**[A/N]: I usually have so much to say in these author notes. Haha, I got nothing on me right now. Hope you like the chappie! Oh wait! I do! Please, please comment. I love smiling and grinning at the comments you leave me. They honestly make my day.**
Elian's POV
Honestly, how did I get myself into this shit?
Here, I stood in front of the Unseelie Court's castle. My company was comforting to say the least, with the twins, Nikolai, and Ambrogio. This wasn't very planned and calculated correctly, but everyone seemed to just go with the flow.
Doesn't anyone ever figure out that that is how they get themselves killed?
It was all Nikolai's plan to be honest. His proposal was to make it seem like the revenge was going to be filthy and we ended up settling for a talk. That's the proper manners of the Fae for you, well those a part of the Seelie Court. He had decided that the most mature matter to handle this situation was to go confront Aeron and the Unseelie Court. It would provide me answers without putting up with a fight at all. I mean, there aren't a lot of disputes between the Fae and other races so I wouldn't really know how to approach this matter. And I suppose it is a live and learn experience.
My surroundings took me back to reality.
The air around the castle grounds was dark and dreary. There weren't any guards stationed anywhere. Order was definitely not present within this part of the Fae realm. The Unseelie Court despised order and anything closely related to how the Seelie Court ran things. I was fidgeting around in my hovering position as I waited for the castle doors to open and be greeted by Aeron.
"Eli, babe, please calm down before we go back to Italy," Kasey advised.
I frantically shook my head and tried to speak with a proper tone but epically failed, "I'm about to lose my shit in a minute. Do not order me around like that. I'll choose when I am ready to go back."
Kaspar lowly chuckled with his deep and raspy voice that made me weak at my knees, "Quite bossy and improper now, are we?"
I rolled my eyes and completely disregarded my indecent behavior, "Shush, peasants."
"Oh, just wait until we get back home," Kasey threatened as I secretly smiled.
All this was, was just a talk. To understand where the hell this belligerent fool was coming from. I wanted nothing to do with violence and scheming plans. One wrong word or suggestion that there will be a fight, and Nikolai and I will teleport elsewhere with our mates. Sure enough, Aeron and the rest of the Unseelie Court will have enough dignity to recognize my terms for the time being.
The sleek, black doors were opened and out came Aeron. He wore common Fae attire but with all dark and saddening colors. His wings were all black and held no sparkles or shine. Overall, his choice of color for his clothing made him appear to be an intimidating figure. If only I were an incompetent Fae, I would be tricked into believing an ounce of that bullshit.
I swallowed a laugh and did what was respectfully right, I met him halfway and shook his hand.
"Lord Elian, long time, no see," he noted as he acknowledged who was present with me.
The Alphas growled with a warning as if Aeron couldn't come any closer without the chance of them ripping his head off like a stuffed doll. In that moment, I knew that I was grateful to have my mates in my life. To protect me when I need to be and defend me at all times. I glanced up at both mates and grinned in appreciation for their bravery.
I turned my head ever so slightly and peeked at Ambrogio and Nikolai. They didn't seem to be at each others' throats, so that was always a good sign. Well, considering the current situation, Nikolai was harshly sending glares towards Aeron.
Aeron flew over to Nikolai with a menacing smile and patted his shoulder, "Ah, Nikolai. I heard about the destruction you had done back at the pack grounds of that disgusting homosexual accepting pack. Well done, boy."
Ambrogio never was one for a fight, but whenever it was involved with his mate, he'd be the first to throw a punch. He threw Aeron's hand off of Nikolai's shoulder and bared his fangs. Clearly showing that the consequences of hurting his mate mentally and physically will be severely life-threatening.
"Oh, calm down, vampire," Aeron dictated and that didn't go well with Ambrogio.
In a flash of a second, Ambrogio had Aeron's petty neck in his hand as he had him against the castle walls.
"I will calm down when I choose to. For now, I am content within my current state of emotion. Let me tell you something, pull something off like that with my mate and you'll be sorry. I'm sparing your insignificant life because Nikolai asks of me, so be grateful and shut your fucking mouth already," Ambrogio hissed in frustration as he let go of Aeron's neck and straightened out his clothing before heading back to his original position next to Nikolai.
"How about we just peacefully talk about the recent events and come to a conclusion that suits both parties and then be on our merry way?" Kaspar suggested and I quickly nodded, agreeing that the faster we dealt with the problem at hand, the faster we could leave.
Everyone discreetly stayed outside to continue with the meeting outside of the castle because none of us wanted to be anywhere near or within the bleak castle walls.
"So, what brings you here?" Aeron asked with a smirk.
"Enough with the childish remarks. You certainly know why we've come. Not for a fight, but for answers and a treaty," I replied shortly.
"Why have you done what you've done?" Nikolai croaked out as if he were remembering what he had done.
"Forgive me if I thought it was pretty obvious, but a pack or any group of beings that are lead by a homosexual pair of leaders is abominable," he commented and I was seeing red.
"It certainly doesn't concern you to have the power over one of my own and create havoc at the pack's grounds! Mind your own business and turn the other way if this bothers you so very much. I never thought one would go this far with their hatred," I snarled in disgust at his behavior.
"Just be happy you aren't next. I know that you are experiencing issues with the Alphas, finally figuring out that you are wrong for them and vice versa. Otherwise, you'd be hurt in some way by me. If the three of you end up together, I will not hesitate to devastate those that are close to you."
Nothing else that he could have said could have made me more resentful towards him. He was the epitome of destruction due to no right reason.
And to defeat this delirious man, I simply lied.
"You're right. I can't stand the Alphas at the moment and I don't think we could take this relationship any further than it has already gone. Thank the heavens that I'm not next. Who is next then?" I asked, trying to slowly milk information out of him without him noticing.
The Alphas frowns were genuine and I hope they were just for show because my stomach twisted into knots. They had to know that I was lying, because I love them both till my last breath. I'd also just noticed that I've never told them that I loved them. That would have to soon be resolved.
"That's right, you should be on your knees, thanking me. If you're not next, surely it'd be the Salina Pack. They've been bugging me the most after Lacus Pack which happened to be Zane and Stefan's pack," he hinted and I had no idea who the leaders of the Salina Pack were.
"There are two Female Alphas, quite differentiable among other packs," Kaspar informed me and I thought that they must be pretty kickass.
"But that is for me to worry about! Fortunately for me, there aren't many packs with homosexual leaders. However, NIkolai, you better not mate with this lifeless form before me. Or I'd be against you too and I wouldn't want that after all you've done for me. I'd just have to move on to other races then," Aeron explained.
Ambrogio scrunched his nose up and decided against speaking up for himself.
With a roll of my eyes, I was done with this meeting, "I believe we just wanted to clarify things, sorry for disturbing you from your plans. I can clearly see that a treaty would be the last thing you'd want. But, I do leave these words for you. There will come a time when karma will come after you. And I'll be its righthand man."
"Well, it was nice to see you. Hope things with your mates never work out so I don't have to come after you," Aeron authentically pointed out.
I reached for both of my mates' hands and teleported back to Italy before I was forced to hear another word from that slimy Fae. And by the looks of it, so had Nikolai and Ambrogio.
"I can't believe him! What the hell are we going to do now?" Nikolai furiously said as he paced the room.
"All I know as of now, is that we need to head to the Salina Pack. They're in danger, they need to be warned. Not to mention that I partly feel responsible for all that is about to go down, so I feel as if going there in person is the only right thing to do," I announced, glancing up at the Alphas, hoping that they wouldn't fight me on this plan and to my surprise, they nodded with determination in their eyes.
Ambrogio cleared his throat, "Very well said, Elian. I agree."
When Ambrogio voiced his opinion, Nikolai snapped his head in Ambrogio's direction and glared.
"And you! I don't need you to protect me from anything. I am perfectly capable of taking care of myself," he said as he pointed an accusatory finger at Ambrogio.
"Doesn't that saying sound familiar, Kasey?" Kaspar taunted me through the mindlink.
"Now that I come to think of it, it sounds quite familiar. Just don't know from where," Kasey answered back and they both laughed at the annoyance that I felt at the moment.
"I guess we'll find out who will be laughing in the end when we are in bed tonight," I threatened the two of them as their faces remained stoic as ever once again.
"Me? I was helping you! We're mates! That's what mates do. Protect and love each other," Ambrogio countered back in anger.
"We. Are. Not. Mates," Nikolai spat back.
Ambrogio wistfully laughed and approached Nikolai, grabbing his arm, "You don't feel this electric current flowing between us? This need to be with each other. Tell me you don't feel it and I will never pursue you ever again. There are witnesses to be living proof of what I promised today."
Please stop pulling away, Nikolai. You're only hurting yourself in the end. Trust me.
I wish I could tell him these words before he made the biggest mistake, "I don't feel a god damn thing."
A frown settled upon my face as I watched Ambrogio sadly smile and turn to the three of us before leaving, "I'll be ready to travel in the morning, Alphas and Luna. Have a good night, especially you, Nik- Mr. Kane."
My heart twisted as Ambrogio used Nikolai's last name to address him. It was all formality at this point, and my heart broke for Ambrogio.

"Lord Elian, how did you manage to get yourself so sucked into this war?" One of the Elders questioned as I sat in the usual chair of the Grand Room with the Seelie Court and new guests, the Alphas.
We decided the next morning, that I really needed to call for a meeting before I went on and did more things without the approval or consent of the Seelie Court. Even though I was ruler, I still wanted to have the support of others in my decision. This wasn't a dictatorship in my eyes, I wanted my people to have more of a say in their lives. They simply needed guidance.
"Very good question Elder. I never intended to be involved in so much danger. This is simply what happens when you have more allies. More allies comes enemies. And Aeron needs to be disciplined. This is farther than something I had ever imagined. Fae are not monsters, Seelie or Unseelie orientated," I reasoned with the council, in hopes of approval.
"I suppose you are right. You may go and resolve this. However, I really need you to have the Fae warriors close by at all times. You need to stop leaving them places. Especially Nikolai, keep him close. We will figure out the mating circumstances when you shall return."
I nodded in appreciation for their understanding and thanked them before dismissing the meeting. As I was going to check up on Zane before leaving for the Salina Pack, an Elder approached me with worry in her eyes.
"Lord Elian, please be safe. The army of the Fae will be as ready as ever if you shall need assistance in this war. Make your parents proud. Make your realm proud to have you as their leader. I know you will do us justice," the heartwarming smile met her eyes and I informally pulled her in for a hug.
"Thank you Elder, I won't disappoint you."
She waved and I turned to the Alphas, a nervous expression etched onto my face.
"Where is the Salina Pack again?"
"United States of America," Kasey informed me.
"Well, California, to be specific," Kaspar added.
"Of course it is."
