2- Lustful for Love
Restless In Hiding (Boyxboyxboy)

Elian's POV
Lust.
An uncontrollable emotion of sexual desire.
Eyes filled with this lust was present in the two Alphas' eyes of the Celestial Hala Pack. Sweat secreted from my body as I contemplated on the idea that Kaspar and Kasey knew what I was up to. Their attention was always averted to me as I greeted all of the other Alphas that were present at the festivity.
When I finished with the introductions and greetings, I excused myself to the nearest restroom without the company of my guards. They were hesitant to leave me be, but they cannot disobey my orders. When I entered, I locked the door behind me and rushed to the sink to freshen up and immerse my face with cold water. Afterwards, I stuck myself in a bathroom stall and locked the door as well. My state of mind was in a frenzy as I considered the possibility of the enchantment wearing off. The odd factor of the enchantment wearing off was that it never had before. Not in the decade that I have been performing this spell had it ever failed me.
As I sighed, I heard the bathroom door being knocked down. There were two inhumane growls that were heard throughout the bathroom in harmony. Then I heard each door to a bathroom stall being knocked down, one by one, nearing to my own bathroom stall.
"Mate, where are you?" Kasey's question had a silent answer as they came closer and closer to my stall.
They would find me and claim me, I couldn't have that happen. The door to my bathroom stall was swung open when I closed my eyes and teleported to the familiar garden that the two Alphas and I would always play in as children.
Words weren't sufficient enough to describe the undeniable beauty of the garden. Rare flowers and plants were sprung from the ground, with benches stationed at different angles, and the sunrises and sunsets were easily seen here. I took a seat at one of the wooden benches and placed my head in my hands that were propped up onto my lap.
What was I doing?
My heart longed for the compassion of a lover, to have two could not represent the happiness that swelled inside of me. To have two people to lean on for support when needed, to count on, and to love eternally. Mates to hold you when you're most vulnerable, to share your most guarded thoughts and secrets. The phenomenon of having an unorthodox mate for Fae would increase the chances of more Fae having a variety of mates other than the species of Fae.
However, my mind had a different perspective on the situation, it wanted nothing to do with the Alphas. The technicalities that were accompanied with mates were too complicated to overcome, especially with the Seelie Court. Firstly, the entire realm of Fae, with both of the Courts, had never experienced the mating of two different species. It was unclear and dangerous to coexist with other supernatural beings to the Fae for unknown reasons that were declared before I came into position.
My parents were never able to relay the secrets of the realm or the rare enchantments when I became the Lord of the Seelie Court. They died, vigorously at the hands of an unknown murderer. To this day, the Seelie Court was still investigating the death of my parents with no strong leads but we were persistent.
And not to mention the werewolves' views on homosexual mates, some rejoiced and others repulsed at the thoughts of being in the same room with these wolves. There were reports of a maximum number of fifty pairs of homosexual mates, both female and male. The breakthrough of being accepted was soon accomplished earlier last year. Good news spread through the realms of all supernatural beings. I, for one, accepted anyone, heterosexual or homosexual. I didn't feel the need to classify someone by their sexual preference that the moon goddess or any other mythical god or goddess chose for them.
My people were told to live by this as well. We didn't prefer one gender, we praised whoever we were paired with. That is why I am not entirely bothered when I discovered that I was mated to Kaspar and Kasey. The additional benefit of being able to mate with whomever we were chosen for, is that we do not reproduce the way that almost every other species does, through the act of lovemaking. We procreate through the love both mates share, which is transferred into an enchantment.
On the other hand, werewolves found offspring to be essential in packs, especially Alphas because they would need an heir. I, obviously could not offer an heir to Kaspar and Kasey. And that issue would allow them to reject me as their mate. They would probably find a female, and create pups with her instead.
With that said, to this day, I didn't know how Kaspar and Kasey felt about homosexual mates. Well, hopefully their minds would soon change if they ever found out that I was their other half.
I was taken back to reality when Kaspar's voice rung through the castle grounds.
"No one is going anywhere. Our mate is present today and until we find her, no one is allowed to leave the castle grounds," his voice roared as I stood up and started to chant the words to the cloaking spell for the second time.
Once the protection spell invisibly cloaked my body, I returned to the ballroom. The enchantment was used for the last ten years to mask the scent that would alert the Alphas that I am indeed their mate. Hopefully, there won't be another slip-up like the time in the restroom.
When I entered the ballroom, the Fae warriors found me and stood by my side as my eyes scouted for either Kasey or Kaspar, needing to get out of this predicament of being stuck here. Suddenly, I found Kasey standing by other Alphas, explaining the dilemma of not being able to leave the pack grounds. I tugged his arm lightly as the other Alphas noticed my presence and bowed their head in respect.
I thanked them for their courtesy and distanced Kasey and I away from them.
"Is something wrong, Eli?" Kasey asked, referring to my childhood nickname.
I noticed his baby blue eyes dilated slightly as I sighed, "I apologize for the circumstance you are in, but I assure you that you will soon find the lucky female. Despite that being said, I need to get back to my people, Kasey."
My heart hurt, like a millions of pins being stabbed into it at once, when I referred the their mate as a female. A soft smile appeared on his flawless face and nodded.
"Of course, yeah. Thank you for attending this year as you do every year. When Kaspar and I get this mate situation under control, we should enjoy each other's company again like the old days. Before you go, just bid a farewell to Kaspar before he gets jealous."
He winked and hugged me, embracing me in his strong, warm arms before releasing me. I waved goodbye and went to find Kaspar.
Kaspar was in the corner of the room, his angry eyes observing the room full of werewolves, trying to claim his mate. As I approached him, careful not to anger him anymore than he already was, his eyes shifted to me and his body instantly relaxed.
"Elian, is something wrong?" He asked, concerned.
I explained what I had stated to Kasey and Kaspar soon understood.
"No problem, just tell the guards at the door that I granted you permission to leave. I apologize for my angered facade, I am upset that the cherished mate to Kasey and I chose to hide instead of be proud to have us as their mate," he confessed with his glossy eyes. His usual serious tone was cracking and he was vulnerable at the moment.
I bit my lip, lightly, trying not to confess my own secrets to him. He looked very disheartened as I wrapped my arms around him.
"Everything will turn out alright. Don't worry."
As I stepped back, he thanked me for the words of encouragement and I started for the door with my guards trailing behind me. I never imagined to feel this disgusted with myself as the car drove off of the castle grounds and I watched the view before me dwindling down until it was no longer present.
Tears silently slipped down my face as I tasted the salty substance.
I hurt my mates and myself, what did I accomplish by avoiding them? Nothing, absolutely nothing.
We soon reached a patch of woods on the side of a highway and ventured into the forest. When were in the center of the forest and sure of no humans that were present, we teleported to the realm of the Fae, our home.
Thousands of stars welcomed me as I stood in front of my own grounds of Ireland. My home was on the flourishing, green hills of Ireland, where the sun met the moon. The benefits of having our own realm is being able to live on Earth, but not be seen by other humans. A realm of any supernatural species was created to be able to live peacefully in areas that humans did not commonly explore, however if they happened to, the realm would be invisible to the naked eye.
The light, oak doors opened upon my arrival and I allowed my wings to stretch outward, before lifting myself off and into the air. My wings, a glowing silver with intricate designs within the wing, allowed me to be free. My home was in the most cherished tree of all the realm, the tree of life. This tree was the most unique of all others in its own rights, allowing the reproduction of offspring to take place, the power of flight given to each Fae, and the power of the past rulers. As I entered the tree of life, it was late, nearing midnight. I prepared myself for bed, having no social interactions with anyone, and rested for a full day of ruling tomorrow.

"Do you approve of this notion, Lord Elian?"
Mentally drained from the order of events that took place yesterday, I was in no right condition to make decisions that impacted millions of Fae. I could barely get out of bed without falling back asleep. Nevertheless, here I was, being the responsible leader and sitting in the Grand Room with the Seelie Court, discussing politics.
A new topic that arose was the political ties that I attained with other supernatural beings. Apparently, I need to reach out more to other supernatural races other than werewolves to assure the people that they are protected. I had to admit, there was a variety of other mythical creatures out there that could help keep my kind safe, but I felt as if having the werewolves as an ally was enough.
Apparently, it wasn't.
I sighed as I nodded my head, "Yes, I approve."
"That's swell! In that case, you have a meet and greet with the vampires in Italy in two days time. And afterwards, another meeting with the mermaids will be made in the Mediterranean Sea a week later. Other supernatural leaders will also want to meet you for the first time as you have been quite isolated from all realms except for ours, of course," one of the Elders announced as soon as I agreed.
My nose scrunched in disagreement but I smiled, "Any other needed information?"
"The Alphas of the Celestial Hala Pack will be accompanying you during your travels as a form of protection," another Elder affirmed before I starting violently coughing.
One of my warriors approached me, "Lord Elian, are you okay?"
I nodded and cleared my throat after my little episode and directed a simple question to the Seelie Court, "Why?"
One of other Elders spoke with a concerned tone, "Lord Elian, with all due respect, you need more security other than our warriors. You will be gone for a minimum time frame of a month. Additionally, the Alphas have graciously offered their services, and they may potentially stumble upon their runaway mate as they travel around Europe."
Fuck.
"That is a well-thought strategy. I will converse with them later tonight about the arrangements and all. Anything else?"
The Elders shook their heads as I finally stood up and thanked them for their time and excused myself.
Now, I was royally screwed. I searched for my stupid human phone in my room and scrolled through my contacts to find one of the twin's numbers. I finally found Kasey's number and dialed it.
After the second ring, he finally answered, "Eli? Couldn't get enough of me?"
I scoffed, "Sure, where's Kaspar? I need to talk to both of you, concerning your master plan."
"Kaspar! Eli is on the phone... Here he is. I put you on speaker," he said as I took a seat on my bed.
"Hi Kaspar," I politely greeted Kaspar.
"Hey Elian, what's the matter?"
"Well, your gesture was very courteous and kind but I can't have you around me because I'm going to become the horniest Fae you have ever met. Why is that, you may ask? You are my mates and I have been betraying you. I tried to come clean, actually I haven't. But I really wanted to, but I didn't want to face rejection."
I nearly hesitated as I desperately wanted to say my thoughts but I shook my head and cleared my throat, "What's all this about you offering to come with me as I meet other supernatural leaders? I don't need any help or protection. I'm quite content with my previous safety plans."
"Oh about that, the Seelie Court came to us first, but we promptly agreed. We both acknowledge the fact that you have enemies, Eli. Especially after the death of your parents, we still do not know who the culprit is," Kasey spoke, with a protective tone.
"Well, I don't need your help! I'm perfectly fine being on my own and I can defend myself if an issue comes along on my journey," I said in an obvious tone.
The sound of a fist hitting the table emanates from the phone in my hand as Kaspar growls, "It's final, we will see you tomorrow for the preparations of this trip, Lord Elian O'Mordha!"
And like that, the call was ended.
What the hell have I gotten myself into?
