Arjun
"I lost her Arjun. She left..." I heard Jay say, once the call connected. He's voice sounded as he was crying.
"Jay, what happened, who left " I asked him, not getting the context as I was already in a little messed up mind state.
"Arjun, my Nisha, she left, she's marrying someone, I never had a chance to confess my love, Arjun... I lost her, man!" He said in between he's sobs while shouting a little in frustration.
"Hold on. Jay, where are you right now?"
"I'm in my fathers warehouse." He replied and I quickly got in my car driving towards the location.
"Jay, shssh, calm down, okay, everything is alright, we'll find her, don't worry..." I consoled, hoping he would calm down a little but all in vain.
"No Arjun, I lost her, I should've been brave enough..." He was saying and suddenly the call disconnected, I tried to call him again, but it was switched off.
Please keep him safe.
I prayed, and continued driving in a high speed so i reach him soon.
.
.
"Jay, where are you?, Jay?!!" I called out as soon as I reached the warehouse only to hear some muffled cries from one corner.
I quickly went there, to see Jay crying as if he would die the next moment.
"Jay, see I'm here, we would do something and bring her back, don't worry, shssh, well get her, calm down!" I said hugging him while caressing his back which made him a little calm from his hyperactive state.
"Arjun, I lost her, yaar, why was I never brave enough, to tell her about my feelings, if I had did so, things would have been so different." He said, he's crying stopped, yet his voice saddening at each word.
"You think you could've stopped if you had confessed your feelings?" I asked him.
"Yes!" He said nodding his head vigorously.
"You think, you would be able to live without her?" I asked him again.
"No, what are you saying Arjun, I love her, I love Nisha, how can I live without her." He said and again tears were starting to flow down from his eyes.
I was about to console him, but before that a voice stopped me.
"Yes!!, Finally!! " Our heads snapped to the direction of voice, to see Nisha walking towards us.
Wait a minute!
Nisha?
"Nisha? " Jay whispered slowly.
"Yes, Mr. Jay Shrivastav, I'm here." She said as she approached us.
"Nisha, you're here, I thought I'd lost you." Jay said and quickly hugged her as if his life was dependent on her.
"Wait a minute, people, what is going on? Nisha, and how can you marry knowing he loves you." I said looking at her accusingly.
Before she could answer, Jay interrupted her " What? How does she...?"
"Yes, of course I know he loves me, and I love him too... " Before she could say anything else, Jay again interrupted her.
"What? You love me? Like real love kind of love?" He asked her to which she nodded her head, and he again hugged, this time even picking her up and twirling around.
"Wait a minute people, do whatever you want later on, first let her completely tell what is all this mess. "
"Yes, yes, you continue Nisha" He said to her.
"Actually, I knew that he loved me but was never brave enough to confess, so I had to set up all this drama, so that this idiot finally confesses." She said smacking his head, to which he muttered a little sorry.
Adorable!
"So, you're not marrying anyone and this was all your plan?" I asked, reconfirming.
"Yes, of course, after all, nobody's even going to marry me except him. No one can tolerate me." She said while Jay looked at me with a proud smirk.
"See how much dehydration he faced because of you, if you just wanted confession, you could've directly asked him." I said.
"I know, but it's no fun. See the amount of pain he felt, just seeing a mere invitation which was fake, this definitely just made it obvious that he's never going to leave me." She said, and to be honest, I just felt that she's watching a lot of soap operas lately with her grandma
"So you love me, and you're not marrying anyone?" He asked her again.
"Oh yes dummy, I'm going to marry you and only you." She said.
"See Arjun, everything is fine! She mine, only mine." He said looking at her.
"Only yours!" She replied and both had an eye lock.
Finally, my happy Jay is back, I was seeing them both with happy smiles on there faces, when it suddenly stuck me, exactly why did I call him.
"Jay, if this is all over, can we talk now? " I asked him.
"Oh yeah, sure, what do you want to talk? " He said before I could answer interrupted me again.
"You just said, I looked dehydrated, let's discuss everything over a glass of coke and some fries and burger on side." He said and walked off before I could even give my opinion on that point.
"You could've just said a burger meal!" I said with a loud voice, but I guess he didn't hear me.
.
.
.
Right now we're sitting in one of Jay's favourite café, and he's busy staring at Nisha, unbothered by the food.
Hmm, this is new.
I fake coughed to bring him out of his dream so that he answers my questions.
"Jay, can we please keep in my mind that we've came here so that we can discuss my problem?"
"Oh, yes, tell me, what problem "
"I wanted to know about what is going on with Krisha. " I asked straightforward considering he literally knows everything about me.
"Oh, your crush?, no, no, more than Crush? " He asked with a mischievous smile.
"Hmm, so tell me what all you know about her right now."
"She just broke up, and her mother is sending her on dates with different guys. " He said and started eating while Nisha was looking at us like we're some ghosts.
"Are you sure she is going on dates?" I asked curiously.
"Oh yes, my mother had a talk with her mother early morning to discuss all the date situation. He said.
And if you guys didn't understand it till now, Jay's mother and Krisha's mother are best friends. And so all the information passing happens.
"Ok, I'll go now." I said getting up, a little sad about what I heard.
She'll get married soon.
"Just a advice, don't do the mistake I did earlier, it was fake for me what happened but it maybe real for you." He said and I nodded while leaving.
I was processing all he said and then it clicked me.
He was saying that now I should do what he didn't, I should let out my feelings before they don't matter anymore.
Yes, I'm going to do it.
Let's reach home soon, after all Mom has a phone call to make.
