“Okay, Miss Shen.” Miss Na then turned around and went out of the room.

Shortly thereafter, Miss Na returned. This time, she brought Su Qi in. “Miss Su, please enter!”

Su Qi was wearing a beige dress today. Her pearl necklace and earrings rendered her appearance demure and ladylike.

Su Qi nodded and grinned before placing her purse on the table. She added to Shen Yan, “These are the happiness candies from us. I hope that A Yan and I will be able to sip your wedding toast as soon as possible.”

Shen Yan smiled and said, “Thank you. I will personally send the invitation over.”

The smile on Su Qi’s face became even brighter. She remarked, “Then, I’ll wait for the wonderful news. It is getting late, so I will no longer bother Miss Shen. I’ll return first!”

Shen Yan smiled and guided Su Qi to the door with a firm hand.

Su Qi took several steps and appeared to recall something. She turned to face Shen Yan and remarked with sincerity, “Miss Shen, there’s something else. I would like to apologize.”

Su Qi added with a hearty chuckle, “Lu Yan, I advise you not to think too highly of yourself!”

Some people who passed by Su Qi were terrified by her laughter. They immediately avoided her.

Lu Yan abruptly hung up the phone and tossed it to the side. He looked annoyed as he placed his hand on his nose and pinched it.
