Chapter 170

Rosalind and Andrew returned home with two children after taking a walk.

When they appeared in the house, Jesse turned back to look at Nydia, and her expression had changed.

“I’m full now,” she stood up and said, “Are you full? Should I push you?”

“This woman is too good at acting,” Jesse thought. He didn’t let her push him and controlled the wheelchair himself.

“I’ll go find a band-aid first.”

Nydia took a band-aid from the medicine box and put it on the wound. It wasn’t too serious, but it still hurt.

When a finger gets injured, it must hurt.

Andrew called Jesse to the study, leaving Nydia, the two children, and the watchful Rosalind in the living room.

“Julia, Emma, take Molly and Tavish to take a bath,” Rosalind instructed the two nannies.

The two children were taken away, leaving only Rosalind and Nydia. The air between the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law instantly became tense.

“Nydia, if ask yourself, have we been peaceful since you married into our family?” Rosalind said seriously.

“Seems… not.”

Be more confident and remove the “seems”!

“If you really care about the two children, you shouldn’t continue to cause trouble.”

“I’m not causing trouble anymore.”

“Now, because of your domestic violence, the company’s stock price has plummeted, causing huge losses!” Rosalind blamed Nydia for everything.

Nydia smiled.

“Mom, this incident was caused by you.”

Rosalind’s face froze, and her anger flared up instantly.

“That’s because of your reckless behavior before!”

“Mom, here’s your tea.” Nydia handed her the teacup. “This tea tastes good, don’t waste it.”

This sentence was obviously a reminder to Rosalind not to splash the tea on her.

Rosalind felt that Nydia was different from the last time she saw her. She used to be obedient and follow orders, why was she standing up to her now?

“Fine, Nydia, you can act like this. When my son doesn’t like you anymore, let’s see what you can do!”

“Well, I’m afraid you’ll be disappointed. Jesse loves me very much and can’t live without me.”

Rosalind clenched the teacup and had to use a lot of force to resist the urge to pour the tea on Nydia’s face.

Rosalind slammed the teacup on the coffee table with force, making a loud noise, indicating her anger.

No, she needs to find a wife for Jesse again. She can’t tolerate Nydia anymore, otherwise their family will be in chaos.

Jesse indulges Nydia because of his strong emotions and loyalty. He will change his mind when he meets someone who truly cares him, and won’t tolerate her nonsense!

No one spoke. Jesse and Andrew came out of the study after finishing their conversation. They both felt something was off as they stepped into the living room, and they exchanged a helpless glance with each other.

“Let’s go.” Andrew said to Rosalind.
