darkness." As Perawat absorbed the cryptic guidance, he felt a sense of responsibility settling upon his shoulders. The old seer, having unraveled a portion of the tapestry of his destiny, met his gaze with a depth of understanding that echoed through the ages. The air in the tent remained charged with the mystical energy of revelation as the seer concluded, "May the threads of fate weave a path where your greatest treasure shines untarnished, and your heart remains steadfast against the shadows that seek to dim its brilliance."
The old seer's eyes shifted towards Prachaya, a knowing gaze that seemed to pierce through the layers of time. "And who seeks the guidance of the fates next?" she inquired, her voice resonating with ancient authority. Prachaya, though intrigued, hesitated for a moment before stepping forward. The air in the tent hung thick with anticipation as the wise woman gestured for him to take a seat upon the aged fabric.
As Prachya settled, the seer's fingers danced gracefully across the ancient cloth, and her voice became a soft incantation. "In the dance of embers and the whispers of the night, your path unfolds. A healer and guide, your destiny is intertwined with the threads of service and compassion."
Perawat and Prachaya exchanged glances, recognizing the accuracy of the seer's words. Perawat's eyes, filled with curiosity, remained fixed on the wise woman as she continued to unravel the tapestry of his fate.
"Through the corridors of time, your hands will weave remedies, and your words will mend wounds unseen. Yet, beware the allure of shadows that may seek to dim your light. The gift of healing carries both a blessing and a burden," the seer intoned, her words weaving a delicate dance in the air.
prachaya nodded, acknowledging the weight of the foretelling. The tent seemed to hum with an energy that echoed the interconnectedness of the spiritual and earthly realms."As you tread the path of healing, remember the balance between giving and preserving your own essence," the seer advised, her eyes holding a mixture of wisdom and concern. "For in the pursuit of mending others, you, too, must safeguard the flame within." With gratitude, Perawat expressed his thanks to the seer, his heart touched by the profound insights shared. Little did he realize that the threads of his destiny, intricately woven that day, would guide him through a journey of healing that extended beyond the physical and into the depths of the soul.
....................................
As they exited they tent,Prachya's brows were furrowed "Are you worried about the prophecy abut treachery, my dearest?" Alpha asked.
Prachya nodded " The seer had never been wrong.
"Prophecies are but a guidance, my heart." Perwat soothed him" I will keep the caution in mind.
Prachya nodded.
"I can't wait to get my hands on you.." Perwat suddenly mumbled in his ear.
Prachya's eyes widened "Pervert alpha" He hit Perwat's elbow, blushing.
"How do you expect us to combat without touching?" Perwat innocemtly asked " Who is the real pervert among us, my omega?"
"You..."
"Not you,...Yours" Perwat grinned, having succesfully flustered Prachya.
The ringing of bell had them hurrying towards arena. "I was looking forward to getting our names carved on a bead " Perwat whined.
Prachya rolled his eyes " You are not in your first growth spurts Alpha. That is for young mates"
"A tattoo then "
" Don't you dare" Prachya glared " That is for teens ".
"Doesn't matter, I am neither old nor any less crazy about you "
" Don't let me see you anywhere near those shops "
"Atleast let's get a matching Armlet"
Prachya huffed " After the match. I pray all the little devils wil get bored of that shop till then or I won't ever hear the end of it "
Perwat chuckled " They are angles"
"Ofcourse " Prachya smiled sweetly " How about I give your their Guardian's duty, tomorrow?"
" Those little spawns of Satan " Perwat sighed dramatically nad Prachya couldn't help but laugh.
..................
"The moon reached its zenith, bathing the challenge arena in an ethereal glow.
The crowd gathered in hushed anticipation, awaiting the second round of the weapon combat. Perawat and Vasi, both formidable alphas, faced each other with unwavering determination.
Elder Suttha's voice resonated through the still night air,
"Contestants, prepare yourselves for the second round. Remember, this is a test of both skill and strategy."
Perawat and Vasi circled each other, eyes locked, measuring the other's movements. The air crackled with tension as the alphas readied their weapons, anticipation building with each passing second.
As the first clash of blades echoed, it became apparent that this wouldn't be an ordinary confrontation. Vasi, known for his prowess in hand-to-hand combat, unexpectedly disarmed Perawat with a swift move, sending the weapon spinning across the arena. The audience gasped in surprise.
Perawat, undeterred, assessed the situation quickly. In a surprising turn of events, he chose not to retrieve his weapon but instead shifted into a defensive stance, relying on his instincts and agility. Vasi, sensing an opportunity, closed in, delivering powerful strikes. However, Perawat adeptly dodged and parried, showcasing a level of agility that left the spectators in awe. The unexpected twist lay in Perawat's decision to transform the weaponless encounter into a display of his acrobatic and evasive skills.
The crowd, initially puzzled by this unorthodox approach, erupted into cheers as Perawat gracefully maneuvered around Vasi's attacks. His movements were a dance, a testament to the fluidity of his combat style. Vasi, momentarily thrown off balance by the unexpected turn, struggled to adapt.
Perawat, seizing the moment, launched a series of swift kicks and punches, creating an intricate and mesmerizing display of martial prowess.
The moon bore witness to this captivating exchange, a showcase of both strategy and adaptability.
Elder Suttha, a grin breaking his stern expression, watched in silent approval.
The unexpected twist in the second round had transformed the weapon combat into a spectacle of skillful evasion and strategic counterattacks. As the clash reached its climax, Perawat, with a final flourish, disarmed Vasi with a breathtaking aerial kick.
The arena fell into a stunned silence, broken only by the triumphant cheers of the moon tribe. Perawat, weaponless yet victorious, bowed gracefully to Vasi, who acknowledged the unexpected twist with a nod of respect.
The crowd erupted into applause, celebrating the victory of their prince and beloved alpha.
.......
It was the final match.
The atmosphere in the challenge arena was charged with tension as the moon hung high in the night sky. The crowd held its collective breath, anticipating the final scene of the hand-to-hand combat between Alpha Perawat and Omega Prachaya. The connection between them, loaded with desire and unspoken longings, added an electrifying element to the already charged air.
Perawat and Prachaya faced each other, eyes locked in a silent conversation that transcended words. The moon tribe and visiting alphas watched, captivated by the complex dance of emotions playing out before them.
Prachaya, his movements fluid and graceful, circled Perawat with a deceptive ease. There was an undeniable chemistry between them, a magnetic pull that neither could ignore. Perawat, the fierce alpha, displayed controlled strength, his gaze never wavering from Prachaya.
The crowd murmured, sensing the underlying tension. Elder Suttha observed with a knowing smile, recognizing the unspoken connection between the two warriors.
As the clash began, it was clear that this was more than a physical confrontation. Every move, every strike, carried the weight of their shared history and suppressed desires. Prachaya skillfully dodged Perawat's powerful blows, his movements a dance that spoke volumes in the silent arena.
In a moment of unexpected vulnerability, Perawat hesitated, a flicker of emotion crossing his face. Prachaya seized the opportunity, closing the distance between them with a lightning-fast series of movements. In a heartbeat, he pressed a precise acupressure point on Perawat's neck, rendering the alpha unconscious without landing a single blow on him.
The arena fell into a stunned hush as Prachaya stood over the fallen alpha, his chest heaving with exertion.
Elder Suttha, breaking the silence, announced, "Omega Prachaya is the victor."
As Prachaya stood there, victorious yet conflicted, he cast a lingering glance at the unconscious form of Perawat. His heart fearful of facing the alpha in sunlight.
Only tomorrow will tell if he will be pushed away or patted on his back.
The moon tribe erupted into a mix of cheers and whispers, their reactions as diverse as the emotions that had unfolded in the challenge arena. Prachaya, with a conflicted expression, bowed in acknowledgment before leaving the arena.
