When Shen Yan came out of the hospital, she drove straight to Moon Bay.

The door opened as Shen Yan stopped hercar.

Lin Mu walked out with a smile and said, “Didn’t you say that you weren’t free?”

Shen Yan smiled and said, “Chen Nian lied to you!”

She walked inside with Lin Mu and asked curiously, “Are you on a break recently?”

“Yes, I heard that you and Fu Hang are getting engaged. Congratulations!”

“Thank you!”

The two of them chatted as they walked. When they reached the backyard, Chen Nian was fighting with Wang Lei for food. When she saw Shen Yan, she quickly yelled, “Yanyan, come over and help me. Wang Lei wants to steal your food!”

Shen Yan walked over with a smile and flung the bag in her hand onto the chair beside her. Then, she picked up the chopsticks and pressed down on Wang Lei’s hand mercilessly. “Be sensible and quickly take your hand back!”

Wang Lei snorted helplessly. “I really can’t afford to offend you.”

Chen Nian was extremely happy when she saw Shen Yan coming over. She made a face at Wang Lei triumphantly.

Lin Mu picked up the cup and poured a glass of fruit juice. Then, he handed it to Shen Yan. “Here you go, orange juice!”

“Thank you.” Shen Yan thanked him. Before she drank it, she heard footsteps coming from afar.

“Yanyan, I heard about your good nes. Congratulations!” Xiao Ya smiled and walked over from afar.

Shen Yan smiled at Xiao Ya and said, “Among us, only Xiao Ya is the fastest!”

Chen Nian nodded as she ate and said, “That’s right! No one would have thought that Xiao Ya would be the fastest to get married among us!”

Hearing Chen Nian’s words, Xiao Ya looked aggrieved and said, “You see, I told you that we shouldn’t get married so early!”

Shen Yan sat at the side and pretended not to hear.

The group of them had not seen each other for a long time, so they ate the barbecue and chatted.

At noon, Xiao Ya specially ordered some food. After everyone was full, they got ready to play mahjong.

Chen Nian liked to play mahjong, but she was very good at it. Her face was almost completely covered in notes after two hours.

Because everyone had something to do at night, they dispersed.

Shen Yan played all day. When she returned to the apartment, she was the only one inside.

At this moment, she desperately hoped that Fu Hang could come back early.

Shen Yan was not in the mood to cook because Fu Hang was not home. She ordered a take-out, watched a movie on the sofa, and prepared to wash up and sleep.

Shen Yan could now catch up on the sleep she missed last night because she didn’t sleep properly.

Shen Yan looked at the time. It was past nine o’clock, and she felt that Fu Hang shouldn’t be busy. She called Fu Hang and found that his phone was turned off.

Shen Yan left a message for Fu Hang, put on a mask, and lay down on the bed to sleep.

When the alarm clock on her phone rang, Shen Yan hurriedly got up and took off the mask on her face. After some simple skin care, she returned to the bed to sleep.

This time, Shen Yan slept very soundly. She did not notice that there was an additional person by the bed.

At two o’clock in the morning, Fu Hang saw that the master bedroom light was still on downstairs. He thought that Shen Yan was not asleep, but he did not expect to see Shen Yan sleeping soundly the moment he opened the door.

He was still cold from the chilly air outside and was worried that he would wake Shen Yan. Instead, he quietly went to the cloakroom to get his clothes before making his way to the guest bedroom to use the bathroom.
