Bonus Short: Let's Dance
Bone Diggers (Paperback out now!)
Author's Notes: This has been sitting on my phone for six months probably and I find it utterly adorable so I wanted to share it. It's set before the novel around the time Owen is just comfortable enough with his feelings to be playful about them online. I hope you enjoy!

Daniel pulled his lips away from Lance. "I need to go to work."
"You are at work," Lance smirked.
"Loving you is work?"
The grin on Lance's face only grew. A hesitant lick of his lips spelled out more than his words, and Daniel's eyes closely watching spoke further.
"I meant," Lance started again, "We're at the guild already."
"Oh, yes." He shook his head. Things had peaceful blurred recently between real life and the game, if they were ever separate in the first place.
"So, where are you going?" Lance asked. His tone was flat, if not slightly restrained.
"I meant what I said," Daniel said softly. Chest tight as he hoped to ease back into that bliss held moments before. "I'm going to a place where you shall be missed, if that isn't work, I don't know what is."
Lance leaned forward, softly kissing Daniel again. A goodbye kiss that lingered a moment too long to be considered such. "Do you intend to woo me, sir?"
"That is what one does with noblemen, is it not?"
"You forget yourself."
Warning or not, Daniel ignored it. "No, I find myself. Bit by bit, each day, thanks to you."
