Chapter 90 - Trending Again

“Fu Hang, you’re as disgusting as Lin Xing! You’re so disgusting that it makes me want to throw up!”

“One fell for his girlfriend’s sister, who is also his elder sister-in-law. The other fell for her husband’s younger brother, who is also her sister’s boyfriend. You guys really deserve each other.”

Shen Yan’s words were still echoing in his ears. By the time Fu Hang came back to his senses, he was the only one left in the hallway. His fingers trembled as he pressed on the elevator button.

Fu Hang then walked to the side of his car. However, the key could not be inserted into the car’s keyhole, no matter how hard he tried. He took out his phone and called Lin Nan, with his hands still trembling.

The poor soul, Lin Nan, had planned to go home and get some sleep. However, he took a taxi and rushed over immediately after receiving Fu Hang’s call.

“Take me back to the office.” Fu Hang tossed the car keys in his hand to Lin Nan and said indifferently. His hands were still trembling in his pockets.

Lin Nan saw that Fu Hang’s expression was not quite right. He hesitated for a moment before asking, “President Fu, is there something wrong?”

Fu Hang tilted his head and looked at Lin Nan. After pondering for a while, he remained silent, as he knew in his heart that Lin Nan would not tell the truth.

Back in the office, Fu Hang drank two bottles of red wine. His mind kept thinking about what Shen Yan said. In the end, his head hurt so much that he could not remember anything.

The next day.

Fu Xiaoxiao was woken up by the sound of the message notification on her phone. She opened her eyes in a daze and saw the screenshots of links sent by her fake friends, along with a bunch of question marks.

She then opened her eyes in confusion and clicked on the links, puzzledly.

Why was her second brother on the trending searches again?

Huh? When did Lin Tao wake up from her coma?

Fu Xiaoxiao was completely dumbfounded as to what had happened last night. She jumped up from her bed immediately and ran downstairs as fast as she could.

At this time, Old Master Fu was sitting at the dining table while looking at his tablet.

Fu Xiaoxiao rushed downstairs in a hurry. She saw Old Master Fu looking at the same microblogs as soon as she got down. She said quickly, “Grandpa, someone must have brought the trending searches to slander Second brother!”

Old Master Fu had already read through the microblogs by now. He skimmed through them with a gloomy face, and then he got so vexed that he threw his tablet down directly!

“This is simply too much! How dare Shen Yan twists the truth like this?!”

Fu Xiaoxiao shrank from the sound of Old Master Fu’s angry admonishment. She spoke carefully, “Grandpa, there must be a misunderstanding.”

“Misunderstanding? Where’s the misunderstanding?” Old Master Fu’s face was frigid. He looked up at Fu Xiaoxiao and asked, “When did Lin Tao wake up?”

Fu Xiaoxiao shook her head, implying that she did not know anything.

Old Master Fu’s face was still dark. Just then, he seemed to have thought of something and raised his eyes to look at Fu Xiaoxiao. “There hasn’t been any movement from the Lin family?”

“Grandpa, I also find this matter strange. The Lin family should have held a banquet for Lin Tao if she woke up. I asked my friends, but none of them knew that Lin Tao woke up either.” Fu Xiaoxiao pursed her lips. She was currently having a slight headache, as she had drunk too much last night.

Old Master Fu frowned and murmured, “What is the Lin family trying to do?”

As he was unable to figure out the crux of this matter, Old Master Fu looked at Fu Xiaoxiao and inquired, “Where is your second brother?”

Fu Xiaoxiao glanced at the nanny at the side quickly and asked, “Nanny Zhang, did my second brother come back last night?”

“Second Young Master didn’t come back yesterday.” Nanny Zhang lowered her head and said in a disciplined manner.

Old Master Fu then took out his phone and called Fu Hang. However, Fu Hang did not pick up his call, so he called Lin Nan.

“Old Master Fu.” Lin Nan’s voice came from the phone.

“Where’s Fu Hang?”

“Old Master Fu is working in his office.” Lin Nan sat up wearily. He had just taken the opportunity to catch up on sleep, as he was exhausted from yesterday.

“Tell him to go home.”

After Old Master Fu said that, he hung up the phone. This scared Lin Nan out of his wits, and he was instantly awake.

Lin Nan stood up immediately and walked toward the office. However, he hesitated when he reached the door. It was very likely that President Fu did not want to see anyone right now.
