Shen Yan clearly saw Xie Ran bumping into Fu Hang’s hand just now.

Fu Hang’s eyes were full of smiles. “Really.”

Shen Yan was about to say something when Fu Hang’s hand caressed her head and said softly, “Don’t look at me like that. It makes me want to do something wrong!”

Shen Yan’s ears turned red uncontrollably. Fu Hang was still in the mood to joke, which meant that Xie Ran didn’t bump into his hand just now.

“All right, let’s head back now.” Fu Hang said as he calmly held her hand.

Shen Yan nodded.

Fu Hang appeared at the dinner banquet today. Shen Yan would definitely sue that person who said Fu Hang was dead for spreading rumors.

When Shen Yan got into the car, a thought flashed through her mind. She asked, “Was Xie Ran hit by Old Master Xie?”

“Yes.”

Fu Hang fastened his seatbelt and answered casually.

Shen Yan’s gaze fell on Fu Hang’s face. “You went to visit Old Master Xie at that time, right?”

“Yes.”

Although Shen Yan had already found out, she had another feeling in her heart hearing Fu Hang say this.

Shen Yan hesitated for a moment before saying, “I heard from my father that the Xie family seemed to be in a mess.”

Fu Hang naturally understood the meaning behind Shen Yan’s words. He was also aware of Shen Yan’s worry. He smiled and said, “Don’t worry, I won’t get involved with the Xie family.”

Shen Yan was rendered speechless.

In Fu Hang’s opinion, the Xie family had nothing to do with him to begin with. “If it really doesn’t work out, I’ll push Cheng An out.”

Shen Yan smiled. She turned the key and placed both her hands on the steering wheel. Her gaze fell on the engagement ring on her hand.

When she thought about how they were going to get engaged in a few months and eventually get married, her heart was filled with anticipation.

If only time could go by more quickly.

Although Fu Hang’s hand was broken, Shen Yan did not have time to stay at home with him since she joined the crew. Fu Hang was bored to the extreme and went to his company every day.

That night, when Shen Yan returned home and saw the table full of food, she knew that Fu Hang must have ordered takeout under such circumstances.

During dinner, Shen Yan told Fu Hang about the possibility of staying up all night filming and not coming back for three days.

When Fu Hang heard what she said, he frowned slightly. “How many days exactly?”

“Three or five days. The director wants to film the night scenes together. Having everyone stay on the set saves the trouble of going back and forth,” Shen Yan explained patiently.

Shen Yan looked up and met Fu Hang’s dejected look. “Why are you looking at me like that?”

“I haven’t say anything yet!”

“Although you didn’t say anything, your eyes have already revealed everything!” Shen Yan pursed her lips and said.

Fu Hang thought for a moment and then asked, “Why don’t I accompany you to the set?”

Shen Yan was slightly stunned and shook her hand quickly. “It’s better for you to not go. This time, it’s closer to the desert in the suburbs. It’s not good for your recovery!”

Fu Hang sighed bitterly. “Are you looking down on me?”

Shen Yan was rendered speechless.

Shen Yan had set the alarm for seven in the morning. She opened her eyes in a daze. The sky outside was not bright yet, and the room was still very dark.

Just as Shen Yan was about to take out her phone, the lights in the room instantly lit up. It turned out that Fu Hang had turned on the lights.

“Morning, Darling.” Fu Hang leaned in front of Shen Yan and kissed her.

Shen Yan blinked her eyes and her gaze fell on Fu Hang’s face. “Did I wake you up?”

Fu Hang took Shen Yan into his arms and said, “I haven’t slept much.”

Shen Yan smiled at her and said, “Okay, I’m going to wash up.”

After Shen Yan washed up, she started to put on her makeup. When she was done, Fu Hang had also packed up and the takeout for breakfast was delivered.

While Shen Yan was eating breakfast, she suddenly remembered something and reminded, “Remember to ask Secretary Lin to take you to the hospital to change your bandage and get the doctor to examine you.”
