Chapter 85 - Responsibility

Lin Tao’s face turned even paler. She pursed her lips tightly and looked at Fu Hang with a puzzled expression as if she did not understand what was going on.

Fu Hang cast Lin Nan a meaningful look, and Lin Nan began to drive the others within the banquet out.

The room was cleared.

Shen Yan looked at Fu Hang with a sardonic half-smile. She walked to him in her high heels and stated, “President Fu, Miss Lin Tao seems to like you very much.”

Shen Yan’s heart vaguely ached whenever she thought of the revolting things Fu Hang had done. She did not want to let the matter go this easily.

Fu Hang looked at Shen Yan without blinking. A trace of surprise flashed in his dark eyes. He pretended to ask calmly, “What do you want to say?”

“I came to find an answer.” A smile flickered in Shen Yan’s eyes, and her red lips curved up slightly.

Lin Xing felt anxious upon hearing her words. She seemed to vaguely know what Shen Yan was going to ask. She interrupted, “Shen Yan, you have already divorced with Fu Hang. Why are you still pestering him?”

“Slap!”

Chen Nian threw a slap at Lin Xing’s face, causing her to fall directly onto the couch.

Although the reporters were all chased out, they still took out their cameras and kept taking pictures through the glass door. They only needed to write their articles based on the photos when the time comes!

“Although we’re divorced, there’s one thing I have to ask.” Shen Yan put away the smile on her face and implied calmly.

“What is it?” Fu Hang had a bad premonition in his heart, and he pursed his lips.

In the past, her eyes were full of stars when she looked at him.

“Responsibility.” Fu Hang’s thin lips opened slightly.

The smile within Shen Yan’s eyes grew, and her expression turned colder and colder. She uttered, “So, it’s just the responsibility. By the way, Lin Tao, as Fu Hang’s ex-wife, I want to remind you of something.”

Lin Tao walked out from behind Fu Hang silently and looked at Shen Yan in confusion. Her voice was gentle and tender, one that could entice people to cherish her. “Miss Shen?”

Shen Yan came to Lin Tao’s ear and said in a voice that only they could hear, “Lin Xing took care of Fu Hang for you before you woke up. She almost took him on the bed!”

When Lin Tao heard Shen Yan’s words, her palm-sized face was written with pallor. She looked at Shen Yan in disbelief.

After Shen Yan said that, she turned around and walked toward the elevator.

Lu Yan and Chen Nian followed closely behind.

Lin Xing walked over to Lin Tao and asked in a soft voice, “Sister, you look terrible. Did Shen Yan bully you?”

Lin Tao shook her head gently, although her eyes were brimming with tears.

“Then why are you crying?” Lin Xing wished that Lin Tao would just say how Shen Yan had threatened her. That way, Fu Hang be even more disgusted at Shen Yan.

“I-I’m a bit tired. I want to…” Lin Tao withdrew her hand silently and walked toward Fu Hang. Her lips trembled slightly. “Brother Hang, I want to go back.”

“I’ll send you back.” Hearing Lin Tao’s words, Fu Hang said, “Don’t interact with Shen Yan in the future. The most important thing for you now is to take care of your body.”

Lin Tao raised her eyes to look at Fu Hang. She asked hesitantly. “Brother Hang, Shen Yan—what kind of person is she?”
